27. THE BOOK

(kiss ahead,and no prank this time 😶)

"Mom, We are home!!" Yao yao shouted as they entered the mansion.

"How are you all??"Mr Lu asked as all sat in the living room.

"Here's the drink!!"Mrs Lu chirped and gave all the drinks.

"Lili, how was your day??"Mrs Lu asked.

"It was good mom."

"I know he overwork but you will not dear..."she patted her head as lili chuckled.

And like this little bickering and chatting they all did their dinner and shiyi and Lili went to 'his' or say 'their' room as they all insisted them to stay here.

...

"Good morning Lili."yao yao greeted from the kitchen.

"Sis...why are you in the kitchen??? You just sit here and I'll help there!!"She made her sit on the chair while she went in the kitchen.

"Lili, you also sit there!! I can do it!!"Mrs Lu said.

"No mom, i wanna make some dishes too!!"Lili said while showing puppy eyes to her.

"Okk fine,you can make the sweet dish."And she immediately started taking the ingredients out.

"Breakfast is ready!!"She shouted after some time and all sat on the dining table.

Lili sat on a chair and shiyi was about to sit beside her when yao yao came before him and sat while smirking.

He walked around and sat in front of Lili. He don't know why but he was feeling disappointed. The dinner was served and all started eating but Lili can feel the similar pair of eyes on her making her feel sensations.

"Shiyi...eat!!"Mr Lu said while smirking and all looked up at him.

"Yeah I'm..!!"He said in his monotone and the elder couple shared a glance and smiled.

He went towards his car but then something hit in his mind. The gifts...ohh sh!t... How can he forgot. He looked behind but lili was not there and immediately opened the backside of his car.

*You dumb@ss!! She's right by calling you this!!!*

Shutup and tell me what should I do now!!! the flowers,they are in bad condition...and she is still not talking to me like she used too...in the office... it's sometimes but..

*What I can do?? You go and bring the new flowers and chocolates... really a dumb@ss!!!*

Stop cursing and think something...

"Why are you standing there??? We are already late."She said with a poker face and sat in the car as he sighed.

Why am I even doing this???

*Because SHE IS YOUR WIFE!!! *

Yeah yeah!!

He sat in the car with the thoughts in his mind about what to to next and how to do it.

...

It was the most hectic day as he was having continuous meetings all day with Lili following him all around. They were currently in a restaurant having dinner with their clients.

"Well Mr Lu, I would say you got a very beautiful lady.."Shiyi forced a smile but the way he was looking at Lili was making his blood boil.

The waiter came and all took the drinks except her. "Won't you drink miss??."he asked but before she could open her mouth Shiyi uttered.

"She doesn't drink.."And the client awkwardly looked at his cup back while Lili looked at Shiyi who was siping his drink in his full glory even if his hair were disheveled, with his glasses resting on his nose bridge. He suddenly looked towards her and she quickly looked down and sipped on her soft drink.

"Well, Mr Lu, we are glad that we can work together." They both shook their hands while standing up. He left from their while looking at Lili as Shiyi fisted his hands.

He held her wrist and went out of the restaurant,making her sit in the car and himself on the driving seat. Sending her home he went somewhere.

"But where?"Mr Lu asked.

"I don't know Dad.."She replied not paying attention to it.

And after all slept,his car stopped in front of the house. He came in with a bouquet of lavenders and a well wrapped box.

He didn't turned the lights on as he know he came late and just went to 'their' room. But he saw no one in the room but sighed a breathe of relief when he heard the sound of shower.

Placing the things on the nightstand she went to take his pyjamas and the door of the bathroom opened and there came she,making his eyes go wide and she herself screamed.

"Ahhhh!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!!! GET OUT!!!!"She screamed while throwing things she grabbed at him. While clutching the towel which was around her tightly.

"What do you mean by get out?? This is my room too!!"He said while coming towards her as she quickly turned around and rushed to the bathroom again.

"I'm in study,you can take your time."he said while smirking and went to the study and closed the door behind him.

The picture of her only in towel was still fresh in his mind but he shook his head and took a book from the shelf and continued from where he left.

"You can go and fresh up, I'll bring dinner.."He can see,her cheeks were red. He nodded and placed the book back on the table and went in the bathroom.

Lili was still in shock,he just saw her without clothes, means not without clothes but in the towel, can you believe it...because she can't.

Stupid...idiot... moron... dumb@ss...!!

And she continued saying these things until she calmed herself down and peeped throught the door. He was nowhere and she huffed and took her clothes before going in back.

She was about to go out of the room when she saw a bouquet and a box on the table. Going towards it,she picked up the bouquet and smelled the flowers while smiling widely.

Hmm...nice smell, i always liked them,but who brought it??

*Wait!!! Is it him???*

Why would he???

*to convince you or why???!!! You moron!!*

But...

*No buts...now go and bring something good for him to eat!!*

With it she placed the flowers back and went to the kitchen. Though they had dinner but it was late night and he will surely be hungry as she was. While he came outside from the bathroom but she was not there. He was still thinking of how to give the gift to her and just then she came in and saw him. All the moments starts coming in her mind as heat covered up her cheeks.

"Ahheem!!" She cleared her throat and he turned around to her while rubbing his hair with the towel. Placing his plate on his side she sat on the bed and started eating her chips.

"You didn't slept?"He asked. She wanted to but she can't. She was tired but sleep was far away from her.

"I couldn't" she replied casually without looking at him. He sighed

"Actually I went to buy something."he said and Lili stopped munching in her chips for a while but again started."hmm."She hummed while watching tv.

"Yeah for who you bought those flowers and that I don't know what's in the box.."She was curious to know.

