Chapter 12

Bi Fang was already on the way towards the Bangshen City, despite the fact that he didn't know where to go.

"Shit, shit, shit, where am I? Sect Master just said it's in the North, but I don't even know where North is!"

Bi Fang looked really helpless, a 5 year old child in the middle of nowhere, he didn't follow the road, he just went through the unknown forest.

*Rustle*

Suddenly, a rustle could be heard in the front, this scared Bi Fang so much that he rushed behind a tree to take cover, from whatever was in there.

He waited for a few breaths, before he took a peek out.

What met him was a female with short black hair that reached her shoulders and a slim body. The female looked really exhausted, maybe she was hunting something, or something was hunting her.

"cough cough, why is it so hard to catch that damn bird from master." The female said exhaustingly.

She suddenly began looking at Bi Fang's direction and the tree that he was hiding.

"Sigh, I see your Sword peeking out, if you hide yourself, at least make sure that nothing can be seen, not even your clothes or hair."

The female was speaking quite informally, and she didn't look scared or shocked that there was someone hiding there.

The moment however, she got outside the bush, the sword immediately scared her. After seeing that the sword was quite low, she expected the person to be a small child.

Bi Fang then stepped outside of the trees blocking view and stood there with his sword unsheathed.

"Hey, who are you, what are you doing here?" Bi Fang's voice was still trembling from the shock from before, he tried his best to hide it but he couldn't suppress it.

The female started laughing, seeing a small young boy, acting strong.

"pff, i am just here to train, but what is a young boy like you doing here, did you get lost or something."

BI Fang started to blush slightly, which made the female laugh even more.

"hahaha, sorry, I didn't mean it that way, but where are you heading to?" She said in a gentle voice, in order to loosen up the situation a bit.

"Hmph, why should I tell you, I don't even know who you are" Bi Fang tried to speak as loudly as he can, to intimate the person.

"Okay okay, I am Li Li, you can just call me Li and may I ask your name." Li quickly responded, before he would try anything funny

"Hmph, I am Bi Fang" Bi Fang didn't want to answer at first, however seeing that she was also answering he didn't mind

A silence stayed between them, before Li asked again

"So, where are you heading to, maybe I can show you the way or just tell you where it is" Li said with a calming voice.

Bi Fang didn´t want to answer it or give out any information, however after thinking about it, he didn't know where to go and he would stay lost for a long time.

"I am on my way towards the Bangshen City, I need to attend something"

"Oh okay, the Bangshen City I am actually on my where there too, how about accompanying me, so then you wouldn't get lost." saying the last few words she began laughing again.

Something however made Li a bit hesitant to accompany him and that was the clothes the young boy was wearing, a red robe that had a circle skewed into the chest, however she didn´t know where she had seen this before and ignored it, since she thought "It's just a young boy, what can he do to me, I am already at the Late Stage of the Foundation Establishment realm".

"Okay, then I will follow you."Bi Fang was already helpless, so why not accept help from Li.

"Then should we depart now?" Li asked Bi Fang and looked at him with a sincere look

"mhm, let's depart now, I should be late already, I think that my Senior Brother is already turning the City upside down and look for me"

That's what Bi Fang thought, however the truth was different.

Senior Brother Zhong was sleeping on a chair in his Courtyard, as if nothing could shake his peace.

As the two of them made their way, they didn't speak about anything, they were just silently walking.

As they were walking down the path towards the Bangshen City, a group of bandits jumped out of different bushes and trees,

A number of four bandits surrounded them, they all wore nothing except some leather clothes and fur. All of them had a big body, almost thrice the size of Bi Fang.

Li began so shake tremendously and mutter

"th- its the fou- four bear gang!?"

Bi Fang looked at her and asked "four bear gang, what a weird name, couldn´t they come up with a better name?"

"HEY YOU, what are you talking about, we are the great four bears gang, our Boss and vice Boss are at the Foundation Establishment Realm."

One of the four said, he was bald and looked a bit stupid, he had scars all over his face, which would scare their victims.

