PA100 Arc: Louis

"No way," Riley muttered as he reached for a Fire Fruit lying in the cart. He quickly grabbed a hold of of a round red fruit and stuck it in his mouth. His injuries receded and he suddenly felt an immense amount of power surging inside of him. "No way...am I gonna let myself become a hostage!" The determined boy rapidly threw more and more Fire Fruits into his mouth until the cart was completely depleted of them.

Cody's jaw dropped, "He actually ate all of them..."

The man eyes widened in shock, "Is that boy insane?! He can't properly digest those all at once!"

"Joke's on you," Riley smirked as a huge amount of intense fire swirled around him. "I love to eat, so a bunch of random fruits is nothing!" He pulled both his hands back and shouted, "Fire Ball!" He pushed his hands forwards as a flaming ball was hurled towards the man in a split second knocking him off his feet.

Riley appeared right in front of the airborne man and sent a barrage of blows his way. He kept up the assault until they were near the ground and then, "Fire Kick!" Riley swung his blazing leg causing the man to skid across the ground.

Cody grinned as the Water User landed right next to his feet, "Wind Kick!" His leg was surrounded by wind as he kicked the man back to Riley.

"Fire Punch!" Riley slammed his flaming fist down on the man causing the ground to break apart with rocks flying up in the air. Dust blew around in the area where Riley's powerful attack had occurred.

Once the dust cleared up, the bruised and battered man glared at Riley, "I'll make sure you pay for that you, little brat. Sharaka!"

Riley and Cody both gasped as they realized what would happen next. Cody was still standing in the same spot, so the demonic hands latched onto him instead. Riley stared up at the huge aqua bony hands as they squeezed his mentor's throat tighter and tighter, "Mentor Cody!"

The young Fire User grunted, "Let him go!" He shot off his feet and pummeled at the enormous hands. But not a single blow managed to so much as dent the hands. "Darn it..."

"Just hand me the PA100 and I won't have to kill you," The threatening enemy said as he walked closer to Cody.

"Stay away from him!" Riley shouted as he chucked a shuriken which was easily deflected.

Cody smirked, "No way in hell."

"Your persistence annoys me," The brunette said with a glare. "Sharaka, kill hi-" His eyes suddenly widened in surprise. And then a relieved grin crossed over his face, "I see, so then the PA100 is with the other ones, huh?" Cody's face scrunched up as he was released from the demonic hands' grasp.

The pony tailed man stared down at the Ovala King, "You're a sneaky one, I'll give you that much." And with that he walked away.

"Mentor Cody, what are you waiting for?! We have to after him!" Riley shouted with impatience.

Cody simply shook his head, "No, that's not our Quest. We're suppose to deliver the PA100 and that's it."

"But..."

"No buts, and besides, did you forget? We still have to go warn Junko and Ashley about the inn robber."

Riley's chin shot up, "That's right! Come on, let's go already!" The dark haired boy bolted down the road.

Louis sighed as he reached into his holster, "I guess they really don't take me seriously. So then, are you little twerps ready to give up now?" Louis pulled out his gun as he finished his sentence. He aimed it at Ashley's forehead, "Move a muscle and the girl dies."

Junko grunted before glancing back at Ashley, "Hey, stay behind me, okay?"

Ashley nodded, "Uh sure. But what are you planning to do?"

Junko smirked, "I plan...to fight!" Junko yelled out as he charged for Louis with his fist pulled back.

Ashley's eyebrow twitched furiously, "Idiot, that's your plan?!"

"Shadow Punch!" Junko's shadowy fist ran straight for Louis' face but was easily avoided with a simple sidestep.

"What?!" The bearded man shouted in suprise as a kunai with a paper bomb was launched at the bearded man. Smoke billowed up as a result from the explosion. When it cleared however, Louis was standing in a spherical shield of water. "Heh, that was a close one. But I've had enough of this, it's time for you two brats to die!"

Junko swiftly pulled out his kunai, but Louis grabbed onto his wrist and slammed him into the floor.

"Junko!" Ashley cried out. She pulled both her hands back as a ball of water started forming in between them. "Water Ball!" She thrust her hands forward as the ball ejected from them.

Louis smirked, "Water Reflect." A mirror appeared in front of him and deflected the ball back at Ashley, knocking her into the wall.

Junko grunted, "Darn you..."

Louis aimed his gun at Junko, "Didn't I tell you not to move a muscle?"

