I then opened the door of the house after wiping my tears and I saw my mother and younger brother peeking from the window.
"What are you doing?" I shouted.
" I agree, if you are with Jefri, you don't have to cover it up." My mother said.
"Hmm... I thought you two were dating, wow, that's good. I'll get things from sis Jefri again... lol, sis, Jefri's bag is branded." My little brother spoke.
I then punched my sister's head and said, "You are a little kid who likes to blackmail people. There's nothing between me and Jefri." I went straight to my room.
Tonight I lie down but I can't sleep even though I try to close my eyes I can't. In my head now there is only Jefri…Jefri…Jefri. I hope tomorrow will come soon because I want to see how he is.
The next day I was getting ready to go to school when I opened the door, I saw the figure of Jefri who was waiting for me in front of the fence with his motorbike.
"Why don't you call or chat instead of you waiting." I said as I opened the fence.
"No , I don't want you to rush." Jefri replied.
When we arrived at school, we went straight to class. Michael looked at Jefri as if he was very surprised but then he changed his expression to normal and sat on his bench in the middle. During the English lesson, Jefri returned to his sleepy attitude during class.
"Could he stay up late playing with his friends so he sleeps at school." I thought while writing some English words in the notebook.
The recess bell rang, Jefri immediately got up and stretched then left the classroom. I immediately followed him from behind, it turned out that he was heading to the roof of the old school that was no longer in use.
"Want to feed the cat again." I asked.
" Yes." Jeffrey said slowly.
Without noticing me, Jefri started to open the cat food and give it to all the stray cats in the school. Jefri then sat looking at the sky, I immediately followed him and noticed his face at that time there were bruises near his temples. I immediately took out the medical equipment I brought and said "I'll treat you first, okay?"
Jefri just kept quiet and watched me treat him. Honestly when I look at him this close my heart beats fast.
" It's finished." I said to him.
"Thank you Fan." Jefri said.
Suddenly it occurred to me about the motorcycle gang, the gang and the three big guys who were following me at the time so I started asking "What did you actually do yesterday? Who are those people? Answer me honestly."
Jefri sighed and then looked at me and said "I'm sorry Fan, I can't tell you."
I was a little emotional and snapped at him "Why…why do you always worry me? I care about you can't I hear something I didn't know before."
Jefri saw me and then started to close his eyes and opened his eyes again saying "I am the leader of the Saint motorcycle gang, the purpose of this gang is to provide a deterrent effect to motorcycle gangs who commit crimes and violence against other people who should not be victims."
I looked at Jefri and Jefri then continued the story while continuing to stare at the front.
"I formed this gang with my friends who have the same mission. The initial goal of forming this gang was because I was very sad about the loss of my little sister, Fan. My little sister died because of the crime committed by the motorcycle gang that I'm now committing." Jefri said while taking out a photo of himself with his sister.
"It was the day my little sister left for good, she wanted to go and asked me to take her but at that time I was too busy in my own world and finally it happened." I saw Jefri's eyes glaze over and his voice stuttered.
"Because of that, I decided that I would do everything I could to eradicate this crime with my friends so that there would be no regrets about losing another loved one." Jefri concluded as he stood up.
"Whatever I will do even if I have to sacrifice myself." He walks forward
"Stupid….. you don't know what will happen to you if you act like that, your life is at stake, Jef." I shouted angrily behind him.
The bell rang, Jefri then turned his body and approached me and stroked my head while saying "Let's go to class." He smiled without answering my concern for him and left me alone on the roof of the old school.
