Isekai Invasion races…
There are a lot of races in the game, from the easiest to the hardest to play. This page was made to help newer players get some kind of understanding about the races in the game and help them decide on which one is best for them
Easy
Your reputation for these starts at 0. No one knows you nor cares about your existence or opinion.
- Humans are the most abundant race in the world and live almost everywhere. Their natural traits are being adaptable, and having High "intelligence", and there are a lot of them. If you
if choose this race you will be accepted almost anywhere there is a human settlement.
Their negative traits of humans are their greed to expand their territories with no thought about other races. Their power growth rate is low and they aren't inherently magic taking longer to learn magic skills.
What that means is when doing physical or mental training Their Body stat growth rate is Low and their mind stat growth rate is Low.
Their starting stats start balanced but can change as one level up. They get 5 free status points per level
Their base stats look like this
{Strength:5 Agility:5 Dexterity:5 Perception:5 Endurance:5} {Body= 25} body stat growth rate is +4 stat gain per hour of exercise
{Intelligence:5 Wisdom:5 Willpower:5 Sense:5 Focus:5} {Mind = 25} Mind Stat growth rate is +4 stat gain per hour of mental exercise.
+4 to a stat sounds like a lot but they get +1 stat every 15 minutes of proper training. You can't half-ass it and expect to get stats. The actual amount of time it takes depends on how good you are at it.
This sounds good and all but the downside is that the higher the stat is the harder and longer it takes to increase. There is also a maximum stat gain per level for humans in the body and mind stat it's + 8 per level. so starting off a human trains Strength from the base of 5 the max would be 8 at level one. To increase stat gains you need to level up, each level-up increases the maximum stats one can get through training by 8.
However one can mess up the training limit with the Free stat points by adding them to the stats early. And this would mess up the training stat gains. Like if you increase your Strength of 5 with the Free stat points at level one to 10 you wouldn't be able to train that stat because it exceeds the training level limit.
They also start with a Fame stat of 500 and an infamous stat of 0. These two stats exist at the same time you can be infamous and famous at the same time but doing that is almost impossible and your fame is usually higher than your infamy.
-Dwarf: Dwarfs are the second most abundant race but prefer to live in mountainous regions. Living in and on the mountains, they call their homes. Their natural traits are that they are born sturdier than humans and have better fire resistance. Most people think there dumb but their intelligence isn't any lower than humans. They prefer to dig holes, drink and make things out of what they find in the ground.
Their negative traits is that they don't like outsiders even if that outsider is another dwarf they won't let them in easily unless you got some good bear then they might let you in they are also very loud and almost always smell like alcohol, dirt, or burnt.
Their Body stat growth rate is Medium and their magic is worse than humans their mind stat growth rate is very low.
Their starting stats start off leaning toward the body stat but can change as one level up. They get 5 free status points per level
Their base stats look like this
{Strength:8 Agility:3 Dexterity:6 Perception:6 Endurance:7} {Body= 30} body stat growth rate is +5 stat gain per hour of exercise
{Intelligence:5 Wisdom:3 Willpower:6 Sense:1 Focus:5} {Mind = 20} Mind Stat growth rate is +3 stat gain per hour of mental exercise.
Dwarfs have a higher training limit for their Body stats and lower for their Mind stats. Their body training limit at level one is 10 and their Mind is 6
They also start with a Fame stat of 400 and an infamous stat of 100. These two stats exist at the same time you can be infamous and famous at the same time but doing that is almost impossible and your fame is usually higher than your infamy.
Normal
reputation for these ones vary but are usually around the low side of -150
-Elf's: Elves are posh assholes. They are the makers of magic and magic tools and feel like they are above every other race. In my opinion, there is nothing good about them. But to be fair I have to say some good and some bad things about them so here we go.
They don't like any other race; they only let others see their cities just to show off what they have. And always have their noses in the air. Their negative traits are that they have all this amazing magic and machines but refuse to share their innovations with the world and prefer to live in their flying cities. Also, good luck learning any magic playing as one they can learn any magic easily but as a player, you will start in a human city and human mages don't like elves at all.
Their Body stat growth rate is very low and their magic is way better than humans their mind stat growth rate is medium.
Their starting stats start off leaning toward the Mind stat but can change as one levels up. They get 3 free status points per level
Their base stats look like this
{Strength:2 Agility:5 Dexterity:4 Perception:6 Endurance:3} {Body= 20} body stat growth rate is +3 stat gain per hour of exercise
{Intelligence:8 Wisdom:5 Willpower:4 Sense:6 Focus:7} {Mind = 30} Mind Stat growth rate is +5 stat gain per hour of mental exercise.
Elves have a higher training limit for their Mind stats and lower for their Body stats. Their Mind training limit at level one is 10 and their Body is 6
They also start with a Fame stat of 200 and an infamous stat of 300. These two stats exist at the same time you can be infamous and famous at the same time but doing that is almost impossible and your fame is usually higher than your infamy unless you start as an asshole I mean an Elf.
Other than the three main races some monsters are playable
Orc: this race is what one would think of when they say dumb, strong, and honorable there's a misconception about these guys being evil. The evil ones are the Pig Orcs.
