Update!/Side story

Well, hello.

It's been like years since I've written anything, at least that's what it'll look like to you guys. However, I've been wondering if you guys would be willing to read another Overlord fanfic if I write one. This time, with better grammar and less cringe... Though, I would still like this fanfic to be creative and would like to pour all my heart into it, just like I did last time (but not in a cringe way. Even I find the old fanfic pretty cringe).

Anyway, I just wanted to say a new Overlord fanfic might be on the way. This time, with better grammar and an overall better story. (Though the MC will be OP but without any systems this time.)

I have a general idea in my mind. I'll try to conceptualize it and bring it to paper (to my laptop) and see where it goes.

Anyway, before that, here's something that I wrote but never published. (I'll remind you, the grammar is messed up, and it's just pure cringe. but I'll need words to publish it, so.)

In the bustling centre of the Kohaku city, people were walking around having tired expression on their face. Most of the people had their work suits on. However, there were still many, who wore normal clothes. Them being school students or young people, who are rich .

This part of the city was mostly populated by rich and wealthy. Or office workers, who had their main office branch located in here. They get small apartments to live in, for working all day.

Most of the people here didn't wore any masks. And those that did are paranoid people, who are afraid of even breathing the air outside of their home. These kinds of people were normal. After all, the disease that you can acquire from even a small sniff of the polluted air is not something anyone wants to afford.

Not to mention, how costly the treatment would be, If you got sick. You can either throw money at hospital's to treat you, Or pray to your God to save you. If you believe in god that is.

Religion was, but a fleeting dream for the people in Japan. Not only were there many religious people that had hands in the Nuclear war. Most of the politicians, that were very religious were bad people and were exposed by large bussinesses, who owned media publishing plateforms. Ruining the reputation and following of many big religions.

In the already non believing Japan. Religion was nothing but a relic of past now. Even in their death bed, people nowadays only remember the times when the world used to be a good place.

All those things aside. The central street of Kohaku was a very lively place. Because many rich and wealthy well earned people lived and came here to enjoy their time. Wether it's with their loved ones or with their colleague's. It was unlike the other streets of the Kohaku city. It was filled with smiles. Despite the reality of the world.

However, today, the main streets of the Kohaku city was even more lively. Or it can be called more crowded and cheerful. And it was all thanks to a couple, that was walking through this streets, Without wearing any mask, revealing their face for the world to see and gasp at.

Guy's in the street, seeing the girl, who was wearing a winter jacket with a skirt and leggings covering her legs. Thought, she was a beautiful girl. Her brown gray-ish hair only accented her Beauty. Not to mention, her voluptuous figure that can make any women jealous.

Nevertheless, the entire crowds main focus was the young man beside her, who she was proudly Linking her arms with. Showing their status as a couple.

Noah was wearing a red jacket, above a black turtleneck. His brown hair slightly long flowed down his shoulder. Each strands of his hair looked precious, glistening in the evening sky of the city. His vibrant blue eyes, looked like they contained beautiful sky within them. Giving the onlookers illusion of a beautiful ocean, that doesn't exist. His handsome and charming face seems to have been carved by God himself, as it looked precious and fragile yet ferocious. Any female onlookers that looked at him, wether they were single or not, were having hearts in their eyes looking at him.

His long legs fitted with sneakers. Made him look like someone, who was sporty despite having no bulk in his body his toned and leaned muscles were evident with his slightly longer height. If someone told the people here, that he was the most popular actor in the world. they would believe him.

Just the way he carried himself, made people feel inferior to him.

Men looked at him with jealousy and envy hidden in their eyes. Meanwhile, girls looked at him with infatuation as if they have discovered a new sweetheart. Some highschool girls even thought of approaching him, but were frozen before they can even get closer to him, because of the menacing glare that was briefly directed to them by Akane.

However, Noah was indifferent to their loving, awe filled and envious gazes. He was used to it. It was same in his past life. And he has already been coming here for dates with Akane. But they always wore masks, so as to not le t anyone know about their relationship because Noah was still 15 before. But now he was 16. An adult. He didn't had to care about anything and can go on dates with Akane, without any problems.

So, he did just that. Noah and Akane flirted all the way they walked through the streets. Their love filled words for each other and their ignorance to the people around them, made them only look more like a couple, who was not in the same world as the other people around them.

Right now, they were on their way to the new restaurent that opened near the city centre. Nami was also going to meet them there. But she was going to be a little late due to her colleagues having some short of congratulatory party today. But she said, she'll come as soon as she finished her greetings.

Noah and Akane said it was fine. And they'll get some even more alone time. So it was fine for them, Akane even more.

They planned to visit the mall before meeting with Nami. Having a short date.

"Aren't you a little too happy today ?" Noah asked, seeing Akane's expression, who was rubbing her face on his jacket sleeve while holding his hand. She was talking to him with a little too much enthusiasm today.

