Chapter 7 Waiting

<p>Inside the guild office room there are small young pokemons sitting on the 2 sofas each of them are either nervous, quite, annoyed, or confused the reason being why they were called here. Except for a black crow pokemon named Murkrow who is not sitting on the large sofa but is near the wooden bookshelf. Murkrow is taking glimpses of any potential shiny trinkets that may have need for a more better home or wish to move to a resort he names his personal collection. Still even though his desire for anything shiny is strong his survival instincts as a thie- a real estsate agent to live is stronger. A Clefairy who is standing next to the Guild Master has his eyes closed, his arms behind his back and is at times glancing at Murkrow. Whenever Murkrow has a sparkle in his eyes Clefairys back begins to slightly glow light pink which makes Murkrow shift his stare at a window on the opposite side of the wall while sweating for dear life. The Guild Master Jigglypuff on the other hand has an impatient closed eye look with a twitchy ear. A couple of times whenever the pokemon sitting on the sofas talks or make a any movement Jigglypuffs opens its eyes its pupils staring at the pokemon. To anyone except guild staff, and guild members Jigglypuff looks like any other Jigglypuff. Outside the Guild Jigglypuffs are a harmless and fun pokemon who are either more suited to roles such as care takers, performers, and rarely sometimes healers. Similar to if not close to there long time friend the Clefable family but to the guild this Jigglypuff is dangerous. Inside the guild the members have a hidden rule for the new members that basically says to NEVER, EVER, piss off the Guild Master and to others behind the Guild Masters back say that there is the second coming of the 1st Guild Master Wigglytuff. After awhile Jigglypuff takes out 8 folders from his desk and begins going through the information.<br/><br/>*Bang*<br/><br/>As on que the 2 large doors are swung open with a loud noise. "Guild Master! I have brought who you are looking for!"<br/><br/>At the doors there is a large muscular blueish grayish bipedal pokemon wearing a championship belt. On top of its head are three brown ridges. Its arms are muscular with dark red vertical stripes on them. It has a vaguely reptilian face with a short snout, narrow red eyes and four pointed teeth visible inside its mouth.<br/><br/>On his left shoulder there is Clefairy and Honchcrow who are injured and bruised being held by his left arm while on his right he is dangling a bunny like pokemon with swirled eyes having its ghost come out of it's open mouth. Beside it, there is a small brown bipedal dinosaur pokemon with skull covering its head holding a bone in one hand.<br/><br/>Everyone but the Guild Master Jigglypuff who is looking over some papers, and the secretary Clefairy had there eyes wide open with a shock expression seeing the guilds fighting tutor Machoke carrying injured pokemon one of them is even holding its right shoulder with a bit of a pained face.<br/><br/>Jigglypuff looks up from the papers taking a quick look at Machoke then looks at the small skull head pokemon. Turning to look at its secretary with a calm feminine voice says "Secretary take the three injured to the nearest infirmary also reprimand Machoke by temporary blocking him access to any if not all Training Facilities and training equipment for today and tomorrow."<br/><br/>*THUMP* *Thump*<br/><br/>The sounds of Clefairy and Honchcrow injured bodys hitting the floor at the same time while another one lands on top of the two. Which is caused by a Machoke who is frantically waving his hands with a scared expression with wide eyes constantly repeating the same words "Wait Guild Master I Can Explain!"<br/><br/>The Guild Master Jigglypuff is only looking at the papers while saying "Oh, do you have a good reason for why you shouldn't be punished?" When Jigglypuff finished speaking secretary Clefairy had a jolt reaction making him slightly straightened his back.<br/><br/>Machoke on the other hand has a stern if not a conviction like face ,crossing his arms, puffing his chest slightly up. He looks like he is ready to die? What?<br/><br/>"Guild Master of course its important first it's about the request for former adventures from "The Ring Leaders". Sadly, them and many of the fighting experts won't be available for a couple months." Lifting one arm up he holds up three fingers then continues. "Aside from me there are three who stayed behind but." Sticking only one finger out. "Two of the three went to train heading to the nearest mountains most likely the ones inhabited by rock types. Those two left about a three or five days so currently only me and another are currently available for your request as support."<br/><br/>Clefairy seeing Jigglypuff with a blank moody contemplating look asks Machoke in a perfessional tone "Why have many of the fighting specialists left and why for such a long duration."