Break in

The TV shows that existed on Nearth were very weird. It wasn't like the everlasting loop basic plots that happened in my past life. Literally every series i saw was based on a book of some kind. I guess the advance technology and lack of history really effected how movies and shows were developed.

I paused and thought for a second, things were working out pretty well. So I was left to relax, I had successfully recruited both Hazel and Sunny. Hazel for her part seemed more interested in me actually. I was certainly interested in her, however I had no interest in a emotional relationship. I had met Hazel's parents and I had to let out a whistle.

Hazel would age like she wouldn't be aging. That is if her mother was any indicator, that woman could've passed at Hazel's younger sister. hazel's parent's actually met me because their daughter was talking about me and even asking them about topics she considered stupid previously. 

That was a tad unexpected truth be told I thought that was set in stone for her. Seemingly however it seems as if her attraction to me changed that. One of the reasons why I didn't like emotional relationships. I didn't really want to change myself, for something that may not last. 

Though that was a point of view I may share with Sunny. She had been recruited easily enough, I had even gotten her a house in the neighborhood. It was actually a shared house, so she would share it with others if they also needed housing. However for now it was only her. Her brother had visited her and she slammed the door on his face a few times. 

He was in a legal battle and was losing horribly. Mostly because I was the one winning, which was the same as the legal battle that was happening with the police. I laughed at that one as June was also involved and she was raking them through the mud with my help.

That legal battle actually got a senator on my side about my nanite proposal. My head hurts due to that battle, I had a bad feeling it would only be solved when a cataclysm occurs. I changed the channel again, but I paused.

I felt like I was being watched? No, the feeling of having something near you. I flicked through the camera's around my home. My eyes barely caught something. I snapped to the western wall of my house. It was the only shared fence my house had and thus it was a blind spot in the cameras.

Was someone really trying to break into my house. I got up and moved towards the window. I paused, and pulled out my phone and texted June. she texted back that she was on her way and not to confront them if someone was indeed breaking in.

That was complete stupid. Of course I was gonna confront them. I can't be hurt by human means, though a bullet would still hurt. I stopped moving just before the window out of sight. After minutes pass the sound of crunching grass. Soon after that the window lock was broken, i made a note to replace that later. However when the window opened and a cloaked figured looked inside.

I reached out grabbing them by the neck and pulling them through the window. "Hello there.... Friend."

I gave a smile and they choked out a sound of surprise. After checking them for weapons I threw them onto my couch. In which I held them down with force. "Now, let's unmask this ghoul, scoob."

The person yelped as I yanked off the balaclava, strawberry blonde hair spilled out. Just this alone made me sigh, "Oh, its you."

The woman gave a stupid smile, "Who's scoob? and you are pretty strong! Like I was enhanced with nanites and you easily man-handled me. That's hot, can I have a cold shower?"

I just, no words could describe my feelings. I rubbed my head and Stella just gave me a smile. Her personality, no Stella was just something else entirely. I let out a sigh, "Wha- Why are you here?"

She gave a shrug, "So, like, no matter how I look at it. You just make no sense. Our first meeting, right? Actually just strange, there is no logical explanation for your actions. Then, THEN... You pass me these incomplete nanite blue prints to me through June. Why not just do it yourself. Why send it to me? Now, my guess to that is obvious, but then how did you know?"

She would've continued talking if I didn't put my hand to her mouth. "Just, shhh. June is coming here, I called her because you broke in. Since I stole your car that one time, let's call this even."

She made a muffled noise, and then kissed my hand. I pulled away and her smile, ugh. I knew she used nanites on herself, this was one of the reasons I didn't want to interact with her. The nanites didn't give her any real extraordinary superpowers. Instead if put in simpler terms all her stats got a bonus. Her charms were the one effected the most, to the point you'd think she had the power of seducement.

I wrote her like this to be the charismatic lead, where her brilliant mind and beautiful appearance is her greatest assets. Since she was my main character she was basically my perfect girl. Just her smile, literally made me turned on. It made my head spin.

She spoke, "So you and June are making friends?"

Her tone was somewhat serious, but at the same time I knew what this girl was like. She had the mind set of of a male MC. Which was obvious I'm a guy who wrote a female-oriented novel! I just shook my head more and paced.

Stella watched me, eventually trying to get up. However I pushed her back down onto the my sofa. "No, you are staying there."

She smirked, "Come on, I'm just gonna get water from your kitchen. I can see it from here."

I stared at her and she threw her hands up in an act of innocence, "Fine, Just thirsty."

She looked around for a bit before trying to talk to me again, "Why won't you, like, at least talk to me?"

I stared at her, "Fine, you want a serious talk. Let me begin, As long as you have that look in your eyes. No. Second, I'd prefer a business relationship only. You are unable to do that. That's why I established one through June. Third, before you ask. The only way I am giving you my number is if you leash yourself and not be weird."

She paused nodded a bit, "Okay! I'll do that! We can talk through June until I can get that done." She nodded, "You think June will drive me home? I walked here to be less suspicious. Oh, how about you lend me your car?"

I sighed, what sins have I committed for this to happen. Besides the writing of the novel...
