ZOEY’S POV
“Where did you go?” he asked, I didn’t respond,
“Why are you here Zoey?” I was shocked when Lucas suddenly pulled me and asked me close to my ears,
“I saw Cris went this way, I was worried,” I said, as an alibi,
“Where is he then?” He asked me,
“There behind those walls, don’t tell Cris that you saw me, he doesn’t like to know that I’m here,” I said, giving Lucas a warning,
“I understand, but why are you here in the first place?” He asked me again,
“I heard that this place is famous because of mocking bird, I was looking for one here, and I heard a mockingbird imitating my whistle, but I wasn’t sure if it was a mockingbird because it quickly flew towards here and I noticed Cris” I hope he buys my alibi, if he does then I could get away with him, and if Dernier would ask about somebody answering him with a whistle, Lucas could say it is a mocking bird, well I seen one earlier, and I don’t know where it was,
