By the next instance a pinkish red coloured body less blob of consciousness regained its senses, and what it could perceive was a large, soft, and cushy seeming mound that covered the entirety of its view.
The blob being none other than Dan.
'It seems reincarnation really is true, but it is false to say that one would get to witness the process of being reincarnated, or it may just be my inexperience in this matters? Who know? Anyway, have I already been reborn? Am I supposed to drink breastmilk now?' Dan thought as he gazed at the right mound veiled by a semi-transparent veil, under where a pink areola was visibly hidden.
Masterfully removing the veil, he took the nipple into his mouth while his hands enjoyed the mound's cushy feeling as he sucked in something sweet and warm; his consciousness dazed as if relishing the feeling of inexplicably warm and sweet taste in his mouth that soon travelled down through his throat and entered his stomach before entering his very existence and settling there.
After snapping out of that fulfilling daze, Dan felt something was wrong since, 'Are these teeth I feel? And aren't a baby's senses supposed to be groggy, why is mine so clear? And-'
"Oh my~" A divine voice trickled his ears, snapping him out of his reverie, only to get him dazed once again. The voice sounded so divine that it made him feel rejuvenated just by hearing to it, as the feeling of freedom and tranquillity soon engulfed him whole, and
SNAP!
A snap sounded in his ears, snapping him out of his stupor. With a jolt, he 'sat' straight and gazed around him, finding nothing but an open field adorned by thick blanket of grass while the cloudless skies were seen filled with shooting stars, numbering in millions, if not in billions.
In arms of whom he sat was none other than a giant woman's! She was so big that he, as a grown man who was a bit taller than the average, seemed like an infant in her arms, hence his earlier confusion and thoughts were justified.
Other than the woman's giant figure,
She was beautiful.
Not just beautiful, but instead she was what one could call a;
Heavenly beauty!
And that word by no means would be an exaggeration!
Instead it would much rather be demeaning her DIVINE beauty.
At that divine sight, Dan's heart thumped against his heart as if wanting to tear through the confines that bound it within his body…..
Or so he felt.
Which was nothing short for a subconscious delusion as he was in an ethereal form, even though he was conscious enough to attain his human-like form, though subconsciously.
He was so dazed by the woman's beauty that he didn't even spare a glance at the other blobs of conscious the woman had collected to enjoy her leisure time by personally reading their stories, instead of letting her planetary domain consume their memories before sending them to live new lives as per their accumulated karma, which even she was unable to peer into.
After staying dazed for an whole eternity which passed by in a mere instant, Dan snapped out of it and appraised her figure. She, with short golden blonde hair and similar but much brighter golden irises that'd daze any and every species and race, donned a semi-transparent misty veil over her body, personating a goddess from the Greek mythology. She gazed down at Dan with a beautiful soul charming smile that was evinced through her profoundly amused eyes.
"This is my first time stumbling upon an existence whose ego is strong enough to wake up before the process of being sent to be reincarnated~" She mused and Dan who had been appraising and appreciating her beauty, quickly collected himself since it seemed like the beauty in front of him was in the mood to have a conversation.
"That feels rather great to know." Dan stated with a charming smile that was naturally overshadowed by the woman's; of course, only if compared. But if not, his charm wasn't anything to scoff at either, if his self confidence is taken into account, then his charm in and itself had a certain allure to it.
"So, sugar, can you please tell me where I am?" Dan asked as his gaze wandered off of her, and when his gaze landed on one of the blob floating around them; his sclera blackened as the life of a Saintess whose features were similar but were much blander compared to the woman holding him, flooded his consciousness and ended with the Saintess being sacrificed to the demon god, whom she had defended the world's population from.
"Huchk, haaa!!!" Dan snapped out of it when the memoir ended, the Saintess' life as a Saint now etched onto his consciousness, while his ethereal figure shuddered in….
RAGE.
The pain she had felt as her body was eaten alive by the demon god was much lighter than the pain she felt from the betrayal she experienced by the people she protected till her death, while constantly being in pain of bearing the burden of defending her world against the entity whom she was sacrificed to.
Experiencing the memoir from the Saintess' perspective…. It was just,
Sad.
But the reason Dan felt rage rather than sadness was because that woman, the Saintess didn't resent anybody, not even the demon god who ate her alive.
"Such bullshit…." Dan cursed under his breath as his gaze shifted to the one next to the Saintess'.
"What are these for?" Dan asked he turned back to face the divine beauty, whose mound he had taken into his mouth was once again veiled.
"To read~" She replied, watching his actions in amusement because from what she knew, having experienced a memoir of somebody else's, consciousness of two were supposed to fight for control, involuntarily, but the man in front of her was alright, not just alright, he was acting as if nothing worth mentioning had even happened and as if the memories he had just 'experienced' was just a book written by an author.
"You read such bat-shit?"
"I have nothing better to do" She replied casually, while her thoughts wandered. Speaking with somebody other than herself felt odd, and from what she could tell from having experienced lives of more than billions, the man she was speaking to was uniquely different.
She, as a goddess, being treated as if she was nothing more than another woman, felt…. Good.
