Misunderstanding2
" Dad...Please excuse us..." Cameron informed Senior Richards and both of them went to the elevator. Both of them didn't exchange words. There was silence between them.
As soon as they went inside his bedroom, he called out her name.
" Ava..."
" Trust me. I don't know if my dad was talking about Amelia. If he knew about it he would never have agreed to work with her'' he explained. Ava stared at him and nodded her head in agreement.
" Well then, Why are you silent? Speak to me" he said.
She looked into his eyes and felt the pain in them. She knew he was not ready to talk about Amelia yet. She decided to change the topic.
" Can you bring me a glass of water?" she asked. He nodded and walked to the side table to get some water for her to drink. She took it from him and drank the water silently.
" Ava... I'm not going to be able to work with her if you're not going to talk to me. I can't do my job if we're not on the same page. " he said.
