Overgrowth Mastered

Axel was using 'Mental communication' to talk with Talonflame. 

'Talonfalme, thanks for letting my Bagon fight with your Fletchling. It was able to learn and grow.'

'I have no problem with it. My child was also able to learn that it is not the most powerful Pokemon out here.'

'So, you know that we are not the natives of the island. We came here to explore. Can you tell me something about the aeus energy?'

'Oh you mean the mysterious energy we have here. We call it grand energy. Well, I don't know much about it but it is the type of energy that makes us strong. 

If you want to know more about it then you have to ask the higher ups.'

'Okay, can you take me to your higher ups?'

'I can but you will die. You have not been used to this type of energy. My family leader lives in the west side. But you can come to meet me there in the future.'

'Ok, I have heard that there are lot of resources that are found in this island. We came to know that there is fire type energy in the west, fairy type in the south and dragon type in the north. Is this true?'

'Yes, we call it wells like fire wells. You are true about that. It is a designated place where these type of energies are concentrated.'

'So, are there any other wells in this island?', asked Axel.

He was getting a lot of valuable information from this bird. Since he was communicating mentally, others could not hear it. He might be able to use it to his advantage.

'Yes, there are actually 6 of them in the island. There is a ground type well in east side, flying type well in the south and fighting type well in the north. The leader of this island is also also fighting type Pokemon.'

'Oh, who is the leader?'

'Sorry, I cannot tell you that. It is against the rules. But you can meet it if you go there.'

'Thanks for the info. Now can you tell me the exact location of these type of wells?', asked Axel. This was an important question. If he could know about it then all these wells could be his and his team.

'Sorry, I cannot tell you it. It is against the rules. I can point out the general directions of the wells though. If you humans happen to reach there, then there is a test and if you pass the test then you can claim those wells. However, the previous Pokemons should also get the share. These are all the rules that have been made by the higher ups. Don't ask me why they made it, even I don't know about it.'

Axel knew went on to ask the general direction of these wells and the group flew away.

"So, care to tell us what were you talking about?"

Axel told them everything except for the names of the new wells that he found out and their general directions. He wanted to somehow use it to his advantage.

He could get 2 wells if he won the battle. Fairy type well and one another type well. He wanted to get fighting type well.

Since the leader of this island was also a fighting type Pokemon, he thought that it would be good idea to get that well.

When Bagon was fighting with Fletchling, Axel discovered some crazy things about this aeus energy. First of all, that Fletchling was a freak of nature. 

When Bagon hit it with a 'Head butt', it didn't even struggle to stand up. It got up like it was having a normal Tuesday. This was not normal. 

Harry had said that the Pokemons were stronger than normal Pokemons in the outside world. However, they didn't know the specific reason as to why that was. They knew that it had something to do with aeus energy but they had not gotten to all the details. 

Axel could say for certain that it was due to aeus energy but this energy didn't effect its stats. Axel believed that the stats of wild Pokemon here were heightened due to aeus energy. But that was not the case. Its stats were normal. Its highest stat was agility which was C++ and it was very defensive.

Its reaction and flying ability was also very high. If it was a genius Pidgey, then Axel could have understood, but Fletchling were not known for having such flying speed and reaction ability like Pidgey. It also had very high attack for a Fletchling. 

Axel knew that all of these were happening due to its passive move 'Aeus energy' but since he had not caught even one of them, he could see the move description. 

Axel also felt that their potential were unusally high for a wild Pokemon. This must also be due to aeus energy. Axel could not be confirmed but he had his doubts.

After 7 days,

This had been happening for the last couple of days. However, there had been no other notification. Axel had also not felt any other things and the system was not saying anything.

What was this mysterious energy going to do to him? He wanted to know!!

 They were walking towards the further most part of the east side and today they were going to reach it after some hours. Axel could literally see the sea at the end of it. 

During these 7 days, the group had been able to sense and absorb these type of mysterious energies. None of them had caught any Pokemons for themselves. 

They met a lot of wild Pokemons during their journey. They also met an angry Charizard that made them ran all the way. It was one of the reason why they were so fast an assumed time.

After walking for some hours,

"Guys, I finally see the see. I want to go and swim in the sea.", shouted K as started to run towards the sea.

It had been 7 days and they were stuck inside the forest. The group was missing sea or plain area. Finally, they had reached the place. Axel could feel that aeus energy was a bit thick here.

