23. Sister trouble

Robert was standing in front of a building that looked like a big apartment building or a hotel even. After he left Margaret's office an instructor was waiting outside the door as Margret said.

As he was led to the dorm, he found out the building was strictly for the head instructors themselves. It appeared most spent little time in this building, but it was still off-limits to anyone not invited in by a head instructor. Even most instructors hadn't been inside before.

Robert Shook his head and threw his wandering thoughts aside. He then stepped inside and entered a small lobby with a reception desk and a hall entrance on either side. "Hello, how may I help." Behind the counter was a young lady who looked about 14. Robert tilted his head in confusion and walked over, "I'm here to be assigned my room but, aren't you a student as well."

The young lady smiled a little at Roberts response, "you must be one of the first years that just arrived. I'm a fourth-year and for now at least, I work the reception here. Once you are a third-year you can start doing jobs for the island and get paid in league credits. You will know more if you get there. Now, what's your name and I'll tell you what your room number is."

"I'm Robert Leone." The lady smiled and turned to the computer sitting on the desk beside her. "Ok, Robert Leo-" halfway through typing his last name the lady suddenly froze and looked at Robert strangely. Robert tilted his head in confusion, "is there something the matter?" The lady hesitated a little before asking, "do you perhaps know the sisters Sasha and Stephanie Leone?"

"Of course, they are my sisters. Do you know them?"

"Haha, I wish I knew them, but I definitely know of them. I could even say that I knew of you before this as well." Seeing Robert looked even more confused now, she giggled a little before continuing. "Well, your sisters are a bit famous here on the island. They are fifth-year now as I'm sure you know. What you might not know is that they make up two of the three top fifth years. The sisters themselves have always been even in strength and constantly alternate between second and third place. Even the person in first place who is stronger than some instructor's, has never been able to relax with the sisters constantly nipping at her heels."

Robert couldn't help staring wide-eyed hearing this. Margret had told him that his sisters were doing 'pretty good' here. It seemed that her version of pretty good was very different from most people. Even the top student in the entire Junior League couldn't relax because of them.

The receptionist enjoyed his shocked look a little and then continued, "your sisters are also very hardworking and don't spend much time socialising with others, but there is one thing that is almost guaranteed to get them talking when mentioned." She then sent a mischievous smile Robert's way. Robert had a bad feeling seeing the look she gave him.

"That would be you." Robert was expecting it but his face still crumbled when he heard that. He knew his sisters were very doting on him when they were younger, but he had hoped they grew out of it. "All you would have to do is mention their little brother and both sisters would talk about how amazing he is and that when he got here, he would become the number one student before he even made it to the fifth year."

The receptionist made sure to wave her hands about and exaggerate as much as possible. The more she spoke the more Robert cringed. Those damn Brothercon sisters, he was annoyed when he thought about Brock flirting with his sisters but now, he almost wished he would do it more, almost.

The young lady seemed to be enjoying looking at Robert as he gritted his teeth. "There was a bit of a commotion when they were third years that brought your name to fame even more." Robert couldn't help but shudder a little hearing this. "There is a trainer called Brock in the same year as your sisters who has always been ranked fourth, some say he is only fourth because he doesn't want to challenge your sisters. Anyway, Brock has had his eyes on your sisters since they first all arrived at the island and constantly chased after them."

Robert Clenched his teeth and fists, how dare he harass his sisters. Robert never had siblings in his past life and cherished them very much in this one. While it seemed like the sisters were protective of him the truth was that Robert was far more protective of his sisters.

The girl grinned seeing his reaction. There was something that she didn't mention, whenever someone tried blowing off what they said about their brother or insulted him, they were often met with a sound beating. Going off Robert's reaction he seemed just like them.

"After being chased for over two years the sisters finally ran out of patience and made a deal with Brock. Oh, by the way, my name is Lara." Roberts's face twitched when Lara suddenly interrupted to introduce herself. Robert was starting to understand that this girl enjoyed causing trouble, although he really couldn't say much about other people causing trouble.

"Would you tell me what deal my sisters made with Brock, please Lara." Lara enjoyed Roberts twitching face a little more before she continued, "the deal was that if Brock could still defeat you after you finish your five years in the Junior League then they would both marry him."

Robert's head was now visibly throbbing. That bastard actually wanted to marry BOTH his sisters! Robert had some goodwill towards Brock because he loved the anime in his past life, But not anymore! he wouldn't even tolerate him taking one of his sisters but he wanted both!

Lara watched as Robert's face contorted in anger and went red while his forehead throbbed. Lara did indeed have a love for causing trouble and she had got disturbingly good at it while managing to somehow keep herself out of it.

As she watched Robert a strange glow showed in her eyes, she had a feeling that this boy would be able to provide her with a lot of fun. "Oh, I almost forgot" Lara then quickly went to the computer tapped at it a few times then looked back at Robert and handed him a key card. "Your room number is 104, here is the key. Your things should already be there. Have a good day."

Robert couldn't help his brow twitching at Lara's sudden professional demeanour. He knew she was trying to stir up trouble but couldn't ignore this either. Robert grumbled out a goodbye Before heading towards his room.

After asking for directions a couple of times he found his room. Robert held the key card to the panel beside the door and heard the door click and walked in. after he did, he was a little surprised to see someone else inside already.

Hearing the door, the boy inside turned slightly and saw Robert standing in the doorway. "I guess you're my new roommate, just make sure you don't get in my way and we will get along fine." Robert already wasn't in a good mood and now he was being treated like this by his roommate. He was starting to get over all of these arrogant, stuck up, now it all kids thinking that they're better than everyone else.

"You're already in my way, so move." Robert then stormed into the room grumpily and headed towards the other unoccupied bed where his pack was sitting. The other boy raised his brow and took a proper look at Robert, "Hey you're the kid that caused all the trouble at the opening ceremony. I wouldn't let all that go to your head."

Robert's fuse was already running short. He turned and stared down at his new roommate. He realised it was someone he knew, or more knew of. It was Shigeru Oak. This did nothing for his currently building temper even if it was the fabled Blue.

"I would try and say the same for you, but I'd say you have already let your perceived reputation get to your head." Shigeru looked at Robert in surprise. The only person who ever really stood up to him before was Satoshi, and even he wasn't usually so fiery about it.

Still, Shigeru didn't pay too much attention to it. "Whatever, you can boast all you want now. I'll see if you have any real ability when we start tomorrow." Shigeru then ignored Robert and walked out of the room. Robert couldn't help snorting a little before going to unpack some of his things.

After he was done, he pulled out a device that looked like a touchscreen phone. This was something that all students at the Junior League received. The instructor that led him to the dorms handed it to him.

This Device had many uses from keeping track of someone's credits to navigating the island.

Robert was currently checking where to get himself some food. It had been a while since they had breakfast on the boat and he was starving. Robert soon found the mess hall on the map and headed out.

The hall wasn't far and found he wasn't the only one feeling hungry. As Robert headed inside the hall he noticed a lot of the kids were whispering and pointing in his direction. He was expecting this but still couldn't help sighing a little.

"Hey, I know you like to make things grand but don't you think earlier was a little too much."

"Sigh, you know that I really would rather things not be so grand, it just always seems to happen to me." Robert then grinned and looked over to see Joel standing beside him. "haha, that's what makes it so fun to tease you about it." Robert couldn't help deflating a little hearing his reply to which Joel just laughed more and dragged him over to get their food.
