When Cheng Zinuo saw Xu Zhiwen buying the Tiramisu and handing it to her, her expression froze and her heart seemed to sink.

Ironically, she mistook Xu Zhiwen's voice for Du Jinnian's.

She thought Du Jinnian was buying her the Tiramisu that she loved to eat the most, just like he did in the past.

Xu Zhiwen saw that Cheng Zinuo's eyes were empty, and he called out in confusion, "Sofia?"

Cheng Zinuo came back to her senses with an awkward expression on her face. She immediately took the Tiramisu that Xu Zhiwen gave her and thanked him with a smile.

When the rain outside the window lessened, Cheng Zinuo and Xu Zhiwen walked out of the shop with umbrellas in their hands.

As they passed through a quiet street, they were caught off guard as a group of hooligans came out to rob them.

One of the delinquents wrapped his arm around Cheng Zinuo's neck and placed the dagger against her waist.