He told the group to rest and then went to meditate again. He told his Pokemons to train. He had already set a list of training plans for all of his Pokemons. 

As he was meditating, he heard a notification from the system.

Venusaur has mastered its ability 'Overgrowth'. The effect of 'Overgrowth' would still be there even if recovers its health for 5 minutes.

Axel instantly stood up and walked towards Venusaur. He congratulated it for a job well done and also inspired Gyarados to do the same. 

Axel the started to look at the map again. The Talonflame had given him the general direction of ground type wells but the east side was very big. They didn't even come across it. They didn't even came accross any of the other trainers. 

Talonflame also said that these type of wells were very well hidden and they would have to pass a test to claim it. 

It was very weird but if that meant that they don't have to fight with strong Pokemons, then Axel was okay with it.

All of them meditated there for few hours. They needed to get used to aeus energy here. Only could they return back and go to the west side. However, Axel had other plans.

"Guys, we just came here. When we return, I suggest that we should go by that side.", said Axel pointing at a direction.

"Why?"

"I think we will find something interesting there. We are also 3 days faster than average time. It doesn't hurt to try.", said Axel.

All of them agreed. None of them had anything to do. Kate had been with Axel for 7 days now and she was surprised by some of Axel's habit.

She moved towards Ryker and asked, "Is he always a training freak like this?"

"Oh, you mean Axel? Yes, he is always like this. This is why he is stronger than us. I wanted to do same as him but I just can't follow the routine.", said Ryker.

"I heard that he even defeated Cynthia. Is this true?", asked Kate.

This time it was Lance who chipped in. Since, Lance knew that Axel had a thing for Kate, he was acting like a wingman. He had to do his bro job.

"Yes, you are right about that. I was there. His Charizard is very scary. Garchomp was permanently injured. I don't even know if it could recover from that injury."

Everyone from the prominent families had seen and heard of Cynthia's Garchomp. Even Kate. She had a chance to see it once and she could not believe that such a Pokemon could exist. It was too powerful. 

"So, he went easy on me huh?"

"You fought with Axel's Charizard?", asked Lance.

"Yes, I challenge by Charizard with his. I lost very badly."

"Oh, that is to be expected. Don't feel down. The crazy thing is, Charizard is not his most powerful Pokemon.", said Lance shaking his head. When he thought about the difference between him and Axel, he would always feel sad. He knew he might never catch up to him.

"Really? Then who is the most powerful Pokemon of Axel?", asked Kate in an excited voice.

"It is Shedinja."

"Shedinja? Really? Shedinja?", asked Kate in a shocked voice. Of course, she was shocked. Shedinja was considered to be one of the weakest Pokemon in existence. 

"Yes."

"You may be wrong Lance. I have also seen the power of his Shedinja but I think Charizard would be more powerful now.", commented Ryker.

This time K also joined the conversation.

"No, you are wrong in that Ryker. I briefly talked to him few months ago and then asked the same question. Axel answered that Shedinja is the most powerful Pokemon in his team.

That Shedinja is practically immortal. Axel said that he didn't use Shedinja against Cynthia's Charizard cause he felt that it would be an unfair fight."

For Kate, Axel was getting more mysterious. He looked like a simple guy. He was handsome and different with his silver colored hair but now she was finding a lot more than that.

Kate also felt a bit secured after hearing all these stories. This expedition was a bit risky. It was good to know that they had such a powerful trainer with them.

Lance was smiling from the inside. He felt that he was doing a very good job in being Axel's wingman. Axel had no idea about it but Lance was not going to give up.

Everyone followed Axel's instructions and then went to a different direction. This was the same direction, Talonflame had pointed it out and he wanted to see that ground type well.

After 2 days,

They faced some wild Pokemons but they were not so powerful. At most, they were elemental rank Pokemon. The most powerful Pokemon they had faced was that crazy Blastoise few days ago. It was a pseudo-king rank Pokemon.

Most of the wild Pokemon didn't even actively targeted them. Ryker wanted to find a powerful fire type Pokemon but he had not found one after the Talonflame group.

As others were walking Axel was looking here and there. He had been using his aura and psychic abilities to find out the resource well. He had been getting some hints and Beedrill was also helping it. However, for some reason, he just could not find it.

"Ahhh, Axel. Why are you looking here and there?", asked K.

"I just feel that the resources are here somewhere. Beedrill also feel the same. However, I just cannot find it. Can you guys also help?"
