New house

Both of them got out of his car and looked at the building. 

" You are so lucky to get the flat to stay at this place. It means your company is very renowned for giving a luxurious flat to a new employee…" Jake commented observing the surroundings. 

" Company is a renowned one but the flat is only given to a few employees as per their designation. Being a personal secretary to the CEO, I got this opportunity. And it is the one reason I joined this job to save my income and spend it on Aunt Garry's medical expenses " she explained.

" You are very thoughtful. But your job is a bit complicated as you have to work whenever you get a call from the company,  " Jake said.

She sighed and nodded her head. " No pain, no gain," she said.

" Before the truck comes with our stuff, it's better if we go and see the new flat, " Garry said, still sitting in the car. Ava smiled at her and Jake opened the door of his car for Garry to get down.

Ava checked the flat number in the document and found that her flat was on the last floor of the building. Everyone took the elevator and reached the flat. They observed only two flats on one floor. She noticed the neighbouring flat on the floor is very huge and luxurious. She unlocked the door and entered inside her new flat. Then Garry and Jake followed her inside. 

As soon as they entered, they noticed a huge living room with a small couch, two bedrooms and small kitchen. The flat was provided with basic amenities. 

" Wow….the flat is spacious…" Garry stated.

" Then I can think ….you liked it…." Ava asked her with a smile.

" Yeah….it's good…." Garry said.

Meanwhile, three men entered with the packed boxes into the flats. They unloaded the boxes one by one in the living room. Ava checked the boxes whether it was delivered properly or not then she paid the bill to the packers and movers.

Just then, Jake said, " I have to go….now…" 

" I think ...you have no classes or lab today! Then why! " She raised her eyebrows.

" I am starving and you have no sense to feed your guest who helped you …" Jake said playfully.

She gave a serious look. She thought, " Before arranging the things in respective places better to fill their stomachs"

" No more cooking for today. We can order the food…" she informed her and opened her mobile to place the food order.  She placed an order for three pizzas, sandwiches and french fries.

" Atlast you did a good job by not preparing food by your hands. Or else someone has to admit us to the hospital because of food poisoning…." Jake teased her.

" How dare you! " She yelled at him.

" I am telling the truth….Ava. If you started preparing food, I could have escaped from this place…" he teased more.

" You…" saying she took the water jug near to her. On seeing water in her hands, he ran away from her. She started chasing after him.

" Jake ...wait…. You are annoying me these days. I have to teach you lessons…" she shouted.

As the house was empty, their voices were echoing. Finally he was struck in one of the bedrooms. She threw water on his face.

" Finally ….  I caught….you …" she laughed, looking at his drenched face. The room was filled with her laughter.

Cameron was in deep slumber and was disturbed with the noise coming outside. As he was still in a hangover, he opened his heavy eyelids and looked outside. He could hear the laughter of someone through his windows. It felt melodic to his ears. He looked outside, rubbing his temple.
