Chapter 111: Grief Part 2

"Mom, Mom," a young Leo was excitedly calling out for his mother. "Look, I made a paper plane."

His busy mother stopped what she was doing to pay attention to her proud son. She made an amused expression which made Leo more proud of himself.

"My, my," young Leo gave the paper plane to his mother. "Should we test it?"

Leo, along with his beautiful mother, went out to their garden. The weather seems to be on Leo's side at that time. It was a windy day. The sky filled with ash-colored clouds that were full of all the evaporated water. The water will soon drench the whole Earth and quench the thirst of all the living things whose throats and soils have dried.

"Here you go."

Enthusiastically, Leo threw the paper plane. It set out freely going along with the wind. It didn't stop there. The paper plane got swept up, up in the sky.

"Mom, I want to become a pilot and take you to places you've never been."
