The clock that was on the wall was showing that it was 3 AM , Y/n couldn't sleep she turned left and right she shifted from position to position but nothing worked, so she got up from the bed rubbing her eyes and yawning lightly. She sat there for a while and tried thinking of something that could make her fall asleep. Hmmm.... maybe a warm milk could help. She tought and slowly sat up and tumbled over a few times and stepping out from her (guest) room and walking trough the long hallways. While walking she tought that Germny would be not happy with her wandering around the house or touching something from out of his sight, still that didn't seem like it

would stop Y/n from doing it so. Speaking of Germany as Y/n was about to go down stairs but a light catched her eyes it was kind of an orange-ish color she looked directly where the light source was and it was coming from Germany's room, dang Y/n knew that he was a busy country but but never tought he would work that

much and still she doesn't know how much a country should sleep but still it's not a good time to stay awake. She looked at the door and tought for a moment

Meh who cares she then shrugged and tip toed from the stairs to not make a sound. Germany still is a stranger and not to mention Y/n and Germany don't apriciate each other too much especially Y/n.Afterall it was his choice to stay awake at this hour so that being said...Y/n finally arrived to kitchen and opend up the

fridge to take a carton of milk,trying her best to not make a single sound. She looked around for a little bit trying find a coffee pot to heat up the milk and to her luck it didn't take long to find. She poured the milk in it and she was relived that the oven was a electric cooker so it wouldn't make a

sound then she put the pot to the oven and waited.As the milk was warming up she decided look around the kitchen and the living room witch was right next to kitchen.Kitchen didn't have a lot of interesting or weird stuff so she went to the living room . Germanys house was mostly covered with modern furniture but there was this one antique vase on

the little coffe table that was at the far corner of the room.Y/n wanted to take a closer look so she made her way over there , as she got closer she took her hands out to grab and get a good look at the vase and it had some fine workmanship.As she was investigating the vase she heard a slight jiggling in the vase,as she was going to

look inside the vase to see whats making the sound,Y/n got startled by the 'csssssss' sound that was coming from the kitchen all of a sudden.She carefuly put the vase down and qickly rushed to the kitchen to see that the milk was over heated and it overfloved Y/n panicked and

hoped that Germany didn't hear any of it . Y/n qickly turned off the stove and put the pot on a cloth she prepared and after that she qickly started to clean off the overfloved milk on the stove.After the cleaning ceremony she whiped the fake sweat on her forehead and made quiet whistle sond,proud of herself that she didn't mess it up so badly.

Y/n froze in her place not daring to move an inch the sudden sound that came from behind her was Germany even tho Y/n's back was turned to him she can imagine what kind of expresson he was holding right now.She slowly turned twoards germany he looked tired , annoyed but most ipmortantly angry and boy it was not a lovely sight to see . Germany took glanced to the kitchen and then to Y/n he then closed his eyes and rubbed them with one hand and relased a sigh "Really Y/n , just what do you think youre doing in the middle of the night" Germany said "I...couldn't sleep and uhh decided that a warm milk can maybe help me fall a sleep sooooo uh here i am?" Y/n responded fiddeling with her hands . Germany then again sighed and put the empty coffee mug that was in his hand down to dining table and looked at Y/n "Next time tell me before you do anything even if its the middle of the night im awake most of the time anyways" Y/n nodded while Germany was refilling his coffe mug again.Y/n was drinking her milk while Germany was sipping his coffe. As there was silence Y/n spoke "Aren't you sleepy? You were awake for a quite a long time now." and then she yawned at the edge of sleepiness by now she put her head over her arms it was almost 4 AM . Germany responded while still looking at his phone "I am but i have important papers to be signed mostly about you...and also if i finish most of my work today maybe i can take you outside tomorrow." He then waited for any kind of response mostly positive ones but Y/n was silent . He got curious why wasn't she responding so he took his head out of his phone and looked over at Y/n to only found that she was asleep . Germany didn't want to wake her up so he stood up and walked towards her took her in his arms and slowly throw her over his shoulder and carried Y/n to her room.He put Y/n on the soft covers of the bed then Germany got out the room closing the door behind him.

