After Siryun returned, she took some time off work and then joined back the company. Both of them decided to forget everything and get back to being best friends that they usually were. Siryun tried her best, not to like him but was unable to do so. But, she didn't want to lose the friendship she had with Jiwook. Therefore she acted that she was over him. Jiwook did hook up with a number of females but they were either important people related to business or the models working in his company. Those were just causal relationships. Siryun couldn't see him with other women but she consoled herself by mentally reminding herself that they were just one night stand. She felt comfort in knowing that Jiwook wasn't serious about any of them and she had the upper hand.
But ever since he met Aisha, things had changed. Jiwook stopped hanging out with them at the bar in order to take her on dates and spending time with her. Never had he invited someone to his office building yet here he was with Aisha introducing her to the people in the building. She knew that this time it was different, which is why she couldn't control her jealousy this time. She wondered what that woman had done to him, in order to make him fall for her.
And right now watching him smiling like a fool, who was in love was just annoying!
"Jiwook"
"Yes do you need anything" Jiwook looked up and answered.
"Nope, I just came to chat for awhile." she said while taking a seat across the table.
"Okay then let's rest for a bit before the next meeting starts."
They chatted for awhile just like they normally did. This gave her some comfort as to knowing that he still cared about her.
After their meeting was over Jiwook went back to his parents' house.
"Alright so when are you bringing that girl to our home?" his mother questioned, as soon as he entered.
Jiwook sighed, and answered, "Very soon."
"I can't wait to meet her" she exclaimed.
"Make it very soon you idiot. And you need to sit with me and tell me your entire story."
"Okay mum now please let me go and take a shower."
"Alright!" she replied and went back to her cooking.
On his way to his room he bumped into his sister, Haeun. She quickly averted her eyes and walked away. Ever since she found out that her brother knew about her dating life, before she even told him, she felt a bit embarrassed.
Jiwook smirked inside and went to his room in order to freshen up for dinner.
'Sometimes bullying your younger sibling is fun...' he thought to himself.
After taking a shower he came back for dinner. His dad had not returned from the office yet. He and his dad worked together but their office buildings were different as they handled different things.
"Jiwook how did you meet her?"
"I met her at the orphanage where we make our donation every year."
"See, I told you that I will not die without seeing my daughter in law" she said excitedly. Haeun too listened to them closely as she too was interested in her brother's love life.
"I should get half of the credit, as it was me, who forced you to go that day. See you should always listen to your mother as she is always right!" she concluded
Jiwook and Haeun both rolled their eyes. Their mother could be too much sometimes. But both of them loved their mother dearly.
"Alright, enough with Jiwook. Now Haeun, when are you gonna get me a son in law?"
"Yes Haeun, even I am curious about your love life. Mum we should keep a close eye on her, in order to find out whether she is dating someone secretly or not..." Jiwook deliberately added.
Haeun who did not expect this from her brother at all, choked on her food.
'What the heck! How could he be so mean and betray her like this. Infact when did this conversation change its direction!" she thought to herself. She looked at her brother accusingly. Jiwook only smirked in return as he was having fun pulling her leg.
"Mum I will let you know if I like someone."
"Alright but when? Look at your brother, he listens to everything I say."
Haeun couldn't believe it. Uptil now Jiwook was the one to get such nagging and all of a sudden things changed. Uptil now he was the irresponsible one and now it was her.
Her mother was too fickle minded!
"Mum I promise you it won't take that long. Now let's focus on brother first, as he is the elder one."
And once again it was Jiwook turn to get some nagging.
After their constant bickering, they went to their respective rooms in order to get some rest after dinner.
Jiwook thought about Aisha and texted her goodnight before preparing for bed. He felt good to know that now their was someone waiting for his goodnight messages.
Their relationship was definitely getting serious day by day ...
