First Evolution... Already?

Fumi walked down the corridor hesitantly. cautious of everything and anything.

He was about to take another step when he heard a crack sound coming from ahead of him. He tried to peer closer into the darkness until he heard a particular squeaking.

He froze on the spot, 'Don't be scared you coward. Are you a man or a mouse? ...Well technically I'm neither so... Are you a slime or a mouse? That sounds about right... '

From his frozen position he moved to the wall, activating [Stealth] almost like an instinct.

From the darkness emerged a rat the size of a cat.

'Well I guess that's a no...' Fumi thought to himself. He slowly inched forward trying to go around the damned rat.

Suddenly, the rat's head snapped towards Fumi.

[Stealth has been forcefully deactivated. Enemy has spotted you.]

'Oh C'MON' He mentally shouted, '[Flare]!' a spark came out and blasted the rat's eyes.

[Maxed critical hit:-100]

'[Pounce]!' Fumi jumped on the rat's back.

[Due to weight and landing site: -50 and crippled effect has been added to rat's status.

New skill acquired: 'Bone Crippler']

Fumi hopped off the rat's back inwardly smiling happily. He'd gained a skill and crippled the bastard rat before it could get a move out.

Thanks to the flare spell of course, none to the stealth though.

With it's eyes gone and it's spine broken the rat laid there seemingly awaiting death.

'I guess I should put it out of it's misery.' Fumi used [Pounce] and [Bone Crippler] to crush the rat's skill finally killing it.
