Two Women

"Angela!"

Hearing another woman's voice, Carter turned around and saw Ciara going in their direction. The woman's body swayed dearly, showing off the curves that were visible with her tight clothes.

"I was looking for you for minutes. I didn't know that you were just here" With her lips pouting, Ciara looked at Angela. Tiredness was visible on the woman's face as she sprinted.

"Ciara!" Angela's surprised voice sounded as she stood up from sitting down. She went near, meeting the woman halfway.

When Ciara noticed that her friend was not alone, her eyes immediately widened. "Oh… Hi, Carter," the woman smiled awkwardly.

Carter lightly smiled. "Hi, Ciara," he answered, not even bothering to stand up.

The woman shyly nodded and glared at Angela after Carter turned back.

"You should have messaged me that you're alone with Carter." the woman spatted in a low voice.

Pouting her lips, Angela smiled at her friend as she wrapped her hands around the woman's shoulder, "I forgot to do it."

Ciara shook her head. 'It seems likes Angela's adoration towards the man is starting to grow,' she thought after watching how the woman's face flushed when Carter smiled in their direction.

"Carter, we need to get going now," Angela waved her hands to bid goodbye. "Let's catch up next time," she added before smiling widely.

Carter nodded and stood up. "I should walk you out two." the man uttered.

Angela instantly nodded as her face secretly reddened.

"If that's what you want, then sure," Ciara answered when she noticed that her friend wouldn't utter any word.

Carter led the way to the front of the lake where they came from earlier. He looked back and saw Angela and Ciara talking to each other.

The corner of his lips rose up as he saw them seriously talking as if they have an important matter to discuss.

"What did you two talks about earlier while I was away" Ciara curiously asked her friend.

Angela smiled sheepishly. "Nothing important actually. We just talk about our lives before the game," she answered, remembering their talk earlier.

Carter and she talked about a few things. What their likes and dislikes about people and they shared their experiences in the game too.

Angela just knew that the man was new to the game, too. She thought that Carter has been playing for so long because of his skills.

She remembered the time that they saved her and her friends from the monster's attack. She was amazed by their courage, but what struck her the most was when Carter guided them on fighting.

The first thing that came into her mind at that time was how cool Carter looked. Maybe that's why she grew adoration for the man. But she didn't need to worry because it was just a simple adoration for saving their lives… she thinks?

Ciara giggled at what her friend answered.

"So, you two are in the process of knowing each other?" The girl teased her friend that made Angela's face redder.

"Shh, don't let him hear us!"

Angela grinned. "Okay, Miss secretly in love"

When the two women finally stopped talking to each other, Carter couldn't help but to chuckle.

"Should we continue our walk now?" Carter asked the two as they stopped halfway.

"Ohh! Sure," Angela smiled sheepishly and hid behind Ciara's shoulders.

"Oh my god! I hope Carter didn't heard our talk."

After hearing the woman's answer, Carter nodded and started to walk again. They arrived at the front minutes after.

Carter greeted Lucas and others when they arrived in front of the door. Joseph and Dandrik were there as well.

"Yow bro! We've been waiting for you since earlier." Joseph smiled widely as she walked near Carter, placing his arm around the man's shoulder.

Carter chuckled. "I was sitting on the back of the lake when I bumped into them," he uttered before pointing his finger at the two women.

"It's nice to meet you again, bro." Lucas high-fived the man.

Gab and Gian greeted Carter as well, saying their Hi's.

"Oh, yeah. Now that I remember it, where are you staying, Lukas?" Joseph asked when he remembered it.

"We're staying in an inn near here," Lucas responded, making them nod.

"Let's go back now and visit the 4 other destinations," Dandrik suggested that they agreed with all.

Carter followed them as they opened the door once again. A blinding light flashed through his eyes, instantly transporting them in front of the five pathways.

"That almost made me dizzy," Joseph said, holding onto his clean head.

Lukas laughed loudly. "I thought the heavens are already calling me," he joked around, which made Joseph laugh.

When Carter glanced over to the side, he saw Ciara and Angela sitting down on the ground with closed eyes. He silently went there.

"Are you two, okay?" He asked cautiously.

Opening her eyes, Angela looked around, adjusting her view. "Yap. the sudden change of places just made me dizzy." She answered.

Carter nodded and helped Angela on, guiding Ciara to stand up.

"She tends to easily get dizzy, that's why. But no worries, my friend is okay." Angela bit her lower lips as she answered.

Opening up his inventory, Carter took out a bottle of water. "Here, I hope this helps," he uttered.

Angela smiled widely. She made Ciara sit on the bench first before opening the bottle and giving it to the woman.

"Thank you," Angela gave thanks.

"No problem," Carter responded.

He looked over to Ciara and saw the woman almost finishing the bottle of water. When Ciara was already finished, she placed the bottle in the side and raised her head.

"Thank you," Ciara uttered as she looked at Carter. A sudden loud beating from her heart sounded as their eyes met halfway.
