LOG 60: In Two Days.

"And yes… So, we were able to get it back eventually, hehe!" I explained.

"This is partially my fault. I wasn't strong enough to protect my card," added Virgo.

"I see. You are forgiven, but I cannot merely let you go. Every action has their consequences. Plus, this Meteonite you returned to me is a decoy."

"A what?!" the two of us exclaimed.

"I studied it earlier. It's true. What Ghetsis gave you is a decoy. Why, you were easily fooled that he'd give it to you just like that, didn't you?" said Dr. Zager.

"Hmm, well… Okay, you have a point doctor."

"As punishment for your felony, I have no choice but to disqualify you, Luna, from the third task."

I gulped.

"Yes, you heard right. You won't participate anymore, which means, you will remain as an Elite Operative for now. I will also suspend you from any missions for two days. As for Virgo who is the primary fault behind all of these, three days will be allotted."

"On the brighter side, it's a vaca for us, right?"

"Hmm, I guess you can rest. The two of you are lucky that you weren't fired. I admire Luna's profile in our database, and as for Virgo, you've been useful in acquiring the Meteonite. As thanks, I could only give you suspensions."

"Could've been worse, thanks Madam Boss!"

"Wait. Before you leave, Luna, someone wants to speak to you regarding your… other felonies that I choose to ignore."

This day so far has been so complex that being a human is harder than mathematics. I saved Virgo, got half of the fault, and now, I committed another one? I thought hard. That's when I realized the unordered burglary I did with the stone.

Professor Sophie made her way in. She sat beside Madam Boss and gave me a glare. I knew she was mad, but a part of me tells me she's only er… sarcastic.

"Ah! Luna. I think you know what we're going to talk about."

"Yes, the black stone."

"And do you know what it has?"

"Er… I think a force or an aura? Hehe, Virgo and I are still researching."

"There's no need for research. It seems you've stolen a Pokemon, a legendary one."

"Neat!"

"Not neat! Do you realize what Zekrom can do? If you've read books in our library, you'll know what happened to Unova years ago. The battle between Reshiram and Zekrom wiped nearly all of humanity and Pokemon!"

"Oh, now I remember! Hey, one the brighter side, that makes me one of the two heroes right? Ah! I know, we could use Zekrom for Team Rocket!"

Madam Boss's eyes twinkled. "Ah! I like your thinking."

"B-b-but, Madam Boss, the scale of Zek—"

"—Is powerful. Perfect. Team Plasma won't stand a chance against us."

"What if they have Reshiram though? Who would win, professor?"

"As the story goes, no one won. The Pokemon got exhausted, and they transferred back to the state of a stone."

"But, Luna, you were a combat agent right? She could beat Reshiram with Zekrom."

"W-w-wait! You're supporting this, Madam Boss?"

"I mean, what better way to have the Meteonite back than to wreck their organization and claim it? With Zekrom with us, Unova will be ours to conquer."

"Ghetsis also wants Unova. So I guess it's a race."

After a few conversations, Madam Boss and Professor Sophie allowed me to go. It seemed that they still have an argument to do, which means the plan of using Zekrom isn't final yet. Anyway, I'll be keeping the stone with me in case they plan to use Zekrom. Still, since I'm the one who has it, that legendary Pokemon is considered mine.

"There you are. So, Plasma hunting without us eh?" asked Charlotte whom I encountered at the halls.

"Yeah, we woke up too early. Oh, I'm sleepy."

"So what happened? Grounded?"

"I prefer the term suspension."

"Virgo is too. She also told me you were disqualified. Well, you deserved that for cheating."

"Cheating? Hmm, fine, you've got a point. But hey? There's a lot of things I can do for this two day rest. I can battle, play, listen to music, or do whole sorts of other stuff."

"Hmm, you do that. Me and Zeal's got a mission to scout for Plasma quarters."

"Right."

We parted ways. Scouting is another word for boring, so glad I'm suspended. I prefer infiltration and action rather than letting my eyes do all the work. Meanwhile for day one, I thought of visiting Alice in her room. She rarely participates in any mission since the day her leg broke. Her mother must've gone apprehensive about it.

I knocked on her door but no one answered. She might not be there, so I guess that cancels out option number one. Training with my Pokemon would probably suffice day one's boredom, but without an opponent wouldn't do. Virgo's probably doing research stuff again and asking my Pokemon to battle each other is something I've gotten extremely tired to.

At the cafeteria, I just decided to eat. I sent out my Pokemon so they could eat as well. I've seen some improvements with Volcarona. She eats aplenty, and seems to be getting along with my other Pokemon. As for me, she still either bites or inflames my fingers, but the pain and temperature gradually decreases.

<Vol!>Volcarona started playing with Mawile, letting her ride on her back and flying around the cafeteria.

Absol and Salamence were asleep, Mismagius and Gardevoir were playing with cards.

"Luna, you forgot this."

"Oh, professor?"

"Your mega stone. No trainer owns it. So wherever Virgo took it must've been by luck. Noting she found a mega stone is Johto is also quite arousing."

"Thanks. So, how do I use it?"

"You need your mega stone, which unfortunately, you do not have. For now, you can keep that and strengthen your bond with Gardevoir. I know, you're gonna say you and Gardevoir are pretty strong, but when we talk about bond, there's more to it than strength and friendship. By my observations, I doubt you and Gardevoir could mega bond, giving her access to mega evolution. It is not only activated through mega stone pairs but bond as well."

"I see. Sigh, I thought I could use it. Seeing a Pokemon mega evolve aside from Rayquaza would be amazing!"

"Hmm, maybe when you reach Kalos. I don't think Madam Boss has any plans of sending you there yet though."

"I can wait."

"Hmm, if you're bored, come with me and Miyamoto later. We plan to run some fun assessments. As you, who is fond of action, I think you're gonna love it as well. Oh, and Alice will be coming too."
