Chapter 13

Bi Fang was cluelessly walking through the City with no goal in mind.

"Sigh, the Sect Master didn't tell me where I can find Senior Brother Zhong, or did he? I can't recall." Bi Fang again was lost.

Then he thought of a way to search for Senior Brother Zhong.

After thinking for a bit, he now had an idea

He started to inhale a lot of air, before letting it all out

"SENIOR BROTHER ZHONG, WHERE ARE YOU?"

Bi Fang's voice could be heard throughout the entire City, even the guards at the other side of the city guarding the gate could hear him.

A young man in a courtyard was sleeping peacefully with an open book on his face and leaning back on the chair until he heard the scream, and fell from it.

"wha-, who is looking for me?" Senior Brother Zhong already forgot that he will have a visitor soon.

After a few moments, he suddenly remembered,

"I can't believe it, I totally forgot Junior Brother Bi, it must be him looking for me." Senior Brother Zhong then stood up and jumped over his own courtyard wall and rushed towards the direction in where the sound came from.

He was quite fast, passing by many houses and stores, he quickly arrived and saw Bi Fang in the crowd.

Bi Fang looked helpless, with his head down, someone might thought, that he's lost.

And this was the truth.

"why couldn ́t the sect master tell me in detail where i should find senior Brother Zhong" Bi Fang looked kind of disappointed, when thinking of how the Sect Master describes things.

Bi Fang was just walking, following the flow of the crowd, until heard

"Junior Brother Bi, I found you."

This surprised Bi Fang, he looked left and right, only to not see anyone

"Here I'm up here." Senior Brother Zhong said, while standing on the ceiling of a house.

Bi Fang's face started to lighten up and he began smiling. Bi Fang jumped on the ceiling too, to see Senior Brother Zhongs smiling.

"So Junior Brother, how was it, did everything went well on your journey here."

Bi Fang explained everything to Senior Brother Zhong.

Senior Brother Zhong almost started laughing

"you got lost? And you´re telling me the Sect Master just said the city is in the North, he's still the same as before." Senior Brother Zhong got into the same predicament as Bi Fang.

Because of the Sect Masters lack of instruction and detail, he too got lost when he was younger, however he didn't have someone to help him.

"Bi Fang, be happy that someone came to your rescue, I was lost for 1 or 2 months and was stuck in the forest with wild beasts."

Both of them started laughing with tears running down their faces.

"Let's head towards my Courtyard for now and well start training tomorrow morning." Senior Brother Zhong wanted to let Bi Fang rest a bit, before a hell of a training starts.

Arriving at the Courtyard, Bi Fang couldn't help but be mesmerized in such a beautiful garden. It had everything from a pond to a pavilion, everything that would help calm one's mind.

"Wow, Senior Brother Zhong, you live in such a beautiful courtyard, what did you do to get something like this." Bi Fang was curious how his Senior Brother got something like this, since it was even more beautiful than the courtyard in the Sect.

"oh, me ehm, I did something that, ahem, nevermind forget it, just lay down, loosen up a bit and enjoy the scenery." Senior Brother Zhong quickly tried to change the topic

Because to achieve his Courtyard, he turned the city upside down, because he wasn't satisfied with staying at an inn. He then went to the Mayor's office and caused a disturbance, beating up the officials and having them lick his feets.

"Please stop, what can we do to have you stop!?" That's what the city mayor said and exactly what Senior brother Zhong wanted to hear.

"I want to have the best courtyard in the city, where no one would disturb my peace."

This dumbfounded the mayor, he did all that just for a courtyard, the mayor thought he wanted to conquer the whole city and have it for himself. He then quickly agreed to his condition before he could add anything else.

Senior Brother Zhong then left the Mayor's office with a smile on his face while casually walking like he was strolling through a park.

After his reminiscence, he came back to reality, only to see Bi Fang sleeping on his chair.

This however annoyed Senior Brother Zhong, as this was his favorite place to sleep in his courtyard, he wanted to wake up his Junior brother but stopped at the last moment

"This time I let you go, but this is the only and last time that you will be sleeping there in my chair."

Senior Brother Zhong went into the small hatch, and prepared his bed as he was about to lie down, he heard a loud snort, he thought that it was a pig, however it came from Bi Fang.

This annoyed him even more, but he just let it pass.

The Sun started to rise, the birds began singing and the city started to become lively again

"BI FANG! WAKE UP!" Senior Brother Zhong was trying his best to wake Bi Fang up, however he just didn't want to.

"HOW LONG DO YOU PLAN TO SLEEP!" Senior Brother Zhong wanted to depart before the sun rose, but now it's already morning.

Bi Fang slowly opened his eyes and said in a tired tone

"Senior brother? what are you doing already so early in the morning?"

"so early?, early you say!?" Senior Brother Zhong knew it would be hard with Bi Fang, however to be this difficult, he didn't expect it.

"we need to depart now and go to our training ground" Senior Brother Zhong knew discussing with him would be useless

Bi Fang started to pick the dirt from his eyes and was now fully awake and asked

"Where are we going? you said something about a training ground."

"Sigh, yes, we'll be going to the misty forest, it should be 1 or 2 hours away from the Bangshen City, so we need to go now before it's too late."

As the both of them made their way towards the City gate, Bi Fang asked

"Why is it called the misty forest, is it a forest in a big mist or what?"

"It's called the misty forest because a large mist is covering the whole forest. It is said that a cloud from the sky fell, and was now lying there on the ground." Senior Brother Zhong answered.

"But don't worry, most of the time we won't be staying in the mist, in the center of the misty forest there is about a 1 kilometer radius where there is no mist, the center has many big waterfalls, high mountains, and a few hot springs" Senior Brother Zhong was quite unsure on how he will deal with that.

The trail towards the misty forest was peaceful because no ordinary person would dare to enter or go near it.

Many People have gone missing while exploring the misty forest, because one's sense of direction is mixed up there. So anyone that doesn't have an exceptional sense of direction is most likely to get lost.

"Bi Fang, we have arrived, make sure that you stay near me the whole time, got it?" Senior Brother Zhong had to make sure that he won't lose Bi Fang in the mist, or it will take months to find him.

"Sure sure, Senior Brother Zhong, i will hold on to you until we arrive in the center." Bi Fang was still as calm as usual, as he didn't know the danger in the misty forest.

The both of them made their way towards the center after a few incense sticks of time, they arrived.

Many Mountains, Waterfalls and Hot springs.

The Mountains all had different heights one had about 100m, the other 250m, the other 500m and so on, the same goes for the waterfalls, the springs however were different, the springs all had different temperatures.

"Junior Brother Bi, from now on you will train, sleep and hunt here. You need to climb each mountain at least one time, for the Waterfalls you need to stay under the pressure of the falling water for many hours until you feel like your whole body is being ripped apart. And for the Springs it is almost the same as the waterfalls, you need to stay there for many hours. It depends on how long you can hold on. While you train, I will watch over you."

Senior Brother Zhong didn´t have such intentions, he wanted to relax in the hot springs and enjoy the scenery of nature.

"Okay, you got it, Senior Brother, then I will start with the Mountains." Bi Fang said this with a plentiful amount of confidence.

Bi Fang didn´t know that he would have a hell of a training.

"Ah yes, and dont forget, that by training here you will get twice the result with half the effort" Senior Brother Zhong said this with a devil like smile, as he was enjoying to torture his Junior Brother.
