Chapter 9

Shivering. On his way towards the Cave, Bi Fang suddenly felt a chill, a cold chill that he has encountered hundreds of times, went down his spine.

He already knew what was about to happen, as his face slowly darkened, he suddenly rushed off into the woods to hide.

"No no no, please leave me alone, not again!" Bi Fang said helplessly.

Rumble. A Rumble could be heard and the earth started to quake. The Seniors were excited to hear about Bi Fang's return, and went searching for him.

Seniors? No, more like Beasts.

Bi Fang quickly made his way towards the cave, to avoid the beasts who are looking for him. The Cave is well hidden between many Trees and small Mountains, the entrance to the cave is blocked by the falling water from a waterfall, which is also the reason for it to not have been found by the others.

Bi Fang once accidently stumbled upon this entrance, while running away from the Beasts hoard ( Seniors ) 2 years ago.

He rushed into the waterfall, to get away from their pursuit, however how would he know that there was a cave hidden behind the waterfall.

The Cave entrance was just about the Size of an Adult, at first Bi Fang didn't dare to go in, however after hearing the Seniors coming closer, he didn't have a choice.

Upon entering, the darkness of the cave scared him so badly, that he almost peed his pants, which was quite acceptable for a 3 year old child.

He stayed near the entrance until the Seniors went away, after they were gone, Bi Fang quickly went outside, grabbed a stick and lightened it up. With the Torch, he examined the cave, the Cave was about a few hundred Meters deep.

After Bi Fang reached the end of the Cave, he saw a Skeleton, sitting in a Lotus-like position. He thought that he died while cultivating, which might be true. He might be someone important in his lifetime, but now he's nothing but a skeleton. The Skeleton held a sword, with the name Sun Strike Sword, its slender, golden blade shimmers with an inner radiance, like it captured the sun´s light, the hilt has golden features, some unknown engravings and a sun-cut sapphire in the pommel, the minimalist guard allows for fluid movements and shows the blades brilliance.

Bi Fang took the sword into hand, and swung it a few times, before putting it in a corner, because he knew if he showed it to his master, he would probably take it away from him.

Now that Bi Fang had arrived at the cave, he lit up a torch and went deep into the Cave, where he would always stay.

He decorated the Cave to his own will, however it looked pretty basic, a normal wooden bed, a rug on which he would meditate and a jar, where he would keep his pills and the sword that picked up dust, which was laying in a corner.

"Okay then let's start now" Bi Fang seriously said.

He began to sit in a lotus-like position and started to absorb the Qi, which was flowing into the cave. For some reason the Cave´s Qi was a bit stronger compared to outside, which was also another reason he would stay in the Cave.

Bi Fang has accumulated a lot of Qi in just a few days, enough to reach the Bottleneck of his Foundation Establishment Realm.

Other People may be stuck at this Realm for a lifetime, however for Bi Fang it's like catching a chicken, which has run away.

Bi Fang started the process by forming his spiritual Energy into a Core, he needed to imagine the Core as perfect as possible, to lay a great foundation for the future. He now had the perfect Image of the Core, a Core that's as smooth as a marble, round like the roundest sphere, as he led his spiritual Qi into his Dantian, the Qi started to go into the Core in a spiral like manner.

Soon after a Core could be seen lightly, Bi Fang knew, that he almost succeeded in breakingthrough, however he couldn ́t let his mind disturb him, so he went quiet after this.

After this a Golden Core could be seen, in Bi Fang's Dantian, but something was different in what he had read in some books.

"Ha? Why is my Golden Core different in what the book told me? Did I do something wrong, did I make a mistake? But it does look cool, hehe… NO why is it different?" Hundreds of questions started going through his Mind

His Golden Core looked different from any other Core, it resembled a miniature nebula, it's a swirling, golden Sphere with tiny star-like specks that are scattered throughout, giving it a Celestial and Comic look.

The Core emits a gentle, golden light that illuminates his dantian. It seems to contain countless tiny, radiant specks of light, reminiscent of distant stars, twinkling and shifting in a slow, graceful dance.

However something also shocked him. Bi Fang slightly felt that something was different, he could feel the space energy, but just a small amount, which isn't much help to him right now.

Bi Fang quickly stood up and ran out, "AHH, I need to ask the Sect Master about this, have I done something wrong?!" Bi Fang said, startled.

After arriving back in the Sect, he quickly ran to the pavilion of the Sect Master, and kicked the door open.

"Sect Master help me" Bi Fang said while sobbing.

This surprised the Sect Master and said "What's wrong, did something happen, did someone bully you, Who dares to bully you?"

"Sect Master, no, something is wrong with my Core. I read in the books that it should shine with a yellow glimmer an-" Bi Fang said while still sobbing

The Sect Master interrupted him and was surprised "What?! Something is wrong with your Core, let me check instantly, sit down now!"

The Sect master hurriedly told Bi Fang to sit down, as he did that, the Sect Master hold his hand against the back of Bi Fang, while he was examining it, his eyes opened widely in surprise, however he needed to calm down, before he scares Bi Fang in some way.

"Bi Fang, there is nothing wrong with your Core, it's the opposite. It should be an alteration, which is really rare. The last person that had an alliterated Golden Core, was the Founder of the Prism Mortal World and his two Disciplines. So don't worry, there is nothing wrong with you, but I can't tell you what kind of alliterated Golden Core you have." The Sect Master said with an optimistic tone.

"So, there is nothing wrong with my Core, are you sure?" Bi Fang said while slowly calming down, while wiping his tears away.

"Yes, I am sure, that there is nothing wrong with your Core, how about you go back into your room and stabilize your realm, to be able to use 100% of it." The Sect Master said, while calming Bi Fang down.

"sniff, okay then i will go back now." Bi Fang said while slowly walking towards the door.

Even as Bi Fang left the room, The Sect Master could only see his back once again, he then realized that Bi Fang would be someone he couldn't keep forever, he is destined to reach the World, in where one of the Ancestors of the Sun Sect went. He then thought "Maybe, Bi Fang might be able to meet one of our Ancestors." But after all, these are just the thoughts of a man, who was once called a prodigy by everyone else, however he didn't reach their expectations and ended, where he is now. The Sect Master didn´t want to pressure Bi Fang and tell him about this, he just wanted to let Bi Fang live how he wants to, with no one pressuring him, with anything.

"hmm, before going back should i eat something? I still have the taste of those disgusting dietary pills on my tongue." Just when Bi Fang said this, a rumble could be heard, Bi Fang knew that he stood no chance if they found him, so he quickly ran off towards his room, with the disgusting taste which was still lingering on his tongue.

"No, why again, can you leave me alone for at least a day or two, pleaseeeeee!" Bi Fang again helplessly said.

Somewhere deep in Space a man could be seen with his mouth wide open. This man was Bi Shao.

"Wha- WHAAAAT?!?!?! He achieved the alteration of a Golden Core and not just a simple one, but that of which the Ruler of Heavens had in Times where there were just a handful of Humans, the First so called Invincible being, THE STARRY NEBULA GOLDEN CORE… but it's just the Golden Core, so I can't be so sure what happens next….. Or no no no it can't be, or?"

As Bi Shao said this, his brain got overworked, smoke started to spread out of his ears, as he was now lying on the space.