Hearing Noah's question, Akane just looked at him with a pout before saying. " I'm always happy, when I'm with you."

" I know that. But you are acting suspicious today. "

" W-what!?" Akane stuttered a little, at Noah's question.

Looks like he has grasped the right tail. Time to get the answer.

"Aren't you cute, hiding something from me. I wonder,.what it is, that you are hiding from your beloved brother." Noah held Akane's hand and softly carresed it while speaking. His sweet and seductive voice sending shivers down her spine.

" Ahh..." Akane, not being able to bear with his teasing, just pouted before stroding off, leaving Noah behind.

Noah sighed, before following Akane, and stopping her by holding her hands.

" Fine! don't tell me. But I'm not sleeping with you tonight." Noah said sternly, as if he is taking a candy from some child.

".That's my privilege as your sister! You can't take that from me! It's illegal!" Akane shouted a little, as she looked at Noah. Her eyes showing concern, as if he has done her injustice.

" And is it legal to seduce your younger brother, by showing her your na-" before Noah can finish his words, Akane covered his mouth by pressing him into her breasts.

All the people on the streets, stopped walking for a second and were looking at them as if they were the most interesting thing in the world. The guy's felt jealousy towards Noah. To get your head pressed onto soft melons, it was their dream, but they can't live it. Yet a handsome guy, that was unreachable was having them.

They can only sigh and accept the fact that, they weren't as special as him.

" Okay, okay, I won't say anymore, let me go, Akane nee, I can't breath!" Noah shouted, holding his hands up, giving up on talking about the topic.

Akane,.seeing Noah's hands up, finally let him go. But seeing him smile, despite that made her blush for some reasons. As if he has already realized her plan.

' that shouldn't be possible right ? Only Nami knows about it. ' Akane thought inwardly.

" Let's go now. I want to eat crepe. " Noah said holding Akane's hands again. Which she let him do. He then pulled her towards him, Linking his arms with her.

" What crepe do you want ? "

" Hm.. i want to eat chocolate crepe. What about you Akane nee ?"

" Hmm.. i would also eat chocolate crepe today. But only if you feed me. " Akane said with a sly smile.

" Is that so, then i guess, we'll have to eat something else, that you can feed yourself. " Naoh said, with a mischevious smile that made Akane's lips twitch.

" Fine. I'll feed you the crepes with my hand, if you give me a kiss right now. " Said Noah trying to make Akane feel embarrassed.

However, to his surprise, she didn't even waited a second, before she pressed her lips against his, holding his neck in the process, to get a better grip. In front of the eyes of hundreds of people that were looking at them like some kind of show.

It was not a peck. But a full blown kiss.

Seeing Akane's blush growing, Noah hurriedly seperated their lips. " Fine! I'll feed you, Then." Noah said in a loud voice, as if he has lost.

" Haha. " Akane laughed, at Noah's slightly flustered expression.

Noah also can't help but gave a hearty laugh at his own reaction. He was not new to showing affection in public. If it's just kissing and hugging, he is fine with it.

But still doing it in this world, was his first time. Noah sighed in his heart, as he once again pulled his sister towards the mall.

They continued their date, by talking and flirting with each other. They visited the mall and Akane brought many clothes. For herself. And well for Noah as well. She made him wear hundreds of different clothes and brought almost all of them. Which were all expensive.

Well they didn't lacked money, so it was not a problem. but when the staff saw Noah, they decided to call their manager. And when the manager came, he asked if Noah wanted to be their brands model. Which Noah obviously refused. If he wanted to become model he would've already become the top model. But he didn't. He had no interest in that. He had a social media account however, and his followers were over 100 million. once again, to remind you folks. 100 million is almost 10 percent of the worlds population right now.

What Noah wore was the new trend. That's how the things were working now.

After checking out, buying all the clothes. They went to eat crepes. Which obviously, Noah had to feed Akane with his hands.

She showed a blissful expression, when getting fed. Which made every girl in the surroundings cry in envy.

Right now, they were walking through a commercial Street of Kohaku city. It was filled with various shops and high rise buildings that were owned by huge companies.

Noah and Akane were still the same holding each other's hands. and as usual. The couple attracted a lot of attention. Now,.that it was night time, there were many office workers that were going their way home and saw Noah and Akane and were looking at Noah in disbelief before sighing a breath of envy looking at Akane.

These office workers were working all day. Not even being able to socialize with people much. Their life was caged by the companies they work for. The free time they get on the weekend's and night. Most of the people surely spend it on spending with their loved ones. And those who didn't had any family, probably spend their time watching some anime or playing some VR games.

Noah was looking at the tired office workers, that were going their way home. Some were alone, while some in a Group. However, one thing was evident in their eyes. And that was relief. Relief probably, because they were going to spend their time resting. After a tired day at work.

