Yesterday was the day I've met Luffy and he's already my best friend which is not a big accomplishment because he is my only friend

I opened my mother's door and started to talk to her about yesterday, she was asleep when I returned I hope she wasn't too worried, she was so happy that I found a new friend and started to ask me a lot of questions about him

And then one of the marines yelled

"hey! Sir! we need you to come report about this to admiral Aokiji!" he yelled from far away

"Coming!" he yelled back while looking in the direction of the marine

*smooch* I gave him a peck on the cheek while blushing a little, he looked at her and smiled

"my name is Smith, Redword Smith" he said with a genuine happy smile

"my name is Charlotte, Gor D. Charlotte" I returned the smile

"and about our 'date'" he emphasized the date with a teasing smile "how about we go to my home town Ill give a place of your own until you can recover financially" he said with a caring smile "did you have any relatives in the village? " he asked with a worried face

"no, no I didn't" I said

"that's good" he said with a complicated smile " you see there are only 4 survivors you included " he said with a sad smile

I started to think about all the people I knew in the village, damn pirates you could have just looted why did you kill everyone "did you kill them?..." I said with a half-sad half angry face

"yes, all of them" he smiled kindly "if that makes anything better Carmen 'Mad' Xander is no more" trying to comfort me

"Sir!" the marine yelled again "we have to hurry you need to report about this sir!" the marine yelled

"augh" he groaned "I'm coming!!" he yelled back "welp, I need to go Ill return in a minute" he smiled and started to walk towards the marine ships

"then I came here to his hometown and fell in love" she smiled with a nostalgic smile "then you brat came" she messed up my hair while I giggled

"That was a nice story mom" I said with a smile "but do you have any relatives?" I asked curiously

"of course I do silly" she smiled with a sad smile "only my brother though" she said while looking at the window"

I'll avoid asking about her parents now

"and where is your brother?" I asked

"he is a pirate" said with a small smile

"isn't that a bad thing?" I asked

"it is" she smiled at me "but he doesn't kill and pillage which is a nice thing, he just seeks adventure and perhaps some treasure but he is a good person" she thought for a while and then opened the drawer next to her bed "here it is" she took out a bounty on someone who I guessed was my uncle

"is that my uncle?" I asked (picture in comments)

"yes, this is him currently he has the bounty of 420 million" she said with not so proudly and more worried smile

"….if he and dad met…. Who would win?" I asked curiously

"I'm not sure" then she added after thinking a little "your dad took down someone with a bounty of 690 million one time although he almost got himself killed he did win and bounty doesn't really measure power... I will bet on my Smith" she said

If dad could take down someone that dangerous he must be super strong

"sweety?" my mom said with a worried face while I (* Eminem voice*) snapped back to reality

"What?" I asked

"I've been meaning to ask… what is this grin you always do when dad mentions how strong he is or about someone else's strength? Do you perhaps want to be strong like that in the future too?" she asked with a forced smile

"ah" I exclaimed in surprise "I'm sorry, yes actually this is why I train, I want to see how far I can go (and fight) so when I hear about that stuff I kinda imagine myself in those situations" I said with a sheepish smile

"ah that's ok" she put a hand on my head "as long as you don't hurt yourself I believe in you, maybe you can even surpass Smith one day" she said with a supportive smile

"Thanks, mom" I sat up "you got me hyped up" I said with a childish smile "I'm gonna go train, oh and mom?"

"what sweety?" she asked

"can I meet with Luffy again today" I asked excited to meet my friend

"sure, but don't come back so late like yesterday" she said with an angry face "I was worried all night until I finally fell asleep, this is the last time you come home after 12 is that clear?" she said with a serious face

"yes mom sorry" I asked with a sad smile

I feel bad for not only making her worried but also making he wait for me even after midnight

"good" she said with a small smile on her face "did Smith give you the new training plan?" she asked

"yes mom" I answered

"good, go on then" she said with a smile and continued "I know how you like to train" she said

"Thanks, mom Ill return in time for lunch" I said before hugging and kissin because it's a must, it's not a shame to love your mother it's a shame if you're embarrassed by it.

My training is pretty basic, physical training and some technics I've been working on

(for example, there was someone who pointed out that he wants D in the name because of their fate or their relevance to the story but I didn't want the MC to be D it will be too much like other stories where the WG sees he's a D and be like "oh no another D?! he's totally gonna overthrow the WG!!" and I don't want that, I don't want them to fear his family name, I want them to fear him as in his power and personality BUT now he has a D blood and it's not in his name! so anything goes I guess)
