Sleep Talking

On the next day, Ash returned to the hospital to check on James' condition.

Upon arriving outside of James room he could hear laughter's resounding inside the room he then knocked.

"Coming!" Jessie's voice could be heard near the door, seeing who their visitor was Jessie smiled and immediately asked Ash to enter.

"Goodmorning Ash or should I call you Boss from now on." Jessie teased with a grin on her face.

Ash only smiled back at Jessie and turned his attention towards James who is currently seated on his bed, "Looks like you guys are still tough as cockroaches like last time."

James scratched the back of his head and replied, "Hello Ash, Thank you for saving me and Jessie. I don't know how to repay you but I will do my very best on helping Meowth with the task you have given him."

Ash nodded his head and sat on the sofa beside James bed where Meowth was sleeping at the moment, Ash looked at Meowth and saw that he was drooling on the sofa's armrest and sat on the opposite side.

"Jessie and James, may I ask if you still have your pokemon with you?" Ash asked while taking a bite of an apple that he got on the table beside him.

Jessie and James had a smirk on their face and said, "Before we told Giovanni that we were quitting we made sure to release all of our pokemon so that they won't get caught up with our troubles."

Inwardly praising at how thoughtful of a trainer they were Ash proposed, "Seeing how good of a trainer you both are even though you are stealing other trainers pokemon, I will bring you to a special place whether or not you can catch a pokemon will be up to your luck and potential."

Hearing Ash's words the couple became excited knowing that the special place Ash will be bringing them will surely be "SPECIAL"

"Thank you so much, Boss!" Jessie and James said in unison.

"Brasdsf2&^%*^$#%, you there give me a massage and you go and get me my sardines. Ah! being a manager is so tough!" All of a sudden out of nowhere Meowth started sleep talking making Ash turned his attention towards the feline.

'Meowth is really digging it right now, he hasn't even started his job and he already dreams about what's gonna happen in the future.' Ash thought a small smile forming on his face.

Jessie and James laughed awkwardly hearing Meowth's sleep talk, they wanted to laugh but to them, Meowth is like a family member so they get embarrassed when Meowth pulls a stunt like this.

"I'm sorry about Meowth, Boss. he just recently had a good night sleep after reuniting with us so he is having a great dream." James said trying to reason Meowth's behaviour.

Shaking his head, Ash stood up from his seat and said making his way towards the door, "I'll be leaving for the meantime and will come back in a week to check up on you guys."

Jessie and James bowed at Ash and thank him again for the opportunity he has given them.

After leaving the hospital Ash stared at the blue sky taking in a deep breath of fresh air, 'It's been a long time since I last explored Kanto' Ash thought and took out Charizard.

"Let's go and have some good old adventure time," Ash said hopping on top of Charizard.

Ash then explored the Kanto region along with his pokemon and fetched his manager Meowth and his assistants Jessie and James he also helped them catch their pokemons which he promised them the last time, as Ash continued his journey with some new company which made him sometimes feel that hiring them was a huge mistake on his part and with all the adventuring Ash did a month and a half quickly passed by.

The Lily of Valley Conference also known as the Sinnoh League is being held at the Lily of Valley Island, 3 stadiums were constructed one big stadium with 2 smaller stadiums flanking on its side.

Different kinds of stalls could be seen being set up in the center of the road, and you could see many different trainers and pokemons arriving every single day.

"We made it! we are finally here *phew* I really thought that I wouldn't be able to get all of the 8 badges on time." A beautiful purple curly-haired woman said to a green-haired gentleman.

Cilan the green-haired man smiled and replied, "I didn't know that you were the worry-type person."

Iris scoffed and said crossing her hands across her chest, "This is an important event so It is normal for me to be worried for once."

Cilan smiled wearily hearing his best friend's response and told her that they should first look for a place to stay in.

On a different part of the Lily of Valley, 3 beautiful women arrived and exited the car they rented for their journey.

A blue-haired beautiful lady in her late teenage years looked at her surroundings and felt nostalgic, "The last I've been here was when Ash first competed on the Lily of the Valley Conference."

"Piplup-pi!" Piplup who stood beside the blue-haired beauty responded in agreement.

"I wonder if Ash already arrived?" Another beautiful lady in her late teenage years asked while glancing at her surroundings.

"Ufufufu, why are you all so excited to meet my baby boy?" A mature woman chuckled and teased the two ladies that were accompanying her.

The two ladies blushed and replied in unison, "We aren't excited! we just want to beat him up!"

The mature woman giggled even more and replied, "Then I will tell Ash not to meet you guys lest he gets beaten up."

The two ladies were tongue-tied and didn't know how to respond to the question and could only keep their mouths shut.

"Let's not waste our time standing here and start exploring the island," Delia said and started walking towards the stalls scattered everywhere.
