239. Results

I know I have said that if we could hit certain milestones with the Power Stones, I would release a new extra chapter.

However, the past month or so have been very difficult for me because I have many tests and also an internship.

I'm very sorry that I couldn't drop the new chapters.

After managing to catch this Mudkip, Ash and his team have all of the members of the Hoenn Royal Starters. Ash had a Grovyle and the newly caught Mudkip, while May has her own a Torchic, her actual Starter Pokémon.

Of course Ash would never miss the opportunity to catch a Torchic if he ever had the chance. From the moment he met and battled Harrison's Blazeiken, he was determined to train a powerful Blaziken of his own.

A dual Fire-type and Fighting-type Pokémon, not only does it look handsome, but he is also a very powerful Pokémon.

Ash thought that this Pokémon is very compatible with him and his ideals.

Then Ash's team was all full again. Unexpectedly, Ash was able to capture three new Pokémon on Dewford Island.

So now the group decided to go back to Dewford Town first, so they could also replenish some supplies and think of their next move.

"If we pass through this cave, we should be very close to Dewford Town!" Max looked at the PokéNav in his hand and said that looking at the dark cave in front of him.

In fact, there could have already walked back to Dewford Town once via the Granite Cave, but this time the group traveled together in a different direction, so they decided to find a new route.

Dratini has become Ash's strongest Pokémon among all of Ash's current Pokémon here except for Pikachu of course. He had been leading the way with them while wearing the restraints of the Macho Brace.

Pikachu walks beside them a their big brother and mentor, and is also responsible for managing and caring for the little guys who can so easily get into trouble.

Every moment that they look away for a sec, they somehow manage to cause some kind of problems for themselves.

May held her new Silcoon in her arms, looking very happy.

While Torchic, Mudkip, Corphish, Aron, Lotad and Forretress were all happily following Pikachu's lead, they all looked looked so well-behaved it is hard to believe that these guys can blow the whole cave anytime they wanted.

But another new situation happened inadvertently. Ash's Corphish fell behind for some reason, broke away from the team and rushed into the cave on the side.

There happens to be a Loudred living inside of this cave. The appearance of Whismur, the form before it evolves into a Loudred is very cute, and it is also one of the Pokémon's that many girls from the Hoenn Region like to have as their Pokémon's. However, after it evolves, it becomes much more terrifying and unsightly.

The sound waves they produce can even blow away houses.

The lovable lobster poked the sleeping Loudred with its pliers, probably feeling happy because of its smooth skin made him feel good.

Then it extended his pliers again to the big ears of the sleepinh beau-Loudred.

Loudred suddenly woke up and roared angrily because his good sleep got interrupted by a seafood. His loud roar in the small cave was deafening and terrifying at the same time!

The sound had knocked Corphish back, so he just rushed out of the cave and jumped up and down. The whole cave seemed to be vibrating in the noise.

The cave will collapse if this continues much longer.

Brock and the other two were also frightened by the deafening roar so they quickly covered their ears. Silcoon in May's arms fell to the ground, and she immediately rolled deep into the cave because of the vibration on the ground.

Torchic, her partner, saw this and chased after her very quickly. Pikachu also noticed it and quickly called out to Dratini, his second most trusted companion after Ash.

Dratini nodded and disappeared immediately. It was the fastest one here with his Extreme Spped, and Pikachu was also not far behind him.

Dratini's and Pikachu's full speed was also revealed because of Thai. Dratini used his tail to throw Corphish next to Ash, and then caught up with Silcoon, who was rolling deeper into the narrow cave.

Then something happened, Dratini's body was very slippery, and even Silcoons String Shot couldn't have tie itself to Dratini's body. They can only wait for Torchic and Pikachu, who are running over step by step, to pick them up.

Pikachu could have been faster but he had to save Torchic from getting g squished into ground chicken by the falling rocks.

"My ears hurt so badly!" Max squatted on the ground in pure discomfort.

Brock made a quick decision and asked his Forretress, who was not able to follow the group away, to open a hole in the cave wall on the side, and quickly left the cave with both Max and May.

