CHAPTER 35

“Arden my mouse… how was everything?” Tezkhen asked Arden as Arden was facing the monitor checking the footage together with AIR who was connecting itself to the CPU

“So far so good the P of I is still not giving signs of being suspicious of his surroundings… wait a minute is that Leslie?” Arden was surprised to see Leslie in there.

“Who is Leslie?” Tezkhen asked

“She is Evan’s proxy for the fashion show, Evan never told her that he is going to the palace… I should know Evan asked me if I could check on the event so that he could know what happened just in case” Arden explained

Tezkhen turns the volume high,

“AIR full scan voice and enhance volume”

~” How was the showcase? I already have all the Weaver in my hands now yours is the boutique, how long are you going to get the Weaver’s web the time is ticking Leslie” *Voice of Ken*~

~” Don’t worry I can do it just by this month, if nothing happens” *Voice of Leslie*~

Arden looked at Tezkhen

“We have to save them…” Arden said

“But how? Plus we must not mess with them?” Tezkhen said in a worried tone.

Arden didn’t reply, but he was eager to help the Weaver.

A FEW WEEKS LATER

[NEWS HEADLINES]

~” Weaver’s Web which is currently owned by Evan Weaver is now presented by Leslie who is one of the fashion designers under the brand name and she is currently on the fashion show Evan Weaver is Missing in Action. Is this the sign that Evan Weaver is going to give up his fashion career after settling down with the music producer T.Drix? Or another incident has happened behind this, causing him to be missing in action” The reporter stated.

The Ueiss seem to not be affected by the current headlines but they knew that they have to plan for what they must do to the Weaver’s.

MEANWHILE

“Arden my mouse? Where are you?” Tezkhen looked for Arden but he seemed to notice that he ain’t there.

“AIR full search of Arden!”

“The system is rebooting please wait for 72 hours until finishing” Tezkhen was so furious that he started to slam the door and looked for Troah.

“Troah! The system is broken and Arden is not here” Troah was shocked at what he had heard.

“Impossible! He broke the system all alone?”

“No he was helped by AIR but Air is on reboot”

Troah called out his colleagues so that he could find Arden as soon as possible.

MEANWHILE

Arden is already at the palace, he hacked all the CCTV cameras and froze them. He didn’t miss a chance and he immediately broke in as he checked the surroundings, he then checked his phone but it was out of network coverage.

He saw an opportunity as one window was open, he carefully checked then Cris came out of nowhere.

“Arden? Why are you here?” Cris asked

“This is all a trap someone is trying to steal your father's work” Arden did not miss anything,

Then the alarms went off Cris immediately hid Arden as servants ran outside

“We can’t get out of here as soon as possible but we could find a way, I won’t tell Dad and Uncle, so we must stay here… Brother Tezkhen loves you I should keep you safe too,” Cris said with sincerity.

Cris knew that Tezkhen loved Arden, he might be too young to notice this but he saw what he saw between Theo and Evan, it was the same. Keeping Arden safe will be Dernier’s way of thanking Tezkhen for the help.

“Thank you, Dernier Cris”

NEXT MORNING

All of the guards are on high alert as they patrol the palace they don’t seem to find Arden.

Cris received a food tray for his breakfast he wasn’t allowed to go out so the servants served him food, as the servants got out and locked the door Arden came out and ate with Cris, who couldn’t eat everything in the food tray. This went on for days and they didn’t seem to track the time. Arden keeps on spying on the whole mansion as he blends in with everyone.

As Arden went to the kitchen to monitor, he was dragged by someone into the changing room.

“You are Arden right?” The lady servant asked.

“Who are you?” Arden asked with a suspicious look on his face.

“I am one of the arachnids from west land”

Arachnids are the code of the Ueiss for those who are spies they are broken into four groups: Spiders, Scorpions, Ticks, and Mites, and are part of the class of Arachnida.

The Spider group are the ones who create connections with anyone to use it as a way of catching their enemy, they only work to find or spy, what and who the Ueiss wants to look for.

The Scorpion group are the ones that make the silent kill, they would make sure that the enemy is no longer able to survive, and they only work when the Ueiss is in grave danger.

The Tick group are the ones who make sure that the enemy is attached to them and could be easy to manipulate, they would only work when the Ueiss family wants to know something deeper about their enemy.

The Mite group is responsible for the infestation of disaster to the enemy, they would create situations that make them lose hope and give up, and they will only work when the Ueiss has someone that transgresses their rules.

These four will join together to fulfill the mission that has been given to them.

WEST LAND is a code of the Ueiss family, even though their surname is pronounced as ō wes they use west land for the reason that it sounded like Ueiss Land just like saying “Oh west land” which is how the neighboring village calls the Ueiss land when people are asking where to find their family and because it was located at the western part.

“You should escape when there’s an opportunity but for now let’s blend in,” the spy said to Arden.

Arden felt relieved but only for a few days, the spy told him that the only way to escape was by going out during grocery day that’s the only day that the servants are allowed to go out and it is only once a month.

The spy waited for Arden as the day arrived but Arden was nowhere to be found so she tried to get out and inform the Ueiss what happened.

Meanwhile…

“So you are the rat *whip* *screams* aren’t you the lover of that annoying chips nerd, tell me where could I find the Ueiss!” *Whip* Ken asked Arden with a grinning face

“*Screams loud* I won’t tell you even if I die!!!” Arden shouted at Ken

“Not yet… I’m just starting to play… how about you Evan? *whip* *screams* are you not going to tell me? You have two options either you die or your brother or perhaps your son. The clock is ticking make up your mind… choose death or the address… so simple… JUST GIVE THE DAMN ADDRESS!!!” Ken shouted at them as he lost his patience.