Rubbing her eyes with both of her hands Y/n slowly woke up she felt dizzy and tired since she didn't take too much sleep last night.Y/n slowly sat up the bed height was a little big so she was just hanging her legs from the edge she loked over to the curtains thay were closed she stood up and opend the soft cream colored curtains the light that hit her face made her shut her eyes imidaetly and made a slight hissing sound as if she were a vampire.Y/n went to the kitchen as usual but she couldn't see anyone but only a breakfast on the dining table she wanted to look for Germany but her stomach said otherwhise .Defeted , she sat down on the table eating her food rather quickly,for some reson she was hella hungry. After finishing the food she went over to counter and put her dirty plate in the sink as she was gonna grab a glass of water as she was filling the glass Germeny came into the kitchen and he was all dressed up and wasn't wearing that stained and wrinkled shirt anymore he had some formal-ish but also comfy style he had a dark brown blazer on top of his new white shirt he looked at Y/n "Ah good,you are done with your breakfast now go get dressed up.". Y/n's was confused and by her confused look he continued to talk "We need to talk to UN since i finished all my work and filled all the forms about you and we need to give these to him.". He said holding out a big brown leather work bag that was probably full of singed up papers of treaties with other countries and all the other imports and exports ya know it's like one of those lawyer bags.Y/n shot up in her place quickly her face full of happines,because for a girl with lived the dark clouds in the sky for her whole life this is really exciting for her to go out and see the lovely weather  again. Y/n quickly nodded went to her room to get dressed. Germany shaked his head in a tired manner and chuckled after a long time he really felt like he was enjoying himself and someone  elses company. His white house that was always so cold and boring was full of life and warmth for the first time. He truly felt happy although,he wouldn't admit it.

He was cut of his toughts when he heard quick footsteps he looked at the girl who was coming down from the upstairs really quickly and smiling brightly so bright that actually loked like she was hurting her cheeks but that was the least of her concerns for now she rushed beside the German man "Im ready!..."said Y/n making her way to the doorway. Germany looked at her he never tought Y/n had a side like this under her sour and serious layer but he can't blame her anyone would act like this afterall,she never saw the actual sunlight until a week and a half before. He wore his shoes and tied them tightly,he grabbed his keys and opend the door and as soon as he did that Y/n rushed outside with all her might and ran around like there was no tomorrow. "Y/n wait!" Germany called out quickly shutting and locking the door,he ran after her to catch up. After some running exercise Y/n ran out off power and stopped and Germany cathed up to her all out of breath kneeling down putting his palms on his knees and gasping for air. He reached his hands to grab Y/n's shoulder "Don't...*huff* ran off like.... that *huff*" again..." Y/n loked at him and started laughing Germnay couldn't find the meaning in this but nevertheless he laughed off too they laughed for a while until it died down .Germany then sat up and holded a hand out to pull up Y/n. She took his hand and got up balancing herself after Germany leaded her to his car so they can go and talk with UN.the ride was pretty calm they talked mostly Germany ansewerd Y/n's questions about how really envrionment works or some other stuff...They came to the building,since there is no crowd covering the building itself or making distractions Y/n finally had a good look on the building it kinda looked like 'the White House' but Y/n herself never saw the White House cause well after the war thing started between humans and countries some rebels took over the White House and well...Basically set it on fire and crashed it but still her father showed her the old picture of that place so  Y/n could make out the similaritys. Like those  columns  in the front of the building with those engravings.Germany got out of the car and started texting probably to UN and then he slightly nodded and put the phonein his pocket."Alright UN will be here in few minutes we should wait at the entrance""Shouldn't we go inside?""No need i will simply hand these papers to him and we will be good to go. He will probably send me some other work trough email."Y/n hummed and nodded they made their way to the gate . Y/n sat down onto the marble stairs and leaned her head down to one of the the columns and sighed as Germany sat beside and so,they waited for UN to arrive.

