Chapter 4:1st MISSION!
What a begining of the day I had! My legs are still a bit tingly even though I'm resting on the sofa and sipping tea with my parents, in the living room. I'm still in my night gown with just a shawl around, it's still summer but I'm having goosebumps. The reason for this meeting is to introduce my idea to my parents. But I don't know if he'll agree or not. Our secured happy future depends on father's approval.
*Clink!...*
Father lowers his cup of tea on the saucer. Now even it's sound makes me flinch.
"Sara, what important matter did you want to discuss with us?"
Finally the moment of revealing my plan to mother and father has arrived! Though, only the necessary information will be revealed for the time being. Forgive me father and mother, for I'll be keeping you in dark about other matters for a while. I lowered my cup and turned on my 'serious mode'.
"Dad, Mom... there's something I need to discuss with you two.."
"And what is that sweetheart?"
"... It's about dad's clothe material business. In future, it'll lead to our bankruptcy."
"what?! but..how?? it's going very well sweetheart! You don't need to worry, we'll be able to pay the loan you've taken in approximate...4 years?~"

I feel this fluffy warm feeling in my heart again. I already feel full.
"No dad. I promise you I'll never let our house go bankrupt."
I can see the pride, the Galliois couple is having in their face right now regarding how beautifully their daughter has grown. I feel a bit guilty, as it's not Sara Galliois, their's lovely daughter, who's here speaking these words; it's me, Jang Jeong-Ah who has possessed this body. I feel somewhat irritated thinking about it.
"I'll be in my room till I have prepared the perfume. Then, I shall excuse myself first."
Excusing myself right now is the right option, as I don't have time to focus on these stupid feelings I'm feeling right now. I need to prepare myself to save this life of mine and this house and it's people who has faith in me. These thoughts are running in my mind as I climb upstairs to my room. There I see Mary, with the stuffs I have been waiting for since I opened my eyes in this world.
"! My lady! The items you have ordered are here!"
I can't help but grin widely with determination and excitement to hear this news and see the set up myself!
"Very well! Now let's get started!ー ....."
"?...my lady ? what's the matter? let's start making perfumes!~"
"um, actually the thing is...Mary.."
"yes?"
"I... don't know how to use the apparatus"
"....pardon?"
"I-I I don't know how to use the apparatus"
"HUHH??!!"
"OKAY OKAY!! I KNOW ALRIGHT!! I'M DUMB!! DON'T MAKE SUCH A FACE!! YOUR THOUGHTS ARE WRITTEN ALL OVER!!"
Tsk! Tsk! I made fun of myself again in front of Mary. Later she brought the manual of using the magical apparatus for distillation. You can't blame me right? I have come from 21st century. And I'm totally an alien here. But I can't say that, can I? Surprisingly it's not hard to use, and this body has quite mana in it! So I won't be facing any problems. I just need to pour the mana, by concentrating from my solar plexus in the apparatus by putting my hands on its mana stone. And it'll work.
"Okay I got it how to use this shiー I mean this apparatus."

Curses!! After going through several embaressing moments thankfully I didn't drown or bury myself. Anyways, white musk and cedarwood is already ordered as I instructed and we have picked some ingredients from the garden like Rose, Honeysuckle, Mint and then we went to the kitchen there was distilled water that I was looking for, mandarin oranges and even vanilla!
We finally got our ingredients. Now I and Mary are heading towards my room. The rest of the day I sat in front of the work table and wrote notes about my recipe of the perfume. I was thinking of starting with something simple, and I wanted to gift my first perfume to Mom so I'll be making rose perfume!
Putting washed petals of rose in the apparatus I pour my mana into it. Suddenly I felt a sharp ache running like thunders in my body, that suffocated me. Mary was worried and even asked me to stop, but I can't back away now. I kept pouring my mana into the apparatus and finally extracted rose water. Then I similarly extracted mandarin orange, cedarwood, white musk, mint and honeysuckle's essence as well. Now, I decided to keep Mandarin orange and mint as TOP NOTES, Red velvet rose, citrus rose and cedarwood as MIDDLE NOTES and White musk as BASE NOTE. After a while of concentration and regulating my mana infusion to make the perfume perfect, the perfume is finally ready.
" DONE!!! HAHAHAA! MARY I'VE FINALLY CONQUERED IT!!"
"my lady it's 3 AM in the morning stop shouting please. And please don't shake the perfume you made it might cause some mishaps"
"Agh! whatever! it's finally done! all these dark circles, stiff shoulders and tensed wrinkles were worth it! let's try spraying it! what do you say Mary?"
"I just hope it doesn't cause any reaction to skin"
"Have some faith in me Mary!"

As I sprayed the perfume I just made with my blood, sweat and tears made me just fall in love again, with MYSELF~ All this hardwork was worth it, the refreshing naughty orange-mint fragrance soothes my tension, the bluff of fragrance of rose and white musk just lingers in the room and it's so flowery yet romantic. Just what I needed.
"uwaa~ my lady, it's so romantic. You made something excellent!~ I feel tingly and fluffy in my heart!"
"fu fu fu~ It's the key to our millionaire goal Mary! Just wait and watch, we're going to have a great turn in our life with this!"
I'll earn my place in this world by stepping up to the TOP with my skills and avoid the bad ending as in the novel!
