“Dernier Cris come here…” Evan said
“Daddy Evan, who is he?” Cris asked
“Hi… my name is Theo Hendrix Ueiss, you can call me Theo what’s yours?” Theo asked
“My name is Dernier Cris Weaver... You can call me Cris” Cris said
The two shakes hand.
“Daddy, are you with him?” Cris asked
“Uhm… baby can you go out again with Uncle Dominic?” Evan said
“Ok Daddy,” Cris said
“Let’s go baby Uncle is giving you a tour around the hospital,” Dominic said to Cris
Evan looked at Theo, he noticed that Theo has a lot of questions with the look on his face.
“Dernier is my biological son,” Evan said
“Really?!” Theo was surprised
“I was 18 when I accidentally impregnated a friend of mine or a boss of mine she died right after she had given birth, I took Cris away because they want him dead, no one knows his existence the only problem is he needs to change his last name to be able to not be found by his mom’s family,” Evan explained
“That’s why you named him Dernier Cris because it means the last cry,” Theo said
“Yeah” Evan replied
Theo holds Evan’s hand.
“If you don’t want a guy who has a child you could say so…” Evan said
“Are you kidding me?! I love kids! I’ll be willing to help you raise him” Theo assured Evan
“Oh, Theo…” Evan said as he pulled Theo and kissed him.
“How did I ever deserve such a man like you” Evan continued
*Kiss*
“Daddy!!” Cris shouted
Theo and Evan were startled and looked in the direction of Cris.
“What’s wrong?! Why are you crying and what’s with that bruise?” Evan asked his son
“Baby Cris here you are don’t worry they won’t be back anymore…” Dominic panted as he followed Cris
“What the hell happened?! Cris you alright?” Theo asked
“I was hit by a woman… she hit me with a bag” Cris replied
“Who?!” Evan was furious
“Sofia Pythone,” Dominic said
“That bitch!” Evan yelled
Theo quickly covered Dernier’s ears, making Dernier startled.
“Goodness, gracious! Cris doesn’t remember that word” Theo said to Cris as he let go
“Sorry baby…” Evan said as he pat his son
Cris just stayed quiet while Theo called Thunder.
“Hello everyone! Theo whose kid is this that I need to check? Did you do something behind the Ueiss family? *Gasp* mama mia mi primo” Thunder said who was shocked
“Just put some first aid on Cris,” Theo said
“Fine… his little boy, your name is Cris, right? I’m Dr. Thunder cousin of Theo, can you open your mouth? Say ahh…” Thunder said to Cris who obliged
Thunder checked Cris and it seems like Cris has a wound inside his mouth. Thunder put some medicines after cleaning Dernier’s mouth.
“This kid needs to be checked by a Psychiatrist or psychologist, the wound will disappear but the impact and trauma could stay in the child’s mind.” Thunder suggested
“Thanks, Couz,” Theo said to Thunder
“No problem if you need anything in terms of medication you can ask me, but broken hearts and stupidity? Not my line of work, I have to go, see you, everyone…” Thunder bid his farewell
After Thunder left, Cris sat beside Evan.
“Daddy please let me stay with you… I’ll be a good boy I promise just please let me stay with you…” Cris begged
“Baby even if I wanted to I can’t, I’m always going overseas and I also come back after months, children are not allowed to go there, and even Uncle Dominic wants to take care of you he still needs to go to school…” Evan explained to his son
Cris just lowered his head in sadness, his tears started to fall but he doesn’t want his father to see he was weak.
“I can take care of him!” Theo stated out of impulse
Everyone looked at Theo.
“Aren’t you have work Bro Theo?” Dominic asked
“I do…” Theo replied
“No, I can’t disturb you in your work…” Evan said
“I mean I can take care of him, I’m just not always at work, like I’m free most of the time and I can bring him to work…” Theo suggested
“What do you do Mr.?” Cris was curious
“I’m a music producer,” Theo said
“Cool! Daddy, please let me stay with him! ” Cris was excited
Evan let out a sigh and agreed to Cris and Theo. He called Fiona and inform her about the situation, Fiona agreed happily and send all Dernier’s things to Evan’s place.
MEANWHILE
“Where have you been? At the bar again?” Sofia asked
“Stop asking questions I’m tired…” Mark replied
“Ha! Don’t tell me, you still like that BEST FRIEND of yours who had a son already, 7 years ago, 10 years of friendship yet been cheated for 7 years…” Sofia said
“What did you say?!!” Mark asked
In rage Mark suddenly choked Sofia with his hands, Sofia struggled to be released by Mark. Mark released her and she coughed and was able to catch her breath.
“I said he had a son!” Sofia yelled
Mark was surprised yet he remembered Dominic said someone wants to see Evan. {“Big bro Theo I’m gonna leave Big bro Denim to you, Bro I’m gonna fetch him now he wants to visit you,” Dominic said}. (But to whom) he thought.
Mark received a call from Evan he instantly picked it up.
“Hello, Evan? How are you?” Mark asked
“Mark, please tell your wife to stay put on her house or I’ll send her to jail if she dares hurt my son again!” Evan yelled
“When did you have a son?” Mark asked
“It’s not your business,” Evan said
“Well it is I’m your best friend,” Mark said
“Well, we are not anymore remember? Just tie up your wife I don’t wanna see her again, and include yourself too” Evan said
*Hang up*
“Just wait Evan I’ll get you back you are mine, only mine,” Mark said
