Chapter 46

When I got home, I dropped Ivy on my experiment table and strapped her to it before injecting her with paralysis, and sleeping potion. When I found her within the rubble of the colosseum, she was surprisingly fine and was laying on a big stone on the ground. I looked around the lab, removing any live plant or any leaves at all before all that remained was her clothes.

Without a second thought, I removed her corset made of leaves, leaving her naked before taking it out of the room and going upstairs.

I sat on the living room couch and turned on the TV. Instead of watching it, I closed my eyes and went into deep thought. What should I do to her? What can I find from looking through her cells, and DNA? What am I even looking for...?

I sat there, thinking for a long time, maybe hours before I there's the front door open. Looking over, I saw C-1 coming in, carrying a female on her shoulder.

"Take your fucking meta-human." C-1 said, throwing the woman at me, which I slapped out of the way. She was about to jump away but I said.

"Throw her on the dining table and go clean yourself. You won't leave this house until I permit you." I said.

She looked at me unwillingly before walking into the house, closing the door, picking up the woman, and walking to the kitchen. 

I wait for some time before standing up and stretching. 'Shall we test more about my power?'

I walked into the kitchen and looked at the woman. Hmm, let's see this new trick I just thought of. Vibrating my hand till, I phased it through her chest and grabbed her heart, before phasing it out. Her heart was now in my hand and it was still beating before it stopped. Ob, she was still alive.

Biting a big chunk of her heart and eating it, I felt no different. Shrugging, I continued eating her till I finished her entire body, even the parts I normally don't.

"What a shame. I fell..."

Suddenly, my entire body started to ache. I squatted down and held my stomach in pain. I was starting to feel dizzy and not wanting to faint on this floor. I tried to stable myself using the wall, but I mistakenly touched a socket, and electric currents shot out and started entering my body like a stream moving into a river.

I felt no pain from the electricity entering my body, nor pleasure, but more uneasy and dizzy. After some seconds, the light for the entire mansion went out. Opening my eyes, I found, I found myself in a pitch-black kitchen.

I stood up before quickly running out of the basement and my thought came true. All the prisoners came out of their cell and started running down the hall. The guard robots were shooting, killing some of them, but they were quickly crowded and moving toward me.

Sigh. I will have to kill you all since I don't think the light will be coming on any...

*Hummmm*

A low hum echoed through the house before the light in the hall came on and all the cells began to close. I quickly ran and started putting each of them into a cell and in 7 seconds, I was done. I think I mistakenly put two people in a cell, but who cares.

Looking down at my hand, I decided to leave the house and do some tests.

After hours of testing the ability, I got from eating that woman with the electricity power, I concluded. I can absorb a lot of electricity but can't shoot it out like some kind of lightning bolt. But if I touch another person with my hands, I can transfer all the volt of electricity within me and into their body. I can only use it within my body to increase my thinking speed and reaction 2 times more than it normally is. That's a shame. But it will come in handy someday. 

Another problem is that I can't control the absorption power. Whenever I touch any electronics, the electricity within it automatically gets sucked into my body and after absorbing too much, I start to feel pain in my stomach. It seems like the amount of absorption has its limits. So, to control this, I started wearing black leather gloves.

I walked into my lab and found Ivy, looking straight at me, not sleeping. "Huh? You are awake? That injection was supposed to keep you sleeping for another day or two."

"Do you think those toxins will affect me?" Ivy said, smiling at me. "Now, can you release me from this bondage, or do you like doing it this way?"

I looked at her before bringing out a syringe from my lab coat pocket and injecting her. "This should make you fall asleep..."

"Oh darling, I am immune to all toxins, bacteria, and viruses." Ivy said, looking at the needle.

"That's good to know..." I said, a wide grin appearing on my face. "You will experience everything I am doing to you. The cutting, the dissecting, everything. I normally don't do this since it will interfere with my work, but you are an exemption."

A look of horror appeared on Ivy's face as she heard what was going to happen to her."We can do something else. Look at my sexy body. You can use it however you want, except doing whatever you were going to do before." Ivy desperately said, trying to move.

"You do have a good figure... But..." I picked up an empty syringe from my research table. "I am not into females."

"Huh? So you are gay?" Ivy asked, surprised. "Who would have thought..."

"No. I am not into male or female, but something else." I said, injecting her and drawing her blood. The blood was green which didn't come as a surprise to me.

"...What are you looking for in me?" Ivy asked, in a fearful voice.

"I don't know. But I will know when I find it." I said, putting the blood under an advanced microscope that can detect dark matter. 

The room was silent for a while, with me inspecting Ivy's blood and she laid, tied to the experiment table. I started moving through the lab at superspeed, doing many tests with her blood before I stopped next to her head and said.

"That's weird. I see no dark matter or metagene within your gene. The only special thing is toxic within it..." I said, looking toward Ivy who had a smile on her face.

"So, can I go now?" She asked, hopeful.

"No. Now, I need to learn more about how you can use your power. How can you use such amazing power without any reason? I mean, my power and C-1 powers have a scientific reason, so why don't yours." I said, moving over to my computer and started doing research.

After some minutes, I stopped and signed. "The only explanation is, magic. A connection you have to another dimension, just like the speed force to me..." I sighed and looked down at my hand 'Who should I go to learn about all these extra-dimensional powers... If there was a way to use the speed force, I want to know. Is it just like going back in time? Just imagine yourself entering it while running and it will naturally happen?'

I nodded before saying. "Let's test that out, no harm trying."

I zoomed out of the lab than out of the house. I ran through the city, imagining myself entering the speed force. Since it is the source of my power, I should be able to enter it. 

Suddenly, a portal opened in front of me and I entered it.
