"It seems like being the child of a gym leader comes with a bit of clout." I say seeing my profile. The old Forrest was a very social guy and almost every person in the city knew him due to Brock and Flint being related to him.
Because of brock not using social media much, the populace opted to follow his brother.
Most people from their own cities are very prideful of their gym leaders as they "represent them". It's like going for a sports team but in this case it's only a single person who has pocket monsters.
(A/N: A good example of this is Episode 68 of Advance Generation. It shows how the people of their city or towns nearby go nuts over their gym leader's kids like what they did to May and Max in that episode as the city people recognized May with just her face. They think of their gym leader as an unbeatable pillar when they're not holding back and praise them an ungodly amount.)
It said I "owned" my dads Pokemon is because Flint gave me permission to use them at any point of time as he trusts his family. It's a bit different than Geodude as he's a family Pokemon that we "all own". So he might not be my "starter" but I can use him in the Indigo League.
On my profile there were multiple posts with Brock's Onix and Geodude. There wasn't much else as Forrest was a huge Pokemon battling fan so he followed loads of trainers.
Funnily enough Forrest participated in the chance of getting an official Pokemon league cap and lost. I guess Ash submitted more letters.
*Creak*
"Forrest are you ready?" My old man Flint shouts from the door. Still in my room, I start to get pumped up knowing what day it was.
It's been a few weeks since I became a gym trainer and I've been absorbing all the battle experience I could.
Training with Geodude mostly consisted of {Rock Throw} and {Mega Punch} training as there's no point improving things like agility or speed.
This is because Geodude can still evolve and he'd need to learn coordination and get used to his body all over again.
"I'm ready dad, I'm heading over!" I respond taking my Silph co bag with me. The bag had way more extra space and used the same technology as Pokeballs and how they store such big creatures in small items.
Right now I was gonna be heading to Hoenn earlier than schedule as dad was able to call Mr. Stone due to a favour.
"Make sure to pick a reliable starter that meet our criteria."
Hearing dad go on and in about what to look for I just sigh.
"Yeah, yeah. It must have a good egg move, be above average size from its species and be determined to get stronger." I recite. Flint hearing this just embarrassingly scratches the back of his head realising that he kept ranting on.
"Just make sure to behave as this is youre first time outside of Pewter without me and your mother." Flint adds making me nod.
"Don't worry dad I won't cause any trouble." I say in excitement. Walking out of my room I made my way inside the living room to where the rest of my family was.
Seeing my siblings, the third eldest Salvador's walked up to me with a pumped face.
"Make sure to bring the best Aron you can, the others and I want to spoil it for you." He says a little embarrassed. Understanding what he meant I give him a handshake.
"I know what you mean, I'd like to see and play with different types of Pokemon as well." I respond with a smile. Salvadore hearing this eagerly nods as he and the rest of my siblings said goodbye.
Before I could head off though, my mom gave me a big hug.
"Make sure to buy some souvenirs for us, this card has heaps of money so don't worry about it. Just spend responsibly okay?" She said while handing me a card. Taking the card I nod as I wouldn't be the type of guy to buy useless stuff anyways.
Finally being freed from her grip, I exit the house and spot my dad talking to a guy wearing a suit which made him look like a butler which he probably was.
"Dad am I going with him?" I question walking up to the two. With both dad and the guy looking at me, the butler decided to speak up.
"Yes young man, I'm the Stone family's head butler Davis and I'll be guiding you to the Aron resort the family runs." The man says to which I just stand there.
"I'll see you later son, good luck!" Flint says walking away while waving. Waving back I quickly looked behind to see that Davis has sent out an Alakazam.
"Is he gonna teleport us?" I question looking at the Alakazam. Davis proceeded to nod as we tapped Alakazam's shoulders.
…
"Aron!" A cute Pokemon shouts as it playfully jumps another one of its species to play. Looking at the cute scene I smile and wonder how long till we got to the section I could choose from.
We made it to Hoenn then went to the Aron reserve the day later which is now by airplane as it would almost be impossible for a non-champion Pokemon to teleport that far.
The reserve was properly kept safe with guards roaming the place also keeping the raised Aron's safe from wild danger.
"So where are they?" I asked curiously seeing Davis walk towards a fenced off area with rocky ground, he turns around and explains.
"The ones you've requested to see are a bit special as they were given custom food, training and are heavy eaters" Davis says while pulling up some documents. Hearing this I grin knowing that at least one of these should fit what I'm looking for.
"Over the years, have any differently coloured Aron appeared?"
Davis hearing this starts to think to himself.
"There have been a few, one to three I believe. One of the three do fit what your looking for I'm pretty sure." Davis comments as stars appear in my eyes. A shiny Pokemon is exactly something I need.
Taking the documents Davis hands me, I start to read the description they have.

[Pokemon: Aron (Iron Armour Pokemon]
Height: 0.38m (1'3")
Ability: Sturdy
Moves: {Harden}, {Tackle}, {Metal Claw}, {Rock Tomb}, {Roar}, {Headbutt}, {Protect}, {Superpower}, {Body Slam}.

