It's Cheese!!! (Updated, the chapter was revised.)

Nyx woke up from her sleep.

When she opened her eyes, the sun's blinding rays assaulted her eyes.

"Agh..." Nyx groaned closing her eyes.

A few moments later, she opened her eyes slowly trying to adjust her eyes from the light.

Rubbing her eyes, she turned to the side.

Nyx saw Ana was beside her, still asleep.

She couldn't help but stare at Ana's beautiful face in a daze.

'Oh, my darkness! She's so cute!!!' Nyx squealed internally.

Ana's face, her skin, her cheeks, her nose, her lips...

Ana's beautiful soft pink lips...

Nyx stared at Ana's lips, those soft attractive luscious lips!

She suddenly had an urge to capture those lips.

But seeing Ana's comfortable and peaceful sleeping face.

Nyx buried the thought before she blushed placing her hands on her face feeling embarrassed by such naughty thoughts.

A few moments later, she peeked through her fingers and stared at Ana's face once more.

Nyx ran a finger along the edge of Ana's hairline, tucking a lock of hair behind her.

She gently smiled before leaning in and placed a soft gentle kiss on Ana's forehead.

"Mia lav nu." Nyx murmured 'I love you' in Tevittar language.

Turning away from Ana, she looked at the alarm clock on the bedstand.

It's 9 am, in the morning!

Nyx widened her eyes in surprise, seeing the time.

It's already past the usual time Ana wakes up in the morning.

Nyx assumed that Ana came home late from work after she fell asleep, last night.

Shaking her head, Nyx sighed for Ana.

"Dummy, don't exhaust yourself, will you!" She muttered before getting up from the bed.

Walking towards the wardrobe, Nyx took out some clothes for herself to change before going to the bathroom to shower and freshen up.

Ana woke up as she sat up on the bed.

Rubbing her eyes, she looked around and saw Nyx was browsing on her phone nearby.

"You're awake! Did you sleep well?" Nyx asked Ana, catching her sitting up on the bed from a corner of her eyes.

"Mmmhmm..." Ana hummed.

"How long have you been awake?" Ana asked Nyx in Tevittarian.

Just as she finished, she suddenly realized that she spoke in Tavittarian to Nyx.

She was about to ask again in English, however Nyx surprised her by replying in Tevittarian.

"I just woke up not too long, are you hungry? I assume that you haven't eaten anything last night and went to sleep directly after arriving home."

Ana was stunned hearing Nyx speaking in Tevittarian fluently.

She didn't know that Nyx has learned the Tevittar language!

"Since when did you learn Tevittarian?" Ana asked Nyx.

"I learned after we met the first time. I also know about four thousand two hundred and twenty languages. Almost all of them are from my previous world, I only know the popular languages of earth and the almost dead language Latin." Nyx replied to Ana.

Ana was amazed by Nyx.

The fact that Nyx knows a few thousands of languages is mind-boggling knowledge to her.

She shook her head before replying to Nyx's previous question of whether she is hungry or not.

"Yes, I am. Have you had anything yet?"

"No."

"Then let me freshen up first before we go have breakfast together."

"Okay. Then I will go see if there's anything for us or not. If there isn't, then I will go make something for us."

Ana replied with a 'hmm' before she went to the bathroom.

Nyx walked out of the room to go to the kitchen.

At the dining table.

Nyx and Ana were having breakfast together.

Nyx looked like she was in deep thoughts.

Looking at Nyx, who was in deep thought, Ana asked Nyx about what's bothering her.

"A penny for your thoughts?"

Nyx coming out of her thoughts, shook her head replying to Ana.

"I'm thinking of Aurora..."

"What about her?" Ana inquired, curious about Nyx's thoughts.

"You guys have noticed it, right? How she avoids her past and how she ignores confronting her past. She's desperately holding on to her previous life... Clinging on to her past relationship and everything."

Ana sighed.

"It's mostly her children, her lovers and spouses. Denial sometimes helps with the feeling of loss but in her case--"

"Her pain is so overwhelming that she can't process the reality of her loss." Interrupting Ana, Nyx finished Ana's sentence.

Ana frowned before asking Nyx.

"How bad is it?"

"It's very bad, Ana! I thought she would be able to pull herself through, I gave her space and let her be. Unlike me, she had a lot to grieve. So I never interrupted her process of grief."

