Chapter 101 - Indigo League; Dominance of Garchomp part 2

"Aerodactyl get up." Isaac shouted loudly. Isaac was planning on returning the insult that Cynthia gave him by not replying to his question. Isaac wanted to show Cynthia that he is a better trainer than her. Isaac wanted to conquer Cynthia's heart. If his strongest Pokémon gets defeated so easily than Isaac will lose his face.

Aerodactyl!

With a loud roar Aerodactyl managed to stand up.

"Good Job Aerodactyl. Now use Stone edge." Isaac clenched his fist and with a grin ordered Aerodactyl.

[Despite taking huge damage, Isaac's confidences still remains undisturbed. Isaac looks very confident in winning this match.]

Aerodactyl stomped one of its feet on the ground, causing pointed light blue rock pillars to appear out of the ground.

Cynthia seeing this just shook her head. "Garchomp use Dragon Breath." As the light blue pillars continued to appear out of the ground in rows towards Garchomp, Garchomp took a deep breath as Light blue waves of energy start swirling around Garchomp. Garchomp then fired a light blue beam of energy.

The light blue beam of energy destroyed all the light blue stone pillars created by stone Edge and went to hit Aerodactyl.

Dactyl!!!

Aerodactyl was sent flying and crushed on the wall.

Boom!

Even the wall beneath Aerodactyl cracked and looked like the wall shatter at any time.

The wall was painted with Aerodactyl blood as Aerodactyl fall down on the ground. Aerodactyl already had lost his consciousness.

[Wow! What's a display of power. The mighty aerodactyl was defeated in just two moves.] The audience loudly cheered for Cynthia.

"Yeah!"

"Now only two more Pokémon and Cynthia will get 10 points."

[Aerodactyl is unable to battle.] The referee declared. Isaac gritted his teeth and took out another Pokeball. Although Aerodactyl was defeated, Isaac still had two other Pokémon that he trusted to defeat Garchomp.

While medical team came and took Aerodactyl for emergency attention. Another team came to repair the damaged walls.

The match continued as usual. For everyone this kind of thing was very normal.

[Michael, what Pokémon do you think Isaac is going to use next? Talented trainers like Isaac have managed to get this far by using only one Pokémon.]

[Jerry, I don't what Pokémon Isaac is going to bring out next. But you can tell from the confident look that this young man has something magical, a game changer.]

"Ninetales, came out." Ninetales is a fox-like Pokémon that possesses nine tails, hence its name. Resembling the nine-tailed kitsune fox of Japanese folklore, they are mainly covered in sleek, luxurious golden-white fur, while the tips of their nine tails are orange. On top of their head is a large tuft of hair, similar to its pre-evolved form though much more unruly and spiky. It has sinister red eyes which give it the ability to psychically control the minds of people and Pokémon. Its ears are pointed and distinctly fox-like, and it has slender legs with three-toed paws and no visible claws.

"Bring backs memories." Cynthia and Itsuki said at the same time. Cynthia had to fight Blaine's Ninetales to win the Cinnabar Badge. Even Blaine also felt little nostalgic looking at the current scene.

"Those two have came so far." Blaine sighed looking at the Ninetales.

"Ninetales use solar beam." With the defeat of his Aerodactyl, Isaac managed understood the hard truth about Garchomp power scale. Isaac didn't know how powerful Cynthia's other Pokémon was but he wanted to defeat her Garchomp using his all.

Ninetales body glowed faint yellow. Numerous yellow balls of energy started to appear and float around Ninetales as a larger ball of energy forms in front of his head and he then fires a yellow beam of energy at Garchomp.

"Garchomp counter with Dragon Claw." l. Light-green aura forms around both of Garchomp's hands and turned into claw-like shaped.

Garchomp rushed towards the yellow beam of energy that was heading towards him. Using the dragon claws, Garchomp kept cutting the yellow energy beam in half while Garchomp continued to charge forward.

In just second, Garchomp arrived in front of Ninetales while deflecting the solar beam using the dragon claw.

And the next second,

Ninetales eyes widened in fear as he trembled for a millisecond.