"Yeah, so what?" Junko scowled at his enemy. "Listen, I have no problem doing whatever most people ask of me. I want to be respectful like Ninju taught me. But when it comes to people like you...then I don't care what the heck you say!"

The robber clicked his tongue, "You're getting on my last nerve, brat." He slowly placed his finger on the trigger-

And then was pierced in the hand by an arrow composed of wind. The gun dropped to the floor with a thud. "Dammit, who did that?!" Louis shouted with rage scanning around the inn.

Cody walked up next to Junko and Ashley with Riley at his side. The heavy man folded his arms with pride, "That'd be me."

"Mentor Cody!" Junko and Ashley both shouted out in relief.

"I'm here too you know..." Riley sulked.

"Great, more pests," Louis growled as he picked up his gun. "I'm finishing this now." He pulled on the trigger and...nothing came out. Raising his eyebrow, he pulled on it again. And again. And again. He furiously pulled on the trigger faster and faster causing Junko and his team all to sweatdrop.

"Umm, is that dude okay?" Riley whispered to Junko.

"I don't know, he was only a little crazy when he first got here," Junko whispered back.

"He probably ran out of bullets. Just like a true idiot," Ashley scoffed. "You two should know all about that."

Louis grunted, "I can hear you, you little punks!"

Junko placed both his hands behind his back, put his right leg far in front of the other, and bent his knees, "Alright, here I go." He launched off his feet in a blinding speed. He shot his leg up, knocking the gun out of Louis' hand and through the ceiling. Debris from the top of the inn crumbled down. "Remember, when I told you not too hurt, Ashley? Well, here's my payback!" Junko delivered a crushing kick to his face sending him flying across the room. "Shadow Kick!" The Shadow User slammed his darkness covered leg into the bald man's rib cage, the tiles from the floor rising as he did so.

"Alright, way to go Junko!" Riley cheered. "But now it's my turn. Everyone get ready to see something epic!" He reached into the grocery bag where the various fruits were. And stuffed a dozen random ones into his mouth. Running for Louis he pulled his fist back, "I'll finish this with one...blow..." And then he puked on the bald man's shoes.

Louis scowled in disgust, "What the hell is wrong with you, little punk?!" His fist slammed into Riley's gut, knocking the boy to the floor.

"You idiot! I told you not to eat any of the ones that weren't Fire Fruits!" Cody scolded the ignorant Fire User.

"You could've told me that a little sooner, Mentor Cody," Riley groaned as he held onto his waist.

"I did!" Cody shouted furiously. "Never mind, just forget about it," he said with a sigh. "I'll be the one to finish this with one blow."

Louis smirked, "Go ahead and try. I may not have any bullets left but I'm still a very skilled-"

"Wind Barrage!" Cody called out as a massive wave of wind overtook the area. It pummeled Louis as if there were a thousand fists striking his groin. Cody quickly appeared behind the robber shooting his fist across the man's jaw. Louis collided with the floor as a result of the powerful attack. "I'm sorry, a very skilled what now? I couldn't hear you over the sound of you getting your ass whopped."

"Damn you," Louis scowled with fury. "I can't...I won't let it end like this..."

Stay cautious," Cody muttered to his students while slowly stepping forward.

Scraping his hands across the floor, the defeated man rose back to his feet and...tears flowed down his face.

"He's crying?!" Ashley shouted in disbelief at the enemy' sudden change in mood.

"All I wanted was to become a member of the Gurarano Four again...I thought that if I proved my strength by wiping out all of the inns in section 2 I would be reaccepted."

Cody blinked, "Kay bye."

"That's it?!" Louis yelled in shock. "Aren't you supposed to be touched my story and give me a speech or something now?!"

"Story was lame anyway," Riley scoffed.

Cody raised his eyebrows, "Why would I do that?"

"Becase you're an Ovala King, ya numskull!"

Oh right," Cody chuckled. "Don't drink and drive and stay in school!"

"I'm twenty-five years old!"

The innkeeper ran up to Cody in a hurry, "Hey listen,"

Cody held his hand out, "Don't worry, no need to thank us. We're just doing our jobs as members of Ovala Academy."

"I wasn't going to thank you," The innkeeper corrected the Ovala King with a deadly glare. "I was going to ask how you plan on fixing this? You destroyed my property!"

Cody looked around at the crumbling ceiling, ruined floor, and shattered windows,"Uh, put it on my tab...?"
