Man Cursed by the Sea

After a night of chaos, the Locke Pirates finally returned to silence. There was a snoring sound in every corner of the ship. Locke sat in the corner of the banquet hall, quietly eating breakfast and listening to Brook play the lyric piano.

"Hey, Brook, you went to sea long ago. Have you heard of Locke? D. Beck?" Locke suddenly asked Brook.

"Hey, Locke."

"He was the overlord of all the pirates in the sea. He gathered a group of terrible monsters with his strength and charm."

"Almost all the pirates in the Grandline were shivering under his name."

Brook recalled some of the things that had happened to Locke.

"Don't worry, its deep sea giant demon has been beaten to death by Ember." Since he knew some information about Davy Jones, Locke no longer paid attention to him. After all, it was just a mere Davy Jones. It was not worth Locke giving him too much attention.

Locke was interested in him because he felt he was similar to the person in The Pirates of the Caribbean. After eating all the breakfast in front of him, Locke looked at Brook. "Do you want to join my pirate group?" In the face of Locke's sudden invitation, Brook trembled.

Locke walked to his side and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Brook, no one in this world is completely useless."

"Besides, I don't only care about his strength. I only invite those who are interested in me."

"You also have excellent knowledge and know many stories I don't know. Besides, your music performance is outstanding! I hope to have a great musician like you at every banquet in the future. Brook was even more excited when he heard Locke's words.

After drifting alone in this sea for many years, he longed for his companions. However, because of his figure, he felt deeply inferior. Now, he met a man who recognized him and was willing to invite him to be his partner.

Brook slowly got up, read a book, and then faced Locke. He half-knelt on the ground. "I am Brook. I used to be the acting captain of Lampard's pirates. At that time, I was rewarded with 30 million Baileys. I have the title of Brooke!"

"Now, fortunately, Captain Locke invited me to join Locke's pirates."

"In the future, I, Brook, will sacrifice my life for Captain Locke to help him fulfil his dream!" After saying that, Brook took a bounty from his arms and gave it to Locke. Locke took the bounty, glanced at it, and then solemnly put it away.

"Ah, welcome to join, Brook." As he spoke, Locke helped him up.
