He is trying hard for her recovery
She stopped walking, and without looking back she said, "It's alright. I don't want to be a bother for the night. See you in the office tomorrow morning."
She almost dropped a tear while saying that. Her eyes seemed to be full of desperation for him, but she held back. She knew that if she turned and looked at him. She will not be able to stop herself from falling into his arms.
Cameron looked at her back, unaware of her thoughts for him. He thought he couldn't stop her right now and didn't want to force her to stay. So, he started getting up while saying, "Okay baby. Then I will walk with you till you reach your apartment. Let's go."
Ava panicked and said, "No! I will go by myself." She didn't want to be anywhere near him right now. Her body was screaming to her mind to let go but she couldn't. So, she walked away without a hint of looking back.
