But i watched you fall,

"I couldn't do anything, my hands were tied,"

They were not,

I had a choice,

I could have broken your fall,

But I chose not to,

I watched you fall from the sidelines,

I am the same person you chose to trust,

Yet I shake your ladder as you climb,

Hoping you fall,

You flew too close to the sun,

I promised to guide you,

I did,

Just in the wrong direction,

Now you're burning,

I will keep standing here to watch,
