Chapter 4

~Alison's P.O.V.~

After I left the equipment room I walked to the kitchen to see Mills cleaning the kitchen stove.

"Mills" I said as I approached him

He looked up at me but looked back down to cleaning

I took a sigh "Look I'm sorry, I just. All people have been asking me lately is if I'm okay and"

"So it's a bother if we ask? To show that we care?" He asked looking up at me

"No... I'm sorry I just have alot going on"

"Then tell me. You know you can tell me anything Alison. Your like my little sister"

I nodded "Fair enough. Someone messed with my tank. I swear I checked it before we left and it was full"

"Are you sure it was your tank?"

I nodded "Positive. And Kelly even saw me as I checked it"

"Then who would mess with your stuff?" He asked

I shrugged my shoulders "But when I went to talk to Boden, he didn't seem happy. Actually the complete opposite"

"Maybe cause that's his job?"

"Probably"

"You going to Molly's tonight?" He asked

"I've had enough drinks thanks" I said putting my hands up

He chuckled "Hey what's up with you and Jay. I noticed somethin, well I've always noticed something going on"

"I'd rather not talk about it" I said

He nodded "Fair enough"

"Hey Alison, you have a visitor" Kelly said coming from outside

I turned around to see Cindy. Jay's fiance. Great. I rolled my eyes inside but fake smiled on the outside

"Cindy hi" I said approaching her and giving her a hug

She smiled and hugged back

"Can I talk to you in private?" She asked

I nodded and we walked off to the locker room "What's up?" I asked

She sighed "I know you and Jay are really good friends"

I nodded as I followed where she was going

"And I know there's always been something going on between you two"

"As in friends yes" I said lying through my teeth

"But I need you to stay away" She said with her angry tone

She stunned me "Excuse me"

"You heard me. Jay is marrying me. Not you. So I'd appreciate it of you back off. And if we see each other later, we're girlfriends!" She exclaimed and fake smiled before walking off

When she left the flipped her hair and smacked me in the face. I scoffed and the anger just boiled in my skin. It took me awhile before I walked back to see Mills sitting on the chair at the table. I grabbed his arm and practically dragged him outside

"What's going on?" He asked

"Cindy's a bitch!" I almost screamed

"Woah where is this coming from?"

"She came in here all nice. Then she practically threw me against the wall and told me to stay away from Jay"

"Threw you against the wall?!" Concern ran across his face

"Not literally but almost did"

He sighed "Listen don't let her rattle you. She doesn't tell you what to do. Don't let her push you around"

I nodded "Thanks for making me feel better"

He nodded "Come on"

We walked back inside

"You okay Alison?" Mouch asked me

"Not having the best shift, that's all" I said

The rest of my shift went by quickly. I was at the locker room getting my things when Kelly approached me

"Hey sis. Boden wants to see you"

"Again?" I sighed, closed my locker and grabbed my bag before walked to his office

I walked in "You wanted to see me"

He nodded. I gulped thinking I was in even bigger trouble. Then I noticed Voight

"What's going on?" I asked

"We need your help" Voight said "We need two people to go undercover on a case were doing. Your the only one who has experience"

"Me?" Boden nodded

"Why not Erin?" I asked

"Because the suspect were trying to catch knows all of us. Expect you and Jay" Voight said

Me and Jay? Great. But you know what I'm not gonna let Cindy get in the way. Me and Jay will just be on a case. And nothing else.

I took a deep breath "Okay. What's the case? What do I need to do?"

"We need you too to just drive around, act normal. These suspects will follow you, we just need them to make a move. Then we take them" Voight said

I nodded "Okay"

"So as long as your working on that case, you won't be here for your shift" Boden said

"When do we do this?" I asked stuffing my hands in my pockets

"Right now" Voight said

He walked out as I gave Boden a look like I wanted to go home and just sleep then I walked after Voight. I changed my clothes to regular clothes then headed to the police station. After that Jay and I headed into the car and just drove. We drove around. We drove for quite sometime in silence until he broke the silence

"So the other night at Molly's"

"Look Jay I-" I began but he cut me off

"What was going on? I've never seen you get drunk"

"Yea. I'd just rather not talk about it" I said

"You know you can talk to me right? Alison we've known each other for a long time. And I was gonna go after you at Molly's but"

"But your fiance was there who by the way doesn't like me"

He turned to look at me for a second then turned his head back to the road because he was driving "You just need to get to know her"

"Yea.. right" I mumbled under my breath

"Hey, I'm just glad you didn't drink and drive that night. I don't know what I would do without you" He turned to look at me for a couple seconds and flashed a big gorgeous smile

It made my heart flutter. Man why does he have to be engaged. I turned back foward "Jay watch out!" I yelled