I don't know how it happened but there are two different types of orcs. Normal Orcs do tend to attack and kill humans but that's just how things are. Their race is considered neutral and will attack if provoked. The problem is that most "good" and "Evil" races want the body parts of Orcs for various reasons, some are for magic, and others for medicine. Pig Orcs have really good meat.
Any Orc no matter the type isn't allowed in human settlements and can only go to Orc ones. Because of that, the player will spawn in an orc settlement. But the Orc Settlement is in a more dangerous place than the Human one so be sure to train up before venturing outside or you will die immediately. Although this is harder than playing an elf it's easier than the ones that are actually considered hard. If a difficulty rating was given I would put High-medium for it.
The negative traits are self-explanatory.
Their Body stat growth rate is extremely High and their magic is worse than humans their mind stat growth rate is Extremely low so low in fact it's a surprise some of them can even use magic. However, unlike other races, their Willpower stat has no limit restriction for training; this is because of the god they worship. However, the name of the god has long been forgotten by the orcs but they still have their blessing.
Their starting stats start off leaning heavily towards the body stat but can change as one level up. They get 3 free status points per level
Their base stats look like this
{Strength:10 Agility:6 Dexterity:5 Perception:5 Endurance:10} {Body= 36} body stat growth rate is +9 stat gain per hour of exercise.
They are stronk.
{Intelligence:3 Wisdom:1 Willpower:7 Sense:0 Focus:3} {Mind = 14} Mind Stat growth rate is +1 stat gain per hour of mental exercise.
Orcs have a higher training limit for their Body stats and lower for their Mind stats. Their body starting training limit at level one is 25 and their Mind is 3
They also start with a Fame stat of 100 and an infamous stat of 400. These two stats exist at the same time you can be infamous and famous at the same time but doing that is almost impossible and your fame is usually higher than your infamy.
Hard/why:
If found out to be one of these your reputation will drop by about -300 or more depending on if you hid it at first or not.
There are several races that are considered "evil" however a few of them are playable by players.
The first is a Corrupted human Human whose stats are the same as a normal human but they get various bonuses if they sacrifice others to the demon they follow. The bonus depends on the demon. To become a Corrupted human you need to start as a human. So have fun figuring that out because I have no idea how to do it. They also start to lose stats if they don't do their rituals on time.
They are seen as evil and will be attacked when discovered your infamy stat will increase by 1100 and your fame will drop to 0.
Undead:
You can become an undead however your stats will change depending on the type. You need to find out how to do that yourself. good luck in your new unlife.
They are seen as evil and will be attacked when discovered your infamy stat will increase by 1200 and your fame will drop to 0.
Half-Demon:
It is possible to start your player Career as a Half Demon. But there is a big problem with that. One is you are part demon and will start with an Infamy state of 500 and a fame stat of 0. But because you're infamy stats does not exceed 1000 you will not be attacked on-site. and even if you get that Infamy stat to 0 people will still treat you poorly.
But you still have other problems like not being able to create a guild, joining a guild will damage their reputation by 80% for letting you join them, and Hiring NPCs is impossible with an infamy stat of 500 and a reputation of -300.
you can also forget getting Any quests as that is almost impossible the best you can do is try and get tasks, and finally all NPCs will know your half-demon because you can't hide it. The reason you can't hide it is that all demons and half demons have colored triangles under their eyes and the moment someone sees them there favorably with you will drop from 0 neutral to agitated -200. So picking this race is gonna be a bad time.
But what there's more you get to start outside the city walls and get to face the monsters with zero preparation as all players don't start with any weapons or useful gear.
The good news is that if you can get your Fame stat up to 100 and get to level 20 you will be able to start your own guild. Also, most problems with this Race can be overcome with enough determination and about 3 years of hard work. Also by 3 years, I mean 3 IRL years and not in-game years. The game has a time speed faster than IRL. So 1 year IRL is 3 years in-game.
Also, demons won't like you either.
your base stats also start much lower than a normal human's. If you were a real half demon you wouldn't have such low stats this is mostly for game balance. Real half-demons and demons become stronger with age and you can't age in-game.
The good news is your potential in body and mind is High. one more thing they also have the adaptive trait that normal humans have.
Their starting stats are the worst starting stats one could have. And They get 2 free status points per level
Their base stats look like this
{Strength:3 Agility:3 Dexterity:3 Perception:3 Endurance:3} {Body= 15} body stat growth rate is +7 stat gain per hour of exercise
{Intelligence:3 Wisdom:3 Willpower:3 Sense:3 Focus:3} {Mind = 15} Mind Stat growth rate is +7 stat gain per hour of mental exercise.
Their training limit for all stats is 15 however getting there will be a challenge if you don't get to the tutorial island.
Now let's talk about the tutorial island. It's the first place you have to go if you wanna play this game. Why you ask because leveling up is locked for all players until they get there and it is where you can learn the basics of fighting and how the skills and spells work. You just need to find a tutorial island pass and rip it then off you go, to get the one you need to complete 6 Qwest or 600 Tasks.
This is the basics you need to know before playing the game. Now I gotta go. I need to grind and good luck to all future players. Also, don't play as elves if you do, we can't be friends.
Is 2,389 words too much for a chapter? i did that by accident when i was writing this in-world article and so i'm gonna try around 1,000 words and not 2,000