The first option has decent moves but it's ability isn't too ideal as it's not what I'm looking for.
Searching through a few more papers I narrow it down to three options as they had the move {Dragon Rush} and the ability {Rock Head}.
"I'd like to see these three." I tell David handing him three papers together while the rest were in a pile. Davis taking the paper, nods and calls up someone.
"Where are the locations of number 2175, 2946 and 2429?"

Remembering the three Pokemon that I singled out. The Pokemon that stood out the most was the first one but I really wanted to pick the shiny Aron.
'But really 2'5", what do they feed their Aron?' I thought me myself realizing that the Aron's height would be up to my waist.
"Just up a head we will see number 2429 roaming out and about." Davis tells me as we entered a cave.
"Alright." I respond following from behind. Entering the cave, the entrance lead to a hallway which went on forward. There were torches off the the side of the walls which gave just a hint of light as we walked forward.
After a few minutes we made it to an open space where multiple Aron could be seen roaming the area.
They came in all different shapes and sizes and with this I could easily identify number 2429 for its height and its number on its back.
"There's the first Aron." Davis announces as he walks off to the side to where there was another person taking care of the Aron.
"Hey Boss, is this the kid?" The man says with a smile. Davis nodding at the guy, tells him to go get the Pokeballs for the three Pokemon I was checking out.
*Crash!*
A sudden crash could be heard as Davis and I turn around. Looking at the dust cloud, there was an Aron which I recognize as 2429 was on the ground limping.
"What is this?" Davis said confused. Not knowing what was happening, I just stood there awkwardly seeing that there was an apparent fight.
Soon after this another Pokemon appeared which was another Aron, but unlike the rest it was blue and had red eyes and was a bit shorter than the 2'5" Aron in the ground.
"Is that the Blue Aron?" I asked wanting to know if it was the Aron from the document I choose. Davis nodding at my words looks over to the worker in charge.
"I'm sorry boss, those two keep on battling as they have the dragon gene from their parents." The worker explains which made sense. The two fought over "territory" and battled often.
"But don't get Blue Aron wrong though, he's a bully who attacks anything that he hates."
Hearing this my ears perk up and I gain a large smirk.
'I think he's the one.' I thought to myself. Even though this Aron is a trouble maker he has three things going for him.
{Head Smash} with {Rock Head}, he's a shiny which piques my bias and that he is an aggressor. He's no bitch and will fight for what he wants.
I may not be good enough to train such a strong Pokemon myself, but who said I'll be the only one training it?
'Dad will have to help me train it as he wants every Pokemon in the family to be safe for the kids.'
Thinking this I flash David a huge grin who was holding a Pokeball of his own.
"Don't stop them sir, I want to watch." I tell the butler to which Davis just reluctantly accepts. At this point I assumed that the caretaker would stop them by now, but I'll get to see how far Shiny Aron will go to be the leader.
"Aron!" Multiple Aron's started to help up the downed one while some more backed it up as well. There was a total of eight Aaron making it a 8v1.
"ARON!" The Shiny Aaron shouted not backing down. This shout ended up becoming a shock wave which I recognize as {Roar}.
This made three of the eight Aron run away in fear as the remaining five Aron shiver seeing their opponent.
"Ronn!" The Shiny Aron roars out engulfing itself in a purple hue, which it quickly turns around to charge at the group.
"That's {Dragon Rush}." I murmur seeing the speeding blue menace.
Two Aron's got in front of the pack and used {Harden}, but this didn't do much as the speeding Shiny Aron sent them flying.
*Crack*
The walls of the cave cracked a little as the Aron hit the floor.
"Amazing.." Davis spouts seeing the damage dealt by the guy.
The other Pokemon not backing down try to use Rock Tomb to keep a distance. But in a form of stubbornness. Shiny Aron engulfs it's head with a light brown hue and chargers for the second time.
Three of the Aron use {Rock Tomb} but to their dismay the blue Aron just breaks all the boulders with {Head Smash} and finishes the last three.
"ARRRON!" It roars out triumphant. Butler seeing this just looks at me and comments.
"Are you satisfied now?" He asks.
"I am, I'd like to choose the blue Aron over there." I respond with a cheeky smile. Nodding at my words Davis picks up 2946/ Shiny Aron's Pokeball and hands it to me.
"I'd suggest acting confident and strong in front of the Aaron to not let it get any bad ideas." Davis says handing me a notepad. "On the note pad there's the recommended food recipe, basic training, ways to tame an Aron and how to discipline it. Though I'm not sure if they will work on this particular Aron."
Chuckling at his last remark, I take my Pokedex and hover the Pokeball on top of the blue gem.
"Confirming claim…. Accepted. New owner of [Aron] Forrest Harrison." The Pokedex buzzes out which makes me smile madly.
"Finally my own Pokemon." I murmur unconsciously gripping Aron's Pokeball. While this was happening the Aron I just received felt a bond suddenly appear as it faced me.
Realising this I stare at the very not little guy and confidently walk up to it.
'As long as it isn't an 8'0" Tyranitar, then alls good.' I joked to myself getting up to Aaron.
"Hello big guy, I know you understand me so I'll make this short. I'm gonna make you the strongest Pokemon in the world." I announce my ambition without stuttering, saying this I reach out my hand. The "speech" was made easier due to the fact that I wasn't talking to a human.
"Aron?" The little guy huffed out a little taken aback.
