Chapter 36

Title: Power of Rocks

"This, is this the end?!" Doflamingo muttered to himself as he watched the cataclysmic battle unfold. Witnessing the overwhelming might of Xilan, who was revealed to be the Black Dragon, left him in utter shock. The legends of Whitebeard, the strongest man in the world, and Kaido, the strongest creature in the sea, land and air, seemed almost insignificant when compared to Xilan's power.

Blackbeard, a formidable figure at the Admiral level, was being overwhelmed by such destructive force. Doflamingo couldn't help but feel awestruck at the sheer might of the Black Dragon.

Amidst the chaos and destruction, a sinister laughter erupted, echoing like a nightmare and oppressing everyone's hearts. The Black Dragon soared freely through the skies, exuding an aura of dominance over the world.

"Roar of the Black Dragon!" Opening its massive maw once more, the Black Dragon unleashed a devastating beam of destruction, announcing its presence.

Rocks, the soul residing within Blackbeard, urged him to surrender his body to prevent their imminent demise.

"Hahaha~~hahaha~ Is this all there is? Is this your full power?!" taunted the Black Dragon, its arrogance radiating from every word.

Hovering menacingly in the air, the Black Dragon prepared for another devastating attack, ready to unleash its overwhelming power upon the world.

"Give me your body, Teach!" Rocks implored urgently, "Or else, we're all going to die."

Blackbeard hesitated, torn between self-preservation and his ambitions. He had always been wary of Rocks, recognizing the danger this enigmatic figure posed. Relinquishing control over his own body was not a decision to be taken lightly. However, the dire circumstances left him with no other choice.

"Here you are!" Blackbeard finally relented, surrendering control of his body to Rocks.

Although Rocks has been urging Blackbeard to help him find a body, the only one that really matched him the best was Blackbeard's body itself.

In response, a sinister laughter echoed once more, and a dense black-purple mist emerged from "Blackbeard's" form, coalescing into an unprecedented giant.

"Break!" "Blackbeard" roared, and the colossal sword wielded by the dark giant cleaved downward from the heavens.

Pooh! The light beam, capable of collapsing an entire island, was torn asunder by the dark giant's strike.

"This is..." The Black Dragon's eyes widened in shock, recognizing the power of this technique. "Dark, Shadow Emperor?!"

Xilan had seen this move already, back then, while he used the abilities of his Dragon Form Rocks used this very same move, and they both had a head-to-head clash. He was intimately familiar with its overwhelming might—a full-powered strike could severely damage a Marine Admiral.

"This is not the right time," the Black Dragon muttered to himself. Using the his original Dragon Form would reveal his identity.

"Hahaha... So, you've been persuaded, haven't you?" mocked "Blackbeard," his taunting laughter filling the air, "Weren't you being really arrogant before?"

The taunting laughter of "Blackbeard" echoed from within the dark giant. The Black Dragon maintained a cold expression, well aware that Rocks had taken control of Blackbeard's body for the moment. The Shadow Emperor's technique was far beyond Blackbeard's current capabilities; it was a move that required the Dark Fruit's awakening-level mastery.

"Listen, Little Dragon, there's only one path before you—surrender!" "Blackbeard" advised calmly.

"Blackbeard" didn't stop and kept talking rebelliously, "Currently, the only ones in this sea who can challenge me are Garp and Xilan. As for you, what are you? Just be my little brother  and follow me obediently!"

The Black Dragon's expression turned even more peculiar. Could "Blackbeard" truly not recognize him as Xilan, despite the overwhelming display of power?

"He won't last long in this state," the Black Dragon muttered, glancing at the remains on the ground.

"Would you like to be my subordinate?" "Blackbeard" asked aloud.

"Give me 10 billion berries, and I'll be your father," the Black Dragon retorted humorously.

"Courting death!"

(AN: DAMN, THE FAMOUS LINE!!!)

"Blackbeard" grew furious, directing the dark giant sword to sweep forward. The dark aura emanating from the blade was lethal to anyone who touched it.

In response, the Black Dragon unleashed two consecutive shots from his maw, causing massive explosions on the giant sword. The dark giant, hundreds of meters tall, staggered backward under the onslaught.

"Dare to resist?!" "Blackbeard" seethed and commanded the dark giant to strike from the air.

Boom! The Conqueror's Haki exploded on the dragon's head, shattering the dragon scales across its face. Despite being dazed and bloodied, the Black Dragon's eyes remained sharp as ever.

With incredible speed, the Black Dragon ignored his injuries and lunged at the dark giant with it's huge body.

"Haha... You idiot, you took the initiative and walked straight into my trap," "Blackbeard" laughed heartily, and the black giant sword swung down.

The immense blade was poised to cleave the dragon's head when, with a swift swish, the Black Dragon vanished.

Rocks: ? ? ? ?

Boom!

A tremendous force struck from behind, causing the colossal dark giant to tilt and crash into the sea.

"This bastard can also travel through space?!" "Blackbeard" nearly choked, looking at the sea behind him, a chill creeping down his spine.

Bang, bang!

The sea surged, sending towering waves hundreds of meters into the air as it swallowed the dark giant entirely.
