LOG 56: Change of Plans

"Why did you tell them that?"

"I thought you were going to kill them so... I, I, you should've killed them!"

"That's not how that works,"

"But that's how I understand it. You're not some machine who only kills when mad aren't you?"

"No, you don't get it. Just stop revealing things out. If you were put to a novel or book, a lot might be grinding their teeth on you."

"You mean, hate me?"

"No, no, not that harsh, but maybe. Dislike, I guess?"

"Oh well, they can't blame me! I'm not the one who wrote myself right? It's the author's fault."

"Hmm..."

"Hmm..."

"Anyway, let's move on to get this piece," said Valery.

"No, not yet," I said and sent our Servine. "Alright, time for you to be released."

<Ser? Servine!> Servine hugged my leg.

"Aw, he grew attached. You're so lucky on catching Pokemon aren't you?"

"You want to come with me?"

<Servine!> He nodded.

"If you were in a book, imagine how many people will get frustrated on you catching a Pokemon by barely doing anything!"

"Let's move on with the book. Servine kinda reminds me of my first grass Pokemon."

"What is it?"

"Petilil. Gifted to me by mother... whom I murdered."

"Harsh. What happened to Petilil?"

"She died under some circumstances in Sinnoh. I do miss her until this point," I took out her heart ball and flower, nearly crying. "Such a lass, she is."

<Servine?>

"Okay, okay," I knelt and said sweetly. "You may come with us if you wish."

Servine leaped with joy but sprained his leg.

"Yikes. We better take care of your wound first."

The wind grew strong, and coincidently, a paper flew by on Valery's hair. She grabbed it read the article belonging to a torn newspaper.

"Oh bollocks. We're doomed," said Valery.

"We're in the newspapers?"

"No! Mr. Old man and his secretary is. They've been here in Mahler Island already and had claimed a piece whom he swears to protect by delivering it to a secret location in Vivaldi City."

"What? Let me have a look at that," I claimed the paper and perused it. "No way. These liars. They're not going to transfer it. Those diplomats somehow convinced the authorities."

"So it's off to Vivaldi City then?"

"Yup. Where is that place?"

"Further east from here. Aw, we're leaving that quick! I haven't gotten a load of Mahler Island."

"We're not on vacation, Valery. We're here for our mission."

"You're right. Vivaldi City then?"

"Vivaldi City it is."
