S4E18: Departure

"I will." replied Foxx as the two of them had gotten to their feet and went down the stairs to get the rest of Foxx's things to which he added her gift to before the three of them went into the dinning room to find a full breakfast spread to which there eyes went wide at all of the wonderful food.

"Come dine kiddos before it gets cold or Fantina and Foxx have to leave." called Professor Ivy at them motioning for them to take a seat at the table with her, Fantina and the other aids.

"Thanks Professor this is a wonderful send off." replied Foxx with a smile as he and Silvia took the only open seats which just happened to be right next to each other. As for Joy she leaped up on his lap and let out a short yawn.

"So Foxx you've decided to come with me to the Sinnoh Region." called Fantina as she began to make her own plate.

"You know Silvia you could go with them if you waned to. I bet you and Foxx enjoyed each other's company on your journeying here that it would be nice to possibly continue that journey." suggested Professor Ivy as she took made herself a plat.

"No, Professor my place is here at your side for now." replied Silvia with a smile as she looked at Foxx and made her own plate before adding, "Besides Foxx is going to meet up with his girlfriend it would only be awkward for her if I'm there."

"If I know Dawn she would more then welcome you as a friend as well but the choice is your dear." replied Fantina with a smile.

"I know and I think for now me and Leafeon need to grow closer together and train a bit more before we leave our island home." replied Silvia before taking a bite of her food.

"Then maybe when we come back this way heading for the Alola Islands you can join us then." replied Foxx with a grin as he began to eat his food while also sharing some of it with Joy who was sitting on his lap.

"Oh ummm that would be nice but only if I'm ready to leave the island that is." nervously replied Silvia as she continued to eat her food.

Now once everyone had finished eating Foxx and Fantina gathered their things and headed for the docks. Silvia and Professor Ivy both escorted them there to give them both one last friendly goodbye. It was indeed a special moment for all of them.

"It was good getting to spend this time with you my, friend" called Professor Ivy as her and Fantina held hands and Foxx could've swore there was a hesitation when she said friend as if she wanted to say something else.

"Yes it was and we really should d this more often friend." replied Fantina with a smile as she looked the professor in the eyes and Foxx again had heard the hesitation with the word friend as well as the sparkle in their eyes.

There was indeed something else going on between them that confused and baffled him some but he didn't have time to really do anything as he was tightly embraced by Silvia who was no longer able to hold back her sadness. Thus as she embraced him she began to cry softly on his shoulder not wanting to disturb anyone around them.

"I really don't want you to leave. I know your heart is with Dawn and I could never change that yet my heart is still with you and I want you at my side always yet I know I have to let you go in order for you to be happy." whimpered Silvia into his shoulder.

"Silvia we've talked about this. About how I feel about you and though I will miss you all I feel about you is just as a friend or maybe a sister." sighed Foxx as he hugged her trying to comfort her some.

"I know, it's just that I really miss you and really want you to be happy but I also want you with me. I'm sorry I'm so selfish i not wanting to share." sniffed Silvia as she separated from the embrace to look him in the eyes before giving him a half smile.

"I have the same feelings for Dawn as does Joy with me. Thus I know what you're going through and I will miss you some but remember my journey will bring me back this way as well as home from time to time thus just have Professor Oak keep you in the loop." encouraged Foxx with a smile.

"Oh, Joy I almost forgot." replied Silvia as she knelt down before her and picked her up into a hug before adding, "Now you be safe and keep our knuckle headed crush safe and out of trouble."

"Vul, Vul." replied Vulpix with a smile.

"That's not true I stumble into trouble it does not follow me." teasingly huffed Foxx with his arms crossed.

"Vul?" asked Joy with her head tilted to one side.

"What do you mean about that? Their my parents they are not trouble." replied Foxx with his hands on his hips.

"Okay you three it's time for us to be on our way." called Fantina as she released Professor Ivy's hand before grabbing her bags and boarding the ship.

Had they been holding hands this whole time? Had he seen that right for it almost looked as if their fingers were even interlocked with each other as they deprecated? Was there more there then the simple friendship of which they declared they shared."

"Bye you two." called Silvia as she set Joy ack down to which Joy gave her a lick on the cheek before returning to Foxx's side.

"I'm not going to lick your cheek." teased Foxx as he shook her hand once more before grabbing his own bag and following Fantina onto the ship to continue onto the next part of his journey. To a place where he's never been yet at least h'd know two people there for he'd have Fantina and Dawn with him. This was the beginning of a new adventure.
