Ch 10: Goldenrod city

But before he goes and look around the city. He decided that it will be good to, book a hotel room first.

As one of the biggest and most popular city in Johto. It sometime become hard to find affordable hotel around.

Most of the time it was filled up with visitors and what not. League trainers can stay in the Pokecenter for the night.

So, the hotel was mostly used by business man or tourist that often come to visit this place.

After some time following the guide that he bought from me store, that details most of the city in the map.

He with some difficulty, finally found a hotel to checked into. Since the hotel was a little expensive, the security was good. Mike put down his small bag that he was carrying with him. He was going to buy one with bigger space than his one.

With all that is done. He begins to look around, to find the place he was looking for. He didn't have to look very hard, it was very clear from the rest of the building.

The store is many times bigger then the town stores. It was about 5 storey high. With exquisite degine that was different than other around it.

He look around the place with wander, as there was many people buying or looking. This place not overly crowded but, there were many people.

The ground floor seems to be the parking lot. You can park there car, bicycles or motorcycles if you have any.

As the biggest store in the city, this was mainly visited by rich customers like trainers and business man.

The first floor was a general store. Where normal Pokémon related items can be found. This floor was for buying PokeBalls, evolution items etc.

The second floor is for electronic appliances. Mike come to this floor after buying a new trainer bag. It cost him 200,000 Pokedollars. It has a 30 cubic meter space.

Mike then bought a non- Rotom washing machine that was able to fit inside his new bag, but was well worth it at 3,000 Pokedollars.

He also found a wate tank with self expanding, highly durable for his house that a water type Pokemon could be fill up with comfortably. The tank was abel to store about 5,000 Lts of water, it cost Mike 2,200 Pokedollars.

There was also module for the water tank, he added the water heater for the cost of an additional 300 Pokedollars.

He also buy a computer setup, as well as a phone that cost him a total of 1,500 Pokedollars. He was also going to buy a Pokemon power generator. Though there wasn't any.

He also check the 3rd floor as well. The electronic appliances were in 2nd and 3rd floor in total.

There he also didn't find the thing he was looking for. So, he ask the receptionist when she finished her checking and give him his payment receipt.

"I want to ask, where can I find the Pokémon power generator, and also looking for purchase a milking machine for Miltanks. Do you have them available?" Mike inquired.

"Of course we have them. You have to go to the 5th floor to buy them." The lady with a smile as she then begin to promote those products.

He after getting the knowledge needed, he start to get there to buy the thing.

Mike come to the 5th floor, this floor is only has sell special products. The one sitting here is the whole shop manager. So after hearing what he wants the manager then took him to give a demonstruction of the products.

"Our milking machine is highly effecient. Many Miltank ranch in the area purchase from us. Even the formar Gym leader Milton has use our product before, for his Miltank farms. Each machine can milk up to 5 Miltank simultaneously, with gentle pressure that won't harm the Miltank." The manager explained proudly.

Well they do like there Gym leader in Goldenrod city. When he first enter the shopping area he saw many figurines of Whitneys Pokemon like Miltank and Clefairy.

Kids like those Pokemon figurines more, as they excitedly buy them. Those shop owners also promote there products with Whitneys name.

Mike then asked the receptionist." How much is this machine and the generator?"

"Well the Pokemon generator was for 10,000 Pokedollars and the milking machine, It's 40,000 Pokedollars, since you are new to the city I will also include several large capacity of metal tank for milk storage, hows that sound," the manager offered with a smile.

"Great, could you arrange for delivery to the Green wood towns Mike farm!" Mike agree to the price, but the machine is larger and heavy. He couldn't transport it himself so he needs with delivery.

"Certainly, I grantee delivery within 5 days."

The manager readily accept, knowing that such large and heavy machine usually need delivery service.

After leaving the 5th floor as he was already here. He come to the 4th floor. This is a very also a very special floor.

Where you can find TMs and learning machine's. He was going to look around to see if he find any powerful moves.

Usually the most powerful don't get to the public, as they were use internally. There can be some rare TM that can be found.

He did find some moves that he bought. He brought Protect, Substitute, Double team, Shadow claw, Bullet seed, Metal claw. The total amount was 80,000 Pokedollars.

He was going to let Meganium learn Protect, Substitute and Bullet seed. She can than help other Pokémon learn the moves.

With Skill panel if they can grasp even a single level he can put the level up.

Double team for Pidgeot, Shadow claw was for Heracross and Metal claw was for Sandslash.

Pokemon then can help other with the needed move. With his help they can learn very fast. So the more new move his Pokemon can learn the better.

It will help him train new move for his Pokémon. He was looking forward to the day when Meganium can learn the Hyper beam move.

This way it will be like having every Pokemon of his have Hyper beam. With all that was needed to be done. He come out from the store.

He then eventually went to a cute-sy restaurant with pink ribbon everywhere. The receptionist strongly recommend this, after hearing that this is his first time visiting the city. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pretty jolly and the food tested pretty decent, but especially looks good on top of taste.

When he was going towards the infamous Goldenrod tunnel, runs from the southwestern side of the city to the northwestern area, with a branch leading to the Store that he was on through the Underground Path. He didn't know that previously that it was connected with the underground.

You can find groomers in the tunnel, will help groom trainer Pokémon that increase friendship, for a small fee.

This path contains barber shop, Herb Shop, and many shop selling some items that the owner found or selling second hand to be simply resold for profit.

When moving you can see in the city center the radio tower.

It located at the west end of the main east-west path through the city, is the source of all Pokégear broadcasts in Johto. An antenna on top of the tower transmits three radio programs daily, with a fourth program being aired between 6 P.M. and 12 A.M. every night.

The building has three studios spread over five floors. The Radio Tower broadcasts numerous programs daily,

When he was getting closer to the underground tunnel he spots a flower shop to the opposite side of the road. It has many beautiful flowers in it.

He was thinking about buying some for the farm. With this he can also look for the bee type Pokemon to settle down. Then he can have honey to sell if he can produce.

When he open the door he saw many different types of flowers, but he found a very unique type of flower. The Gracidea flower, it can help the Mythical Pokemon Shaymin to unlock it's sky from.

After learning his interest in the Gracidea flower and want to by the seed, the owner happily sold him some seeds so he can plant them later in his farm.

He then get back to his hotel for the day. He will visit the radio tower and the Gym tomorrow.

He didn't have much time left today. Also he has to feed his Pokémon, and he heard that the Gym was closed today. He visit the area where bigger Pokémon can be released.

So he released his Pokemon, as they can't get out much in the city. They should be hungry by now.

Once release for her PokeBall, Meganium run toward him and give a little tackle as then she starts to snuggle up to him.

"There, there! Sorry I couldn't take you with me. When we leave tomorrow after visiting the last place. You can also be out of your PokeBall." Mike said as he was petting Meganium.

He then hand them there portion of the meal so they can have there lunch and dinner altogether.

After that he put them back to there PokeBall, although Meganium was reliquent.
