The situation only got worse when Kou tried to attack him by surprise. For a moment it seemed to catch him off guard, but he was still quick enough to dodge her palm and knock her out with an attack to the back of her head.

She was injured, the guardian had hit a specific spot on her shoulder that had considerably affected the movement of her arm.
