Hestia Appears!

Artillian had arrived on the island like an intangible spectre. But slowly over time, his body became more tangible until he could finally set foot on the Island.

The island gave the boy and somewhat omnipotent feeling. Artillian felt as if he was the owner of this place. With a swing of his hand, he could call forth great winds and cause an epic storm. With a stomp of his foot, he could crack the earth and cause the ground to rumble. This feeling only become stronger with time, until an all too familiar voice suddenly materialized beside him

"Normally a start-up Medici Vault shouldn't have this much stuff, not to mention life, but you have my essence as part of you, so it upgraded your Medici Vault to a new level. This is no longer simply a place for testing spells now. Its simulation ability will bring you great boons."

Artillian had been curious to see what Hestia looked like, but he was surprised. She had hazel brown eyes that had no doubt whatsoever. Small dainty lips and a perky nose. She had big round eyes that slanted slightly to the edges. Her caramel-like skin gave one a feeling of being refreshed. She was wearing a simple Greek gown made from what seemed to be linen.

She was not incredibly beautiful but she had a charm about her. Her body was quite well developed because even though she was wearing loose robes, her bountiful chest and curvy body were all too visible.

Artillian was a picky person when it came to women, but he had to admit Hestia was in his strike zone.

'She looks clean, plain and modest. Not too good-looking but also decent to look at. Nice body too. Alas...'

Artillian of Earth was also a person who had fallen deeply in love. Hestia was amazing and charming, especially her ice queen temperament that carried an emotionless gaze. But Artillian couldn't forget his first and only love. The very reason he wanted to die was to atone.

'I have to atone, for what I did to her.'

Hestia was similar to his first love, although she was much more attractive and fit. But there was quite the resemblance. So much so that they could be called Sisters, but resemblances were far too common. Not to mention Hestia was a deity.

Hestia's appearance was a surprise, but Artillian quickly adjusted. He was ready for the next stage. Creating the Pathless Origin itself.

"Mind Soul and Body."

6 spheres of silvery-white light. 3 represented the states of existence and 3 represented his primary attributes. One represented spirit, one represented anti-divinity, one represented space, one represented the mind, one represented the soul and one represented the body.

One large sphere, one medium one and 4 smaller ones. The big sphere of slight was above the four smaller ones with the medium ball appearing vertically between the two groups of spheres. The lower four made a square-like shape with each sphere acting like the corner of a square. The spheres linked to each other using beams of light. Once all the spheres had linked together, a pyramid of silvery-white light appeared in front of the duo.

The pyramid was see-through with the medium ball in the centre clearly visible. It was not the largest but it was the most colourful and gave off the most intense light. Even the aura it gave off was impressive.

Artillian could have sworn that he had seen the trees and plants around his bow in reverence to the spheres but he quickly dismissed such thoughts to the back of his mind.

"The large sphere is the space attribute anchor that allows all these attributes to exist. Anti-divinity is an 'invisible attribute', meaning it can't have an avatar as it is your essential core of existence. It will be present in every avatar of yours. The creator of Pathless Origins was also afraid that practitioners of this cultivation art would be chased by deities, so he made it so that the anti-divinity would be masked by all other attributes."

The pyramid slowly floated in front of Artillian, who hesitated before reaching out to touch it. Once his finger had touched the glass-like surface of the pyramid walls, he experienced an incredible sensation. A flood of energy entered his body, along with runes that were like squiggly lines snaking and coiling around his arm. The runes covered him and started to brand themselves on his body.

Meanwhile, up in the skies above the island, a star descended slowly onto the beach. It shined brightly like a powerful lightbulb surrounded by darkness. As the bright star neared, it broke apart into 8 pieces. One large piece and seven smaller pieces.

Hestia coldly gazed at the descending star with a glint of surprise in her big hazel brown eyes. 'Seven?'

'Seven stars. That means his Family Avatar can summon seven avatars maximum. This is incredible. Although most come from his fusion of me, it shouldn't be this much. Could it be that our souls are more compatible than I thought?

Compatibility heavily affected how much of a spirit's power one could bring out. Spirits were merely taps that allowed magic users to channel their energy.

The contract between a spirit and a Spiritualist was that Spiritualists gave their energy in return for being granted access to that spirit's power. That was the usual relationship dynamic.

Hestia was a divine spirit that came with vast amounts of her own energy, and she had willingly bonded with the boy, but his anti-divinity had caused her to remain stuck with him for the foreseeable future. Their relationship was much more symbiotic than others. This meant that for Hestia and Artillian, the results of being compatible were even more exaggerated.

'Or is it his spirit gate?'

Each of the 3 great attributes had a state of matter that they connected to. The space gate was connected to the body. The balance attribute to the soul and the spirit attribute to the mind.

The mind controlled the soul, the soul controlled the body and the body controlled the environment.

The environment hosted the body, the body hosted the soul while the soul hosted the mind. Both Hestia and Artillians Souls had fused, but their minds were still separate. Those born with the spirit attribute had powerful minds capable of distorting the laws of existence.

'Those that are endowed with the spirit gate usually have powerful perception and excellent use of the Higher Senses. Now it's just a matter of time. What Higher Senses does he possess?'
