Episode 63: New Species 2

The group quickly realized that Mew was not exaggerating in the slightest. His ability to teleport was the main issue. Anytime they got close he would just teleport a little bit over just to taunt them.

Leon: This is worst than any gym puzzle.

Wart: Or Team Rocket base.

Mew: Told you. How about I make this a little easier? You can use your attacks and if it hits that'll count as tagging me, okay?

Leon: Fine by me. Wart, do you still know Water Sport? Because if not this whole forest is going up in flames.

Wart quickly uses Water Sport before Leon uses Flamethrower at Mew. Just for him to block it with Light Screen.

Mew: Didn't say I wouldn't block it.

He pushes his Light Screen and uses it to knock Leon to the ground. Rai speeds behind him and tries to hit him with his tail but Mew barely moves out of the way.

Mew: You might actually be a bit of a problem. You being the fastest makes sense seeing as you're electric type, but that won't make a difference-

Wart tries to jump on Mew but he teleports away. Una throws Poison Stings with String Shots attached to them to try and restrict Mew but he just teleports away. Ivy uses Vine Whip to try and grab him but he just teleports away. Otto conjures up a massive gust of air with her wings but Mew just teleports away. Again and again he just teleports and teleports all over the forest. Soon enough, the sun begins to set.

Mew: Dang has it really be long already? Seeing as how boring this was I thought this would've felt like an eternity. But I guess this game is really coming to an end-

Wart, Ivy, Una, Otto, and Rai all try one last rush of Mew but as expected he teleports out of the way.

Mew: Stop interrupting me! You've basically lost already so at least let me speak!

Leon: Who said we lost?

Behind Mew was Leon with his tail wrapped around Mew's body.

Leon: Tag.

Mew: I forgot about you. Good job, you actually did it. I'll keep up my end of the promise, I can guarantee you will prevail in the Pokémon League.

Leon: If you plan on interfering during the League, forget about it. We didn't train for a year to have someone else be the cause of our victory. We got this.
