25: Riding on Gyarados

The best thing about aura was that his body was getting stronger.

Jayden had realized an increase in his stamina, he was getting taller, healthier, and definitely stronger.

he didn't know if this was because his aura came from the system, but he was definitely grateful.

a strong body could save him from a lot of things in this world, especially since pokemon weren't nerfed and could actually kill humans.

almost like the time he almost got curb stomped for stealing the rhydon's baby.

ahem..

let's not talk about that day.

Jayden continued meditating for a while longer since it was still morning.

raboot had returned and sat in a meditative state next to him, mimicking him, but the little guy couldn't keep his eyes closed and always opened them to see if Jayden was looking at him.

it was a funny sight.

Jayden spread out his aura all around the yacht.

all presences could be felt, there were at least a couple hundred people on this yacht, each aura was different, he could even discern the aura of his parents and lock onto them instantly.

"I wonder how powerful mid stage and high stage aura will be, or what if I managed to get psychic powers as well?, how would that work" Jayden thought, he became excited just by thinking about it.

but, these rewards didn't come easy, he needed to be strong to continue winning gym badges and getting rewarded by the system.

swoosh!!

since Jayden sat at the edge of the yacht, he could see many security personnel riding small speedboats and following beside the yacht attentively.

Jayden then suddenly got an idea, he was wondering how fast Gyarados was compared to a speedboat.

obviously Gyarados was faster, but Jayden still wanted Gyarados to have some fun in a large body of water for once.

Jayden went towards one of the guards who were stationed around the main deck area of the yacht.

"hey, do you mind if I ask you a question" Jayden said to a guard, causing the guard to finally move a muscle and stop being stationary.

"huh, oh yea, what's up" the man who seemed to be in his mid thirties replied with a smile after calming down.

"is it ok if I go into the water to ride around on my Pokemon?" Jayden asked.

the guard was shocked for a second or so before taking a good look at Jayden.

"we won't stop you, but for safety reasons you need to be a Pokemon trainer with at least 1 gym badge to be safe" the guard said while scratching his head, he doubted they Jayden had a gym badge.

"oh, that's it?" Jayden said before pulling out his trainer card and showed the man his two gym badges in his case.

the man was surprised for a second before his face returned to normal.

"all right, stay here, we were tasked to inform the captains about anyone who plans to leave the yacht and swim around on their pokemon" the guard said before he did a speed walk into the yacht.

Jayden didn't wait too long.

In a matter of minutes the guard returned, but next to him was a tall and burly man wearing a formal uniform, he seemed strong and had a sharp gaze.

"this is one of the captains currently on the ship, captain Wilson" the guard introduced the tall and burly man beside him.

"hello captain, my name is Jayden" Jayden greeted him.

"mhm, good to meet you, I hope you know that if you leave the yacht and an accident happens, our company can't be blamed, of course we will try to rescue you" the captain said after looking up and down at Jayden once more.

"I understand" Jayden replied and didn't bother explaining anymore.

"all right then, you are free to do anything you want outside of the yacht" the captain replied before returning, leaving the guard behind.

"you heard him, just make sure to stay safe out there, there are after all hostile pokemon in the waters" the guard replied with a gentle smile.

"I will keep that in mind, thanks for your cc concern" Jayden smiled back.

"ok then, I'll be back to my station, inform me if you need anything else, bye" after saying this, the guard walked back to his station and continued to stand there like a pillar.

"that was easier than I expected" Jayden silently laughed to himself.

'i guess being a trainer does have it's perks'

---

Jayden returned raboot back to its PokeBall and pulled out another PokeBall before walking to the edge of the yacht.

"come out Gyarados" jayden said before throwing his PokeBall down towards the sea.

since the yacht was very high up, only a select few people who were looking down at the sea from the edge of the yacht would notice Gyarados.

splash!!

a large 10 meter tall Shiny red Gyarados appeared in the water next to the yacht.

the yacht was around 25 meters tall so Gyarados looked so slightly small next to it.

taking off his shirt, Jayden used aura to surround his body before leaping off the edge of the huge ship.

completing a perfect dive, Jayden stabilized his breathing and swam within the sea, the large red Gyarados appeared below him and immediately lifted him up.

Jayden now stood on gyarados' head.

half of gyarados' body was submerged in the water, while its head surfaced the water.

swoosh!!

the huge red Gyarados sped off into the distance, it was so fast that the water surface was split apart and sent waves all around in parting ways.

"this is enjoyable, it's comparable to flying" Jayden said excitedly, the cool breeze of wind blew through his air as he smiled excitedly.

"Gyarados, go faster" Jayden said calmly, with the power of aura his body was pretty resistant to the harsh winds created by gayardos' speed.

ROAR!!!

Gyarados released a loud roar before increasing its speed, it was almost like a rocket as it shot away from the yacht with incredible speed, it was at least twice as fast as those speed boats which surrounded the yacht.