As he said this the Boss and vice Boss stood there proudly.

"Ehm okay, so what?" Bi Fang asked them in a mocking tone

"what do you mean, so what? Give us all your precious items and well let you leave in one piece." The bald man said full of arrogance

Bi Fang copied his arrogance and said "But what if I dont feel like giving you my stuff."

This comment shocked Li she just thought "How is such a young boy arrogant is such a situation"

"Hahaha, The Newborn Calf does not fear the Tiger, I like you!" The bald man said, he was now excited because no one would dare speak to them in such manners.

"now now, enough with the jokes" after the bald man said this, the atmosphere started to change.

Li could be seen trembling and sweating "Why did he have to anger them, is he courting death!?"

The Bald man rushed forward and in a blink of a second, he appeared before Bi Fang with his arm ready to punch him.

Bi Fang stood there unfazed after all, the bald man didn't have any cultivation, he might be exceptional as a normal human being, however against a cultivator the difference is immense.

Bi Fang took the punch, not with his hands, but with his own body.

This shocked the bald man, he didn't think that a young boy like him would be this strong, afterall he fought against many cultivators before and was almost on par with them, however this time he messed with the wrong person.

The bald man quickly jumped back and looked at Bi Fang with scared eyes.

His boss, the guy with hair as short as a pieces of dusts asked him in a dumbfounded tone

"Yo baldy, stop messing around and get it done."

The boss was quite calm however for badly it was different.

He started breaking out in sweats after knowing that he is no match for him.

"Shit what should I do? Should I kneel and apologize to this kid, he might be stronger than the boss!".

He needed to think fast and decided to kneel and beg for mercy.

"Please, please forgive my offense your excellency, if you forgive me I'll open up a new page in my life, and wont do anything bad."

Baldy was now kneeling like he had seen his ancestor, asking him for mercy.

This surprised Bi Fang, he started smiling and said "Sure sure, I forgive you, but what about them, do you think they will just stand idle."

Baldy looked back at the Boss, to see him fuming with rage, veins popping out everywhere.

"Yo Baldy, after I am done with this kid, you're next! Vicey comes here, we both take him on. Don't regret it little kid!"

As both of them started walking towards Bi Fang, Li was just standing there, she looked like her soul left her body.

Both of the men rushed synchronized at Bi Fang with their fist straightened out, ready to punch him in the head.

Bi Fang quickly dodged down and punched the vice boss in the most precious part of his body.

The vice boss was now lying on the floor crying and coughing like his whole family was wiped out, which might be true at some point.

the boss looked at the vice boss with surprised eyes.

Bi Fang rushed towards the boss and hitted him

"Yo vicey, you should be more cauti-"

He once again hit the most precious part of the mens body.

Li couldn't help but laugh, who would've thought that he uses such methods to deal with the two of them.

Bi Fang stood in front of them like he was disciplining his kids

"Hey boss and vice boss, if you apologize like the bald guy here, I will let you go."

Bi Fang suddenly remembered that there were four guys and three of them were lying now infront of him.

The fourth guy was kneeling too, however a few meters away, he didn't dare to do anything, after seeing his boss getting beat.

"I apologize for offending you great master, we won't be doing anything bad from now on!"

All of the four said synchronized, which made Bi Fang laugh a bit.

"Okay okay, you may go now, but don't let me see you again!"

Bi Fang said with a tone that made them all shiver.

After that the four bear gang ran away and wouldn't stop until, they are safe

"Let's keep going," Bi fang said as if nothing happened.

"eh, okay we should arrive soon, so let's walk fast" Li was still in shock, seeing the four bear gang ran away, who are feared by many.

After walking an incense stick of time, they arrived already.

Seeing the Main Gate with soldiers impressed Bi Fang, Li however was different; it looked like she had seen this many times before.

"We arrived at Bangshen City, it's one of the three big cities on the Shining Fields continent." Li said proudly.

After she didn't hear Bi Fang, she looked left and right, only to see that he wasn't there anymore.

Bi Fang already went through the Main Gate and disappeared in the big crowd.
