The Emerson Fishing ship, a long-distance fishing vessel of several hundred tons, had been in service for seven years.
Over these seven years, the Emerson Fishing ship had been entrusted with supplying seafood to high-end restaurants in Sydney and other places, catching precious fish varieties across many locations in the South Pacific for these fine dining establishments.
However, as large-scale fishing has increased in recent years, many fish that were previously easily caught are now not so easily found. Hence, Captain Vic had no choice but to sail the fishing boat deep into the South Pacific, in the hope of catching more fish species that meet the requirements of the restaurants from these remote waters.
They had been sailing for three days, but the results were not as optimistic as Vic had anticipated. In other words, they were far from the target he had in mind, and there was no way to be satisfied with their catch.
Will this trip just end in vain?
