Jin started completing his quest. The reason why he don't want to not complete the training is because of the penalty. Jin experience this penalty when he was 1 years old

Jin had no choice but to start running but since his body was just a child body he couldn't even last 10 minute but that was the required time for the punishment to end

As Jin continue training Maki didn't leave him alone so after he is done training