Noah's blue eyes, reflected the serene yet melodic street lights, that Illuminated the streets. Along with the high rise buildings, Making it truly look like a futuristic sci-fi world. However, there were no flying cars. Nor was there a clean air that it can fly on. All there was to see, were the dead tired office workers. And the dome of glass filled with people that will one way or another way become slave of big bussinesses.

However, he didn't care for this world enough to help it. Nor did he had any world bending powers that can help. And even if he did, he surely wouldn't help. What's there to help in a world that has created selfish people for generations ?

Wasn't it better if the world just destroyed itself. Unless they actually have a prospect of life and they revamped the world, by creating new technologies. That can help their world grow better.

Either way, Noah shoved all these thoughts away form his head, as he focused his mind on the restaurent in front of him.

He could see a very luxurious restaurant in front of him. The glass walls of the restaurent were reflective, reflecting people going around them.

He saw near the restaurent were very expensive cars parked. Showing that this restaurant was for the richest of the rich.

Noah and Akane didn't cared for any of that, and entered the restaurent through the automatic sliding door, that opened for them to pass through.

As soon as they entered the establishment, they were greeted by a waitress.

" W-welcome to the Haven Steaks, w-would you like seat for two?" The waitress asked, while stuttering. Glancing at Noah with a red face. It was a normal reaction for any girl, that wasn't used to Noah's presence.

" No, I've already booked a private VIP room, you can check this. " Noah handed his phone, opening up his reservation confirmation.

The waitress was shocked a little. Because she thought, Noah was some new model, that wanted to spend his money on an expensive restaurent for the first time.

But when she saw his reservation was already confirmed. She understood that she was probably dealing with someone very extraordinary. Not only were his looks inhumane almost impossible to be true. But he might also be son of some influential and rich person. She better not offend him. And looking at his side. The lady holding his hand, was probably his girlfriend, she assumed.

" Let me guide you to your, private room, sir.", The waitress said, as she led Noah and Akane tor the VIP room. They walked together making the entire restaurant chatter about them. Noah's appearence has always caused huge commitions it was nothing new.

" Please take your seat. " The waitress said " I'll bring the menu and water immediately. " Leaving those words, the waitress left.

Noah looked at the private VIP Room, that was about the size of a big living room. It had a big glass window that showed the view of the outside street. A one way window, meaning no one can see from outside but one can see from inside clearly.

Akane and Noah sat side by side. The Private room had a huge U shape sofa that had a huge table. It can easily afford 8 people.

However, Noah and Akane were alone right now. So there was plenty of space. But they still sat side by side.

" What did Nami said when she called you?" Noah asked stroking Akane's head. Straddling her uneven hair to even up.

" She said, she'll be here in 20 minutes. " Akane said with a blissful expression on her face.

" I see.. let's eat some appetizers, before she comes. I'm sure she wouldn't mind. "

" Yeah! She said we should start eating. " Akane said.

And a second later, the same waitress that led them to their private room came came with three menus in her hand. And behind her followed some more waitresses, that bring in refreshments, like water and bread for obvious reasons.

All the other waitress, except the one that led them here left. Leaving only her behind.

" I'll take your orders. Sir and ma'am." The waitress said,.standing a little far away from them.

Noah didn't mind and took the menu in his hand, so did Akane.

They both looked at the menu. And after reading it and checking out all the dishes, Noah looked at the waitress and she came running towards him immediately, awaiting for the order.

" I would take chicken Spring rolls with fries. And also, Onion soup. "

" What about you Akane nee ?" Noah asked Akane, who was still thinking about what to order.

The waitress looked a little shocked, when Noah called Akane, 'Nee' showing that she was an older sister. But from how close they were, holding hands. She thought of they were a couple. She didn't understood anything so she pushed the matter back into her head.

" Hm... I'll take only fries." Akane said, putting the menu back on the table.

" Understood." The waitress noted down the orders on her small tablet and left the VIP room closing it.

" Did you told Nami to come to the right room. Knowing her personality, she would probably get lost. "

"It's fine! I send her the other resevervation pass and told her to ask the waitress to show the room." Akane said giggling at Noah's care for Nami. She didn't felt jealous. After all, she knew how much Noah loved her. And even if he cared about Nami. It was fine. She was only a. Friend, for now...

After ordering the food, they continued their conversation talking about random things. Like the waitress, that were flustered when they saw Noah. And about the streets of the Kohaku city. And also about Nami.

After a few minutes had passed. Two waitresses came, bringing their food inside the private room and left them alone to enjoy their meal. While leaving a tablet behind. That they can use to order the food. The waitress had forgot to actually put the tablet behind Making a blunder. Which she is regreting probably.

Noah and Akane started eating, continuing their conversation while eating. Noah fed some of his spring rolls to akane while Akane enjoyed being fed by Noah.

Just as Noah was about to take another frie, he saw the door of the private room open.
