chapter 8: damn what can that mouth do?

*door opening noise* (Idk lol)

"Makino!" Luffy said very loudly, I would call it a scream but this is his normal voice…

"ah, Luffy" a lady with dark green hair approached us from the bar stall

"Makino! This is Samael!" he smiled

"ah, so you are Samael!" Makino said with half surprised half happy face "I heard so much about you, Luffy always talks about how you-" she was about to continue but was stopped by Luffy screaming

"shut up I didn't say anything!" Luffy shouted at Makino with a blush on his face (all you sick bastards who think this is yaoi, it's not and they are 8 and 6 years old you sick f*cks)

I giggled at his childish behavior he must have shared with Makino some of our adventures like that one time where we went to train together at the forest close to my house but ended up running from a giant spider *shiver* I hate spiders

"hello there little Sam" she said with a caring smile while squatting to be at a face level

"hey miss Makino" I returned her a smile

"waaa how polite" she exclaimed and patted my head "how about I make you and Luffy lunch and we could talk at the table?" she asked while still patting my head 'I could get used to this'

"sure mi-" I was about to accept when she stopped me by saying

"you can call me Makino like everyone else" she said

"ah sure Makino" I gave her a little smile

She seems like the mother type does she have a child or something?

We walked to the seats and I started to talk to Luffy

"nee" I asked

"what?" Luffy replied

"where are your parents?" I asked with a serious face

After meeting almost everyone Luffy knows I expected to see them first, but the more I thought about it the more clear it became, Luffy has no manners, his grandpa and Makino are the ones raising him up plus he is a shounen main character his parents are probably dead or something

"hm? I don't know" he answered like it was the most casual thing in the world

"no no you have to know something, do you know anything about your parents?" I asked with confusion

"hmmm" he thought while putting a hand on his chin

I got closer expecting some kind of big story

"nothing" he said with the same casual voice as before

I fell from my seat, god dammit Luffy aren't you supposed to know if you have memories of someone or not?

"god dammit Luffy why did it take you so long if you don't have any memories of it whatsoever?!" I screamed at Luffy while standing up

"language!" Makino shouted from the kitchen

"sorry!" I shouted back "anyway" I turned to Luffy "how about you ask your grandpa about your parents I'm sure he knows something"

"does it really matter? I mean if they are not here they are not here" he said with a confused face

"of cou- wait actually that's a good point" if your parents don't raise you up they are not your parents end of story that's at least what I believe "but doesn't it interest you at all?" I asked

"no not really" luffy said with a tired tone "I am a little tired to think about things like that" he said rubbing his right eye with his finger

I was about to say something but totally forgot because Makino just came out of the kitchen with green spaghetti and it was absolutely beautiful, plates full with steaming spaghetti with all the smell of the herbs and spices, it's the first time I've seen this dish since I was reincarnated

"don't eat too fast you might burn the roof of your mouth" she said while placing the plates on the table

As soon as the plates hit the table Luffy started to become pink and suck all the spaghetti- naa im just kidding he didn't become pink but he did suck the spaghetti though

"didn't you say you were tired a second ago?" I asked deadpanned "thanks you for the food" I thanked Makino and started eating from my own plate

We just talked after finishing to eat and I learned some things about Makino and then a question came up to my head

"Makino, do you know shanks?" I asked with curiosity

"hm? Yes he comes here pretty often, do you know shanks?" she returned a question

"oh no I don't really know him but I just wanted to make sure he is real and not some fantasy pirate Luffy has created inside his head" I was kinda relieved to know it wasn't the imaginary friend scenario, didn't want to deal with that kind of shit

"hey!" Luffy pouted "why would I make this up?!" he exclaimed

"…" I looked at him with a deadpanned face "like how your fist is as strong as a pistol?" I asked with a teasing smile

"they are as strong as a pistol!" he screamed and brought down his hands on the table with a thud while in the background Makino giggled at his antics

"ya ya I heard you the first time, but I'm pretty sure they are not" I rolled my eyes

"yes they are!" Luffy continued

"no their not"

"yes they are"

"no their no-" I was enjoying making Luffy angry when Makino stopped the stupidity

"well!" she shouted the first word "little Sam your parents are probably worried you should probably return home"

I thought about it for a second before saying with excitement

"hey Makino?" I asked "can I sleep here?"

"YEA a sleepover" Luffy seems to like that idea too

"hmm" she thought about it for a couple of seconds before deciding "sure, we have a spare futon if you want, but I need you to call your mom or dad and ask for permission" she said before continuing while seating up and walking to the counter picking up a snail "do you know one of their numbers?" she asked

"yeah" I answered

"perfect, then here you go" she placed the snail in my hands

I started to put in the number of my mom picked up the microphone and waited

*puru puru puru puru* *puru puru puru puru* *puru puru pu-* *kalik*

"who is this?" my mom's voice came from the phone

"hey mom it's Samael" I told her and then continued " I am at Luffy's place and we want to hang out late so we decided to do a sleepover at Makino's place"

"oh, I don't mind, you can stay if she allows you but don't make any trouble for her understood?" she said casually like she already knew the answer

"thanks mom love you" I smiled

"love you too sweetie good night" she smiled by the face I see from the snail

*kalik* she hung up

"WOOO" Luffy cheered "the last to my room is a rotten egg! " he started to run upstairs

"HEY WAIT LUFFY I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE YOUR ROOM IS!" I screamed while running behind him and continued while running "thanks for having me Makino!!!" I screamed from up upstairs all I heard are little giggles from her while rushing after Luffy

WOO new chapter, tell me what you think, I personally think this is a little slow pace but I need to make relationships seem real and not just "we talked for a while and I got to know them better" which I kinda hate, I want to make this seem like a normal life of a real person with real traits,

plus I don't think I did Makino very good so please tell me how should I improve with her personality all I can think of is a very kind mother type of girl which is kinda bland :/

tell me what you think of the chapter something that needs changing?