Nyx grit her teeth and clenched her fists, feeling angry at herself.

"It was a mistake, I should have intervened! I never would have thought that it could get that bad!"

Nyx sighed greatly before she told Ana about her thoughts.

"She is coping in a way that it's not just toxic for herself but others too. It has got to the point where Aurora is subconsciously repressing her feelings and her memories. When she becomes aware of it? She gives out reasonable excuses in a justifiable sense to avoid her feelings, acting as though everything is fine. Busing herself with work, constantly stressing herself into exhaustion, the sex, using people to fill the void in her heart... Ana, I can never replace her children. As for the others, unless they can bring down the barriers around her heart, they can never reside in her heart..."

"Hearing you speak and seeing your expression, I guess you already have decided on what to do?" Ana said after hearing Nyx.

"Hmm." Nyx hummed in response.

"I can't let be, so I have decided to force her to confront her past. She needs to move on!"

Nyx shook her head before she looked at Ana.

"Didn't you wanted to say something to me? What is it?"

Ana rolled her eyes hearing, Nyx.

"We have been going out for months, Nyx! And, You only kissed me a few times that I can count all of them with my fingers!" Ana said to Nyx, feeling frustrated.

Nyx blushed hearing Ana.

"I'm sorry, why don't we go on a date this weekend to make it up to you?" She replied feeling guilty.

"A date won't make up for it! I want something more!" Ana said to Nyx, pretending to be annoyed.

Nyx bit her lips feeling embarrassed.

"That's not all, even Li Hwa is feeling frustrated by Aaron."

Another attack on Nyx's conscience.

Nyx wanted to dig a hole and bury herself in it.

"I-I- I'M NEW AT THIS!!! ITS EMBARASSING YOU KNOW!" Nyx replied raising her voice as she buried her face in her arms.

"I'm sorry, but it's just so new for me and I don't know what to do! I want to kiss you and hold you and do much more. However, my brain short circuits when I try to think about it. It overwhelms me, I'm getting used to it. I'm so shy, you know. Give me some time, please!" She said to Ana in a soft voice.

Ana smiled mischievously.

She was only teasing Nyx, she didn't mean to upset Nyx.

For Nyx, love is an emotion completely new to her.

"Hahaha, you look cute when you're embarrassed. I'm only teasing, you!" Ana laughed looking at Nyx.

"You're bad! Meanie~~"

Nyx pouted as she got up from her seat.

Walking to Ana, Nyx stood behind her.

"What are doing?" Ana asked in confusion.

Leaning near Ana's ear, Nyx whispered.

"Close your eyes."

Ana complied with Nyx and closed her eyes.

Nyx then took out the pendant she purchased the day of that unfortunate event at the mall.

She carefully put the pendant around Ana's neck.

"Now open."

Ana felt something on her neck.

Opening her eyes, she looked down and saw a beautiful cerulean blue diamond pendant.

Ana gasped in awe looking at the pendant, she went speechless for a few moments.

"T-This-This... It's beautiful!!!" She exclaimed touching the pendant.

"I bought it on the day of that unfortunate incident. I thought it would look good on you, I wanted to gift you sooner but... I forgot about it..." Nyx scratched the back of her neck feeling embarrassed.

Ana shook her head before she clasped Nyx's hand and raised it on her cheek.

Feeling the warmth of Nyx's hand, Ana replied to Nyx.

"It's okay, it was not your fault since a lot happened from then. I love this gift and I will cherish it!" Looking down on her neck, she stared at the beautiful pendant.

"It will remind me of you, especially your eyes." Ana said to Nyx, turning to her.

Nyx leaned closer to Ana and kissed Ana on her lips.

They kissed for a few seconds before breaking off.

"You taste like cheese! And I love it!!!" Nyx said to Ana after the kiss, as she gazed into her beautiful heterochromia eyes.

[Author's note: There wasn't much space in the Author's thought.

I kind of hate the fact that after this chapter, some major changes will happen to the story.

Because the person whom I based Erisviel from, told me to separate herself from Erisviel.

I changed a lot since Erisviel is one of the main supporting cast of the story.

The previous chapter 'Le Fay' was not the original chapter planned but it is what it is.

I'm working on how to fix it up, but no worries.

I already wrote a couple of chapter for her!

People won't be disappointed for sure!!!