Some time has passed and no sign of UN anywhere well the 2 didn't even notice they were busy chatting

"So ur telling me your muscles are like copper wires and it a normal bullet wouldn't do much damage?" "Yes also if you try to hit too hard you will most likely damage your hand." Y/n felt chills going trough her whole body seeing that Germany leaned forward "Do you want to try it?" He said putting a hand on his chest smiling softly.Now Y/n was really creeped out she turned her head fastly twoards the other directions and mumbled "no thanks" in some kind of funny manner that caused Germany to chuckle sooner Y/n joined too as they were having their little laughter someones shadow cast over their bodies "AH Y/N!It's  truly great to see you getting along with Germany!" It was UN he looked happy as ever he smiled at them with vlose eyes.Germany immidaetly shot up from his place and straightened his back "UN! Sorry for not noticing you sooner!" Germany bowed slightly "Oh c'mon Germany we are old friends no need to be formal now." He said as he made a gesture with his hand to calm Germany down but Germany looked kinda nervous and scared.Y/n also sat up and and looked twoards the two "So

Y/n tell me how do you like it here so far?" Said UN turning twoards Y/n "Well uh...It's been nice Germany is a good host and i think we uh get along just fine." Y/n said trying to be postive as possible because she didn't want to cause Germang any trouble and make him even more cold twoards her than he already is "Yes i certanly see..."He said lookin at Germany but Germany looked nervous as ever but why?There is no reason to be like that everything seems fine and peaceful 'something looks wrong' Y/n tought but shook it off anyway there is no need to cause drama all of a sudden."Germany are those papers done?" Germany noded

" Ah Splendid! Let's go inside so i can give you a new sheet of work. Sorry for making you work this much but you know how this time of the year is,Y/n i hope you wouldn't mind waiting for a few minutes right?" He said looking at Y/n with and apologetic smile but before Y/n could speak Germany protested "Wait UN!Didn't you said you will give the work form online?" He was sweating a little UN smiled and put a hand on Germanys shoulder "Well yes but there is some extra trades just came out at the end of this month and u spose you could handle them?"He said still smiling , gee does this guy ever stops smiling? "I...i see." Said Germany folowing the UN that was going into the building.

Sometime had passed and Y/n was still waiting at the gate for Germany to come out it has been 30 minutes.What was taking so long anyway?Yes maybe Y/n wasn't the expert at these political discussions but she sure as hell knew that this souldn't take this long. As she was lost in her toughts about 'going into the building or nah?'the doors of the building open up Y/n sat up and looked twoards Germany "So where are we going now?" Y/n asked "Home." Germany answerd but in a more dull and cold tone "Awh can we atleast take the long way around?" Y/n wanted to be outside as much as possible she was feeling energetic today witch was unususal so she didn't wanted to waste it. "No." Germany said and immidaetly started walking to his car not caring if Y/n was coming behind him or not . Y/n obivously confused  walk to the car with him to catch up.What the hell happend? Why was Germany acting like this?Honestly Y/n had no idea they sat down in the car Germanys eyes were dull,his cold demeanor was back as he started the engine Y/n could just looked at him in wonder 'What happen in there?' Y/n then looked  twoards the building one last time before they took off and she saw UN at the gate smiling and waving slowly.Feeling uncomfortble Y/n looked straight up ahed to avoid his looks as they went to Germany's home

Germany was at UN office waiting for him to arrive they he heard the sound of the door "So Germany , i see you are taking your sweet time on this one huh?" UN stated chuckling lowly "No it's not what it looks like!I swe-" "No need to talk im sure you didn't mean to grew closer to her either you are just a little confused Germany thats all." As Germany was going to open his mouth to say something UN continued "So to stop your and her actions i changed on my mind about somethings" "Like what?" Germany asked curious "Oh its pertty basic maybe too basic simply be rude to her." "What?" " You Heard me it's not a hard thing just treat her like how all humans should be trated." " But didn't u said we should act nice so they would feel comfortable and not suspect anything?" "Well yes,this method might have worked with other ones but this not worth the take the risk and try that again until one of u crack open to her and spill possibly everything is that clear? " UN finished off "Bu-" "Germany is that

clear?" "Yes" Germany said in defeat but UN was right everything they worked for until now yes it sure was not clean business but it was all for the greater good and so they started talking real business.

Germany was walking twoards the exit with a straigh face and walikng fastly he opend the large brown doors of the gate and there Y/n was waiting for him to come out. Y/n aproached to him "So where are we going now?"Germany looked at her and tought for a moment 'Its all for the greater good' he

tought "Home" and started walking staright up to his car to go home.
