A plan to save Zoya..

Recoil spent the rest of the day at the mineral baths with Zoya and her Nurse. She aided the Nurse soaking the feet and legs of Zoya and assisted in feeding her. Later as Zoya slept in the shade, Recoil enjoyed the rejuvenating waters herself. The lieutenant took Vladimir with him and left the ladies and the mountain dog at the baths. He spent the remaining day instructing Vlad in how to mount, dismount and ride and control a horse – with his hidden enhancements Vladimir was soon riding as if he was born to be a rider and it was a thrill.

At the end of the day he cleaned up and joined the riders for dinner.

Following supper he sought out the Recoil and the ladies.

He was surprised to find a total new Recoil dressed as a lady and stood watching her open mouthed.

He smiled and greeted her, but he face wasn't a happy one.

She is really sick Vladimir.. Recoil spoke. Her breathing, she hardly swallowed more then a spoonful of lunch or dinner and she hugged Vladimir. Can we help her?

How can we, questioned Vladimir? She is under constant supervision…

If they find out we are enhanced they will… who knows… we might be killed as the enemy..

Recoils eyes were wide wide as she listened, but still she plead..

Remove the writing from the Enhancement – replied Recoil – say one of us has a miraculous healing medicine – from our parent, given in case of danger. But we have never used it. And offer to administer it..to Zoya…

The lieutenant will do anything to save her.. And we don't have anyone left to use the last enhancement on Vladimir….

Vlad watched her calculating the likelihood of their success..