*And why you think he didn't bought it for you??*

Why would he??

*Ask him..*

"For you."He replied to her and she looked at him with her mouth full with chips. He chuckled looking at her and she thought he was joking and again began watching tv.

Quickly going to the nightstand,he picked up the things and went towards her. "Lili I know what I did was wrong, so can you please forgive me?!"He said and she looked up at him who was standing there with the bouquet and the box.

"I...um.."he got no words to say more than this and hence forwarded the flowers to her. She was still sitting in the same position while looking at him.

Look i told you!! Now what are you doing?? Take it already i can't resist lavenders...

And she slowly took it. Smelling the fragrance again she smiled while closing her eyes. While he looked at her. He smiled a little watching her smile. "And these uh... chocolates."he uttered with difficulty making Lili come out of trance.

She took the box and there was a big box of so many chocolates.she grinned looking at it.there were so many chocolates. But there was a small box placed in beside it. She looked at it and then at him. "Open it." He said and she took it and opened it but she was shocked.

How did he???

*Omgg!!! How??? Lili!! I'm serious..just hug him gurlll.!!!!*

It is the anklet which i was about to buy but Seher dragged me somewhere.

*And he bought it for you!!! Omg!!!*

"How....did...this...y..yo-"She wasn't able to speak.

"Uh....i saw you when you was not able to buy it...so I...uh...-may I???"He wasn't able to speak more so he asked her and she nodded.

Giving him the anklet she pulled her right foot out and he sat in front of her,placing her foot in his lap,he pulled her pyjama up and put the anklet on it.

It was single,just like she liked it,on one foot.

"Thank you"she said meekly but enough loud for him to hear.

"No need.."He smiled showing his light dimples to her and she too smiled.

"So am I forgiven??"He asked and she looked at him.

Why not tease him???

*No you can't!!*

Just watch!!

"No."His eyes widened as he looked at her who smirked.His eyes narrowed and he quickly held her wrists and pinned her down. Lili took some time to realise and when she did,her eyes widened and now he was the one who was smirking.

His legs in between hers as he put all his weight on his forearms,

while his hands still pinning hers. Their bodies touching and there was not even space for a thread to pass. Their clothes being the only barrier.

"L...leave me!!"she said but he just smirked more and came closer to her,if possible.

"First say that you forgive me.."his famous smirk making her forget everything. As she wasn't able to hear what he was saying,their proximity doing no justice.

"Shiyi..leave me.."He heard her again as she struggled to get her wrists free but luck was not on her side.

His face came more closer to her and she stopped struggling, knowing if she moved, it will not be good.

His smirk was long gone as he observed her facial features. And finally his eyes went on her full,plumpy but dry lips. She licked her lips in order to moisturize them but it didn't helped to him.

He moved closer to her,their faces just inches apart and their eyes closed on their own. And he kissed her,his lips perfectly blending in her soft petals. They didn't remember anything. Her mind was now foggy ,not able to process what was happening.

While he just concentrated on how soft her lips felt against his rough ones. His one hand held both her hands above her head while the other went to her nape, pulling her more closer.

Her stomach tingled with the multiple sensations,while his hands went in her soft hair, deepening the kiss. He bit her lower lip making her gasp and he entered his tongue in. Her spine went through the current when his tongue touched hers.

She gasped when she went out of air and he, half heartedly backed off and looked at her flustered state. She was breathing heavily, her hair was a mess and her face all red. Her eyes were still closed and her breathe evened. Her lower lip swollen and somewhat red.

He just kept looking at her until she opened he eyes and her eyes widened realising what just happened. She was about to shout when he put his hand on her mouth. She was still muffling when he spoke.

"She's still on the door."And this confused Lili. He rolled to his side and she immediately stood up and opened the door.

And she was shocked ,there was no one, her confused expressions changed into angry one as she locked the door behind her and took slow steps towards him.

"Uhh.. Lili-"She took a pillow and started hitting him.

"Oww.. Lili.. don't.....it hurts!!"He shouted but she was not stopping.

"WHY THE F#€K DID YOU F#€KING KISSED ME!!!" She wasn't stopping and climbed at the bed and sat beside him on her knees while he layed on the bed.

"Lili...ouch!! Don't!!!!" And he held her wrists and pulled her making her actions halt in air.

Her hair fell on his face as he looked at her,face red and lips swollen. And she quickly sit straight and took the chocolates and went out to the balcony and sat on the swing,the cool breeze hitted her face and she smiled.

He just shook his head and went to his study as he wasn't feeling like sleeping. Picking up his book he continued reading but the bookmark was not at it's right place.

A small card on the table caught his eye. He picked it up and read-

I really liked a book of yours so I'm reading it.

LILI

He looked again at it and smiled.

What's happening to me??!!

*It's loveee!!!*

No!!

*It is,dude!!!*

Then it shouldn't be!!

*Then why did you kissed her??*

I..uh...

*You wanted to!!*

But...

*Ohh then why did you brought the gifts?? If she's mad,let it be,why you care huh??*

You told me!! That she's your wife!!

*But I'm also you!!*

Uh... yeah..

He closed the book and walked out to her. He showed the book to her and she looked at him nervously. "What's this??" He asked.

"A book."

"I also know that it a book but why did you touched it??!!"

"Ohh...and why can't I?"she took the book from him.

"I was reading this!" He again took the book.

"And now I'm too"she again took the book.

He sighed knowing now he can't win from her. And she smiled victoriously.

"By the way, you have a good collection of books, I mean I really liked it.."She said and started reading the book.

"Can i sit and read too??"she nodded and he sat beside her and started reading the book with her.