Ash smiled seeing this. One thing he was relieved about was that his Ralts had the ability to copy others abilities. She had just copied the Loudreds Soundproof ability the moment he had appeared, and so she would not be affected by the sound waves at all.

Ash's whole body was shining with a light blue light, which blocked almost all of the sound waves. He slowly came to Loudred and said, "It's okay, Loudred. We are really sorry for waking you up from your sleep. As an apology, you can go back to sleep after eating this!" "

After a while, Loudred, who was jumping up and down, stopped in front of Ash, swallowed the Pokémon food Ash took out from his bag with his big mouth, and then turned around and returned to his room in the cave.

Ash then looked at his Corphish at his feet and saw that it was blinking its big eyes with an innocent look on its face. He lightly tapped its head and said, "You are just careless. I told you that you can explore but not disturb anyone here, but you did the only thing I told you not to. Welp, looks like I have you tech you better in the future."

Sensing the doting in Ash's eyes, Corphish waved his big pliers with joy.

He would commit more such crimes in the future for Ash's approval.

Pikachu and Dratini were also back soon.

"Silcoon, it's great that you're okay, Ash, thank you! I couldn't imagine what might have happened if not for you, Pikachu and Dratini!" May hugged Silcoon in her arms again, and May was so overjoyed that she hugged Ash very tightly.

"Big Bro, are you so awesome! You just took care of that Loudred like it wasn't anything to worry about!" Max hurried over to Ash. He admired Ash even more than before of that was even possible. They too had taken care of themselves in the cave with the help of Brock, but Ash not only took care of the Loudred, but also saved his sister's Silcoon was rescued.

"May, you are so unreliable, you even lost your Silcoon and—!" Before Max could finish speaking, Ash hit him in the head again.

"Big Bro, why did you hit me again?" Max said with tears in his eyes.

"You were the one that was screaming the loudest out of you two, so you are not one to tell others."

Back at the Dewford Town Pokémon Center, Asv dialed Professor Oak's phone number and asked, "Professor Oak, is my Grovyle and Taillow okay over there?"

"Ash, your Grovyle training is really hard. Now they are cutting waterfalls in my backyard every day with your Scizor, Venasaur, Meganium, and Crystal. I have never seen anyone training like this!" Professor Oak had seen some really eye-opening things as of recently.

(Crystal was Ash's Suicune, he told Professor Oak to call him by that name because he didn't want some unnecessary people learning that he had a Suicune with him.)

Ash's Grovyle was actually slashing waterfalls every day under the training of his Scizor and other Grass-type Pokémon's, and what shocked him was that he clearly saw that the waterfall was really slashed in half, even if it was only for a short moment.

Hearing this, Ash just gave a cheerful smile, "My Scizor really has a way with him, I guess being the edgy ones in the team made them bond quicker."

The practice in swordsman takes many years. Grovyle following Ash now will obviously delay his time and progress, so Ash only needs to exchange it back frequently to test the results in battles and some occasional Bond training.

There was also his Taillow. According to Professor Oak, his three Flying-type Pokémon's in the Lab, Pidgeot, Noctowl, Instinct and the Eon Siblings, were all watching and training with him. They are basically torturing the little bird to death every day, but he still manages to persists.

The improvement in his strength is visible to the naked eye.

(Instinct is the name Ash chose for his Zapdos for the same reason he did with his Suicune.)

"By the way, Ash, had the Pokémon Egg I asked Brock to send it to you hatched yet?" After saying this, Professor Oak asked very curiously.

"Not yet, what kind of Pokémon is this? Its sure is taking its sweet time to hatch. My other Pokémon has already hatched long ago." Ash also felt that something was wrong with this Pokémon Egg. Even if Professor Oak brought it to Ash when it was just born, the incubation time was too long, even longer than soem Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon Eggs.

But after Nurse Joy checked it out, she thought the Pokémon Egg was developing perfectly well.

"Ash, you have to give it some more time. If you train this little guy, he will maybe not even lose to your Vulcan!" Professor Oak spent a lot of effort to get this Egg for Ash to train.

(Vulcan is the name I chose for his Entei, the same reason I gave nicknames to Suicune and Zapdos.)

This made Ash look forward to it even more to when it actually hatches.