<br/><br/>Machoke Serious ready to die face instantly turned into a two dot eyes with question Mark's floating around his head. Scratching the back of his head he says in a confused tone. "Huh? They left for the traditional Fighting Tournament at Rival Peak That happens every five years and only last all week."<br/><br/>Jigglypuffs inhales some air its body gets slightly bigger then returns to normal size letting out one angry breath. Looking at secretary Clefairy says "Cancel the reprimand instead see if you can get anyone from the explorers to join as support. Though Machoke alone would be ideal it's better to be safe than sorry." Turning to look at Machoke continues "And Machoke if possible bring the pokemon that stayed behind, if they refused tell them that they will be givenan added bonus for there service. Also your pay will be deducted along with a fee for the treatment of the three injured staff" <br/><br/>Machoke hearing this his dot eyes turned back to normal but he now has a wary smile. Seeing this Jigglypuff says in a are you questioning my authority tone. "Is there a problem you wish to speak about regarding your deduction."<br/><br/>Machoke face ones again returned to a scared face while waving his arms rapidly "NO NO no its not about the fee, I will gladly be responsible for my actions."<br/><br/>Secretary Clefairy seeing that Mackoke is basically goimg into Fight or Flight mode intervenes before things go out of hand "If i may add what appears to be the problem? What has got you worried?"<br/><br/>Hearing Clefairys words Machoke was able to calm down looking back at the Guild Master with a slightly confident face says "Sorry Guild Master but the pokemon who stayed behind is an ex adventure who used to go by "Hops". She won't um ,no, will definitely not take the job even if you personally requested it.<br/><br/>Slightly tilting a ear up Jigglypuff in a curious tone says "Is there a specific reason why she wont take the request? Even if its from me." Ending its sentence with ominous tone.<br/>Scratching the back of his head he has a face of some having trouble with words either from fear or from complete confusion. "She, um...is still on going on about, what, she is...well, still, um." Seeing the weird looks given to him by the Guild Master and the small ones sitting at the sofas Machoke takes a deep breath and says "She...um...is...still...searching...for...a...life partner."<br/><br/>"..."<br/><br/>"..."<br/><br/>"..."<br/><br/>Jigglypuff has a "finger" rubbing its forehead '...And just when I thought I heard everything. You know what screw it i'm to young to deal with this.' Looking back at Machoke with a "Let's get this day over with" face says "You can go now make sure to take the injured to the infirmary and be on time tomorrow we will need to know who else is joining."<br/><br/>"Yes Guild Master." Picking up the injured stacked pokemon on one shoulder he leaves the room rather quickly leaving the door open. weird?<br/><br/>"Secreta-" unable to finish Jigglypuff gets cut off by Clefairy.<br/><br/>"I understand." Clefairy walks to the door at shuts the door outside leaving Jigglypuff with the small pokemon.<br/><br/>Jigglypuff closes his eyes seeing Clefairy leave the office. 'I always forget how scary he can be in his professionalism as my secretary. Well what can you expect from a family that worked with us for generations now dating back after the T.A.D.E. True there are almost loyal in fact maybe even close to family eh.' Hearing small chatter Jigglypuff opens its eyes seeing the small ones with worried looks. Sighing a bit Jigglypuff inside self is looking up saying 'I really need to fix this talking to my self. hey it's not my problem that I've never socialized. True there are even STOP!!!'<br/><br/>Looking back at the pokemon sitting with a smile says "Now that everyone who is called is here we can begin. Cubone I would say take a seat but it seems you won't take it." Pointing at the right side of the wall Jigglypuff says. "You can take that seat next to the window or you can stand against the wall it's your choice."<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Wes: "Am I dead?"<br/><br/>Ace: "No your alive Brother."<br/><br/>Honchcrow: "What's this? The owner of the Book of Death wishes to die! What a turn of events this is a wondrous story."<br/><br/>Ace: "Settle down Honchcrow you need your rest."<br/><br/>Honchcrow: "Sorry sir Secretary."<br/><br/>Machoke: "Oh you guys are up that's good"<br/><br/>Wes: "No thanks to you."<br/><br/>Ace: "Settle down you need your rest for tomorrow"<br/><br/>Wes: "Reason?"<br/><br/>Ace: "You along with me will be taking the promoties to there promotion test"<br/><br/>Wes: "...Machoke due me a solid and punch me really hard In the face."<br/><br/>"..."<br/><br/>"..."<br/><br/>"..."<br/><br/>"..."<br/><br/>????: "How come I was never introduced."<br/>(\_/)<br/>( '^' )<br/>(U U)</p>
