"Haha, boss, your bounty has grown again," a shipmate said, kissing ass to his boss and showing his boss the new bounty on the paper. "You're going to be known throughout the world one day."
The pirate captain laughed as he looked at the bounty below his picture, which was 1,000,000 Beli. The pirate captain had what looked like a red pirate costume with a jolly roger on the red hat that he was wearing.
All the other pirates on board the ship clamored around to take a look at the bounty, while there was suddenly a voice from in front of them, "Excuse me, I was wondering, where is the food?"
"It is down below, and you take a turn to the right, and you will find the storage room at the far end," someone spoke up.
"Thanks, man."
"Wait a minute, who are you," they saw a young boy around 15 years old getting on board and taking off his shirt to dry out the water.
His body was over 10 feet tall; without his shirt, they could see the building muscles around his neck. His muscles, especially the muscles of his arms, are even more extensive than their waist, and those hands are enormous.
"Any intruder who dares to go onboard my ship only has one result: they die," the captain said with a grin as he took out his blade.
His shipmate begins to tap on his boat's arm to stop him, "Boss...I think he is that new pirate hunter that had been killing pirates and destroying ships. That Crazy Pirate Hunter Leo."
Just standing there, his height was already pretty imposing before his voice sounded again, "Not bad, it is I indeed. Although I don't quite like that nickname." Without even knowing when he moved, he was already behind them. It was like Leo teleported into space.
By the time he put his sword back, all of them had already died under the clean sweep of his blade. One by one, all of their heads fell to the floor.
"I'm too tired to collect heads today, although money is money, so I might as well find myself a nice bag to put them in," Leo complained as he rubbed his stomach. "Need to get some food first. I remember he said I must turn right and head down the corner. And what a horrible nickname."
As Leo was heading toward the storage room for the food, he could sense that another person was still alive and hiding in one of the rooms.
As he was walking in the direction of where the person was hiding, he noticed the sound of some metallic stuff rubbing together. It reminds him of the sound of coins.
'Gold coins?' Leo thought to himself.
The door seemed locked, but he could use brute force and break it apart.
When he opened the door, he recognized that it was indeed the treasure room where they stored all the coins and jewels. But what caught his attention was the person who was scooping the coins into a large bag.
He couldn't exactly see the person's appearance under the cloak. But at that moment, their eyes met. He could know from his Haki that the clocked individual seemed scared because the person's heart escalated upon seeing him.
Taking out a dagger from the back, the robber tried to kill him. However, he didn't want to kill the robber hiding on the ship because he could sense that the robber had no killing intent.
Leo instantly grabbed the knife from the robber and used one leg to knock the thief to the floor. Then, he put a foot on the thief's back to stop him from escaping.
And now, with the oversized hoodie off, he could finally see the thief's appearance.
It's a woman who looks like she is in her teens. She has short orange-colored hair and beautiful brown eyes.
How could he not recognize this young lady is, "Nami?!"
Leo immediately let go of his leg because it seemed like it was causing her so much pain that she had tears from her eyes.
As he crouched down and tried to give her a tissue to wipe away her tears, he could see that she immediately scooted away from him.
"…." I'd there is something that he doesn't know how to deal with it would be women and tears. The combination of which leaves him without any ideas about how to escape.
"How do you know my name?" Nami asked him with signs of hesitation in her eyes.
Leo thought for a second before answering her, "Well, I saw your wanted poster before, Cat Burglar Nami." Then, he gives a polite smile as he stretches his hand warmly.
She looked at him and then looked back at his outstretched hand. And decided that it was best that she accepted this strange weirdo.
She was wondering before if he was part of the pirate crew. But if he were, he wouldn't have acted so friendly after he caught her. So she decided it was best to trust him for now.
In that empty room came a noise from Leo's stomach, which caused him to smile with embarrassment. Then, scratching his head, "Well, I'll be getting some food for myself. You can keep the money. I had already killed all the pirates on board."
"You killed all the pirates!?" Nami was in disbelief that a boy as young as her could slay a group of pirates with a bounty of a million B.
Money doesn't mean anything to Leo anymore. It's like a number for him. He could instantly kill any pirate in the Blue Sea effortlessly and exchange their head for money. For him, the pirates are walking ATMs that he can get cash out of whenever he wants.
What matters more for him is to be able to find strong opponents whom he can work his skills upon. In this world of the survival of the fittest, strength is what matters. Without power, everything can go to hell.