Boom!

The next second everyone saw Ninetales was flying up in the air. Garchomp dragon claw has made Ninetales fly 10 meters up in the air.

Bang!

When Ninetales fall down on the ground, it was then everyone realized that Ninetales, a level 38 Pokémon had fainted from one attack of Garchomp.

The whole stadium fell into silence for a second then burst into loud cheers while Isaac could only grit his teeths in frustration.

[Michael, can we even call that a battle? No offense, but Ninetales couldn't even survive one attack from Garchomp.]

[Jerry, Cynthia's Garchomp is so far the strongest Pokémon in this year's Indigo League. It's not that Ninetales was weak, it was rather Garchomp level was too high for Ninetales. Just look at the miserable conditions Ninetales in. I would say that letting Ninetales fight this match was a mistake or miscalculations from Isaac part.] The commentators words made Isaac even more angry. They were indirectly telling him to just quit this match, because his Pokémon are weak.

[Please take out your next Pokémon or you can choose to forfeit the match.] The referee remained Isaac.

Isaac took out another Pokeball while gritting his teeths in anger. Issac would rather fight a impossible battle than quitting. Isaac cared about his ego which he considered as honor more than his Pokemon.

"Come out Machoke." Seeing Isaac choosing a type fighting type Pokémon the crowd also knew that it was over for Isaac.

[Jerry, do you think a mid 4th order Pokémon can..... Rather should I say... Could defeat a Pokémon that power exceeds Mid 5th order Pokémon. Just comparing Garchomp with such weak Pokémon is an insult to Garchomp.] Isaac felt the commentators held grudges against him. Otherwise why would Michael and Jerry insult and mock Isaac.

Cynthia didn't whether to laugh or cry. Cynthia didn't wanted such easy and weak opponent. Cynthia was happy that she got to face a weak trainer like Isaac which has made things easier for her to get the top 10 position. A part of Cynthia was greatly disappointed as she was expecting to face strong opponents.

Itsuki closed his eyes with his right hand supporting his face. Itsuki was too bored to watch this kind of match.

Even the audience showed no reaction. Normally if the audience didn't liked something then they would boo and show negative reaction, but in case of Isaac the audience was also too bored to show any reaction to him.

"Itsuki are you feeling sleepy?" Serena whispered into his left ear with a look of concern. Itsuki opened his left eye and looked at Serena. Itsuki just nodded his head with a sleepy look.

'Itsuki must have not slept last night? He might have been too nervous for the Indigo League.' Serena wrongly assumed as she gently pulled his face and let his face rest on her left shoulder.

"What the....." Itsuki certainly wasn't expecting Serena to do that. Itsuki looked at Serena who now was watching the battle of Cynthia. Itsuki noticed her red cheeks and the slight smile that she tried to suppress.

Itsuki didn't wanted to take advantage of her but looking at her face from a close distance it felt like Serena looked even more beautiful, Itsuki didn't wanted to stop either. 'She smells so nice.' Itsuki closed his eyes and relaxed his body.

Grace, Serena's mother noticed what Itsuki and Serena was doing. She just smiled and pretended to not see anything.

Meanwhile,

"Garchomp use Dragon Breath and finish this already" Cynthia was beyond bored. She wanted to finish this expiry match which couldn't excite her in any way.

Just like previous times, Machoke was also sent flying and seek out medical attention as soon as he came to the battlefield.

Some people even thought that Isaac was deliberately getting his Pokemon asses whooped by Garchomp so that he can find a quick excuse to sell of his Pokémon.

[Winner of the 4th match Cynthia. Cynthia has got 10 points.] Cynthia didn't even waste another second in the battlefield and quickly walked away. While Isaac had no choice but to follow the nurse joy and look at his Pokémon.

[What a twisted one sided match it was. I have never seen such one sided match in my life.]

[ At some point I started to feel like Isaac had some kind of personal grudges against his Pokemon and was getting his Pokemon beaten by Garchomp. I don't know if any normal person would put a 4th order Pokémon in front of mightily god like 5th order Pokémon yet Isaac did it.]
